Just had an atrocious experience here. The older woman working this morning (only describing her that way because she was literally the only person who wasn't in their 20s) handed me my order. It was incorrect. I let her know I was also missing an item. She held up my sandwich, crumpled it in the air and slammed it into the trash and said, "I guess we'll just throw this in the garbage?!" and then walked away. It was an appalling way to speak to a customer, or anyone really. Not sure if she was the manager but she displayed horribly unprofessional behavior and I feel badly for anyone who works for or with her. I understand working in the Hampton mid-July can be stressful, especially during the morning rush but this was not even my fault, and I was very polite when I addressed her. This Starbucks is lovely I was helped by a very sweet person who took my order. She fell in with my frenchbull Zev who got a pup cup, can I hear a big awwww. I purchased a delish salt camel coffee which I never usually get flavored coffee. I highly recommend this coffee if you crave some sweetness and need an extra charge for the day. The little things are sometimes really the big things! The crew at Southampton Starbucks is ahhhhh...... ahhhhmazzinnnggggg - no wonder Starbucks is known for its best in class training! I work remotely / on my laptop....and enjoying finding welcoming places to do work, while enjoying fresh treats and yummy coffee (!!). The crew at Southampton Starbucks set the tone right and have a cheery welcoming / warm atmosphere, which is why I go there everyday (several times per day) for my favorite lattes and treats. On a recent very cold day, Kellie, welcomed me with a "Hello Lisa!" as I was placing my order.... she has noticed that I enjoy sitting near one of the window tables, today all of the tables were taken and she said "Lisa do you want me to take one of the tables from outside in here for you?!" Wow, talk about customer service... This just made me feel warm and appreciative right away. I had been planning on taking my coffee and going for a walk until the tables became available, but Kellie's solution was much better!!! It was frigid out so she rightly assumed no one would want to be outside, and she went out of her way to make this recommendation, and accommodate me. Sarah is a gem (!!!) , she takes such pride in her work and her warm personality makes my visits there soooo cheery! Katie is so personable!! This location simply doesn't have the capacity to keep up with the summertime volume. At least, that has been my experience frequenting this location over the last couple of months. No matter what time I go, regardless of whether it's a weekday or weekend morning, this place is always slammed. To save time, I place my Starbucks orders via the app. However, if you do that here, you can expect to wait no less than 25 minutes as you watch folks walk in, place their order, and receive their beverages and food, all while the staff slowly makes their way through the queue of mobile orders. I am normally a Starbucks lover! I rarely miss a morning picking up my coffee that I order on my app literally everyday at the Starbucks in Bridgehampton. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Today I had to order my coffee from the Southampton location. The coffee was sitting right in front of me but I thought maybe it wouldn't be cool to just lean over and take it so I asked the barista if I could just crap the coffee. She yelled at me and said NO! So I patiently waited until she was finished with the drink she was making and instead of just handing it to me or simply putting it in front of me she slams the coffee down in a complete different location then where I was standing which was right in front of her and the coffee. I live in Southampton Village and I can honestly say that the employees at this Starbucks are the nicest bunch of people in the entire village. They say hello and smile at you every time you walk in. Finally a Starbucks in Southampton village! With it being the only big chain coffee shop in Southampton village I appreciate the fact that they tried to fit in with the other Southampton storefronts. One main problem is that during the summer during peak hours (mornings) expect there to be a line! However this is expected on busy summer weekends like any other popular store or resturant. They have the order ahead feature through the Starbucks app so I would suggest doing that instead of waiting in line to pay and order your drink read more

Clean new Starbucks in Southampton across street from Citarellas. Decor is almost beachy which is fitting with the location. Great to have in town since we used to have to make a 20 minute trip to Bridgehampton, but appears very few know it is there. Hardworking crew. Very attentive. Service with smiles. Vibe is more local/Hamptons than most other, generic Starbucks; same with Bridgehampton and East Hampton. The store is extremely cold. They always make the temperature cold in summer and now on October which is 52 degrees outside.no one stays in the store. They grab the coffee and go. There is no one you can talk or complain. In winter you can not stay in the store extremely intolerant!!! read more

I stopped in here the other day for a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich before heading to the beach. This is a nice location - clean and quiet.
