Out of all the Starbucks near this area, I think this is the best one. People are friendly for the most part and they're efficient at making the drinks. Only downfall is that they often close early due to staffing issue (same as million other stores during COVID) so sometimes I have to wait a day or two before I can go back and order my coffee. Fun fact: I only order my pumpkin spice latte from this location since I can actually taste the pumpkin when I order it from here. Placed simple order. Never asked for a name. Had to play a guessing game as to whether food item was mine. Place wasn't crowded. Simple coffee was begun, left at coffee maker while person did other drinks. Had to finally ask about it. The human thing would have to say: "Oh, sorry, I started it and forgot!" Happens. This is not the best Starbucks but they get four stars for having quick service and the standard Starbucks fare. If you get there early in the morning, there is typically no line at the drive-thru. The parking lot for this Starbucks is horribly designed and the drive-thru is even worse. It is especially at the apex of a U-turn. If you have a larger car, it is impossible to get close to the callbox. I have seen lines here back up to ten cars. The wait can be long, so if you are in a hurry, this is not your spot. On this particular visit, I went inside to avoid the drive-thru line and ended up leaving before placing an order. Starbucks could probably put another location in Ambler. You would think that with this being a new location and with 5 people working there, and no drive thru line, and no one ahead of me .... that I'd have a great experience / wrong. I already wrote to Starbucks because not only did my order get made wrong once , but twice. The girl ringing me up had a problem ringing me up so she asked another coworker for help which I guess might have been the problem but when the first words that come out of your mouth for an order are "iced" you expect to see an iced drink , not a hot drink. Well they made me a hot drink. And then I told them that I ordered it iced they remade it - although looking at me like it was my fault , perplexed that there could have been such a huge mistake made on any of their parts - they remade it But it was still wrong. Since I had groceries in the car I just left and wrote to Starbucks. When you spend $6 on a coffee you want to get your order correct. And in case you're thinking I probably ordered something outrageous, I didn't. I ordered a premade drink off of their menu. This place is pretty- but it wasn't even clean and although it is large almost all the seating was full. It also was a tad dark. When I'm in the area I'll definitely skip out. I've given this Starbucks at least 10 different attempts and the majority of my visits have been horrendous. The few good baristas cannot make up for the too many poor ones with bad attitudes and bad work ethic. The only positive to this location is their drive thru. Be warned! this place is one of the newer Starbucks in the area so facility wise, it is big and clean. I love how they have the cold brew and nitro cold brew ready to go every day; other places I've been to runs out by the afternoon. the staff is ok; haven't had too much interaction with them but they seem nice enough. I like the big circular table in which is standing height (for an average human being height). is it great to get some work done while you are standing; put's a lot less stress on the back. the bathroom is pretty clean at all times; kinda surprised for a new facility like this they do not have an automatic flush. parking is great; they have a huge lot where you can park. I think one of the biggest pluses to this location is that it is going to be part of a strip mall. they'll have new things coming in so if you need to take a break and walk around, you're going to have that option. there is also a CVS down 0.1 miles down so you can walk and get some snacks and such if you like. overall, good spot, good facility read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!! I was so excited to have a newer, updated Starbucks in the area, but that excitement quickly disappeared after the first few visits. I always use the drive-tru, which is supposed to be quick and convenient... not at this location! The few times I purchased coffee at this location I spent an excessive amount of time (always 10+ minutes, once almost 20 minutes) in the drive-thru. Yesterday, I was driving by and saw a very short line, and decided to give it another go. My mistake. There was no line, only one car that pulled up right before me. They quickly ordered their ONE DRINK, pulled up, and I ordered my ONE DRINK. From the time I placed my order it took 15 minutes to get to the window. The line of cars behind me was now at a whopping 9 count. The time it took to place two coffee ordered the line quadrupled in size. Let me repeat that... I WAS THE SECOND CAR IN LINE, AND IT TOOK 15 MINUTES TO RECEIVE MY ICED COFFEE. Thank goodness I wasn't that 9th car in line, they're probably still waiting for their coffee. EVERY time I come to this location... I wait... for a very long time. It's an ongoing problem that seems to not be given the attention by staff that it needs. This is the worst Starbucks ever ---- this morning went to get coffee and asked for half and half on the side. The half and half was spoiled, it had curds in it, I called and spoke to a manager Sam who said they didn't know, they apparently don't check their products before giving it to the customer. She said they go by the expiration date but the half and half was spoiled. I offered to bring it in and show her. She said what do you want us to do, give you another half and half... I told her I would rather they not give customers the spoiled, curdled half and half.... she said neither yes or no. I always get bad service at this Starbucks. I'll be completely honest. I'm not a Starbucks fan or even a coffee drinker so my perspective may be slightly skewed towards the unfavorable but I will say that even if I was a huge coffee drinker and fan of Starbucks, this particular location seemed especially sad to me. And here's why. Take out what you'd normally get at a Starbucks: coffee and your name spelled wrong on the coffee cup by the hipster working behind the register, and what you're left with is the atmosphere and just how the store feels when you're there. Every time I go to this store to pick something up for my friends, it felt dead. I mean there were people there but it just didn't feel alive. The soft music playing in the background was more depressing than not, the tables and chairs weren't inviting and felt unwanted, even though it wasn't sunny outside, they'd have their curtains drawn halfway which made it even darker inside than it should be. Also every time I go there and there're people sitting at the tables, they'd be speaking softly to each other in a somber mood. I don't know. I just don't like the vibe at this particular spot. I used to work at Starbucks way back in my college days and it was an exciting spot with streams of people, loud music, bright lights, etc. It was inviting and upbeat. This place, I feel like every time I go here I'm intruding in on some funeral. Horrible experience. My friends and I came here as it is a new location. The place is infested with flies. The young workers there are extremely rude and offer NO customer service. The girl with long braids was on the phone the whole time, and waited to make our drinks. It probably took 10 mins for her to even just START making the drinks. Is she that mindless? The boys were just chuckling to themselves having a good time. Very poor service, extremely poorly trained staff. Our lattes tasted awful too. No surprise there. No grown adult was around. These kids should not be working there. Where was the manager? The girl had no name tag, what is her name? She should NOT work anywhere. I refuse to come back to this location. I was at this location this afternoon, during free red cup day with holiday beverage purchase. It was insanely busy in there, but with that being said, the entire staff was so cheerful and positive and kind expressing gratitude for all customer's patience and making conversation with those waiting. One employee in particular, I wish I caught her name, was in a "Radiate Positivity" sweatshirt, and she was the most warm and cheerful Starbucks employee I have ever come across and she herself radiated positivity. My friend and I were ordering drinks from the drive thru, we had the reusable venti starbucks cups that you can request for your drink to be in. Along with that, you can get a discount if you have the cups so we let them know we had them in advanced. when we came to the front window, the woman told us our total, gave us our HALF FULL VENTI CUPS, and closed the window before we even had the chance to pay.... we sat in confusion until she came back out and said our total was $10.64 which just didnt make sense especially because we SHOULD have had discounted orders. This Starbucks is usually top notch. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day or if they don't have the hang of drivethru service yet. We had to give our order three times to three separate people, and the order was still wrong. My dog was with me (in a carrier), and recently had surgery, and literally all the people working there wanted to know how he was feeling and were wishing him to have a quick recovery. I grew up down the street from this Starbucks and come into town to visit my parents often. Usually people are friendly at this location but the past 5 days we've been going in the people give us attitude and are nice to the regulars and sometimes get them their drinks before us, then don't call our orders when they're ready.
