When you need that jolt of Java, skip the mediocre shops downtown and take the long stroll over to Luminary. Also pass on the food options and stick to the coffee and total chill ambiance. The place looks like it belongs in Jersey City, but here we are in rustic Lambertville. Grab a coffee, recline on a sofa and screw the rest of the work day, enjoy life!

The Americano coffee was brewed to perfection. The Apple Brains was delicious too. My barista took my order my payment efficiently and my order was prepared quickly too. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, with many customers busy working on their laptops. Together, but alone!

Came here around 11am for food and coffee. There is ample seating, especially for people working on their laptops. I wanted a pastry but there were only a few left in the case and the ones that were there looked very sad. We ordered two lattes, the avocado toast and the quiche. Our coffees came out relatively quickly. Our food, on the other hand, took 25 minutes after our drinks. I'd understand if they were busy or if the dishes were complicated, but they were not. They just had one person working for both coffee and food, and while she was making our food, a customer waiting to order left. The avocado toast was a bit salty, and only came with one pickled onion piece. The quiche was appalling. For one tiny piece with a pathetic side salad, I paid over $10. Ridiculous.

So I have this thing where I like to visit coffee shops and I have an embarrassingly long list on my phone. I happened to be in Lambertville and remembered that I saved Luminary Coffee so I went for a visit. This is definitely better than the other coffee shop in Lambertville BY FAR. I won't callout the other shop but if you're looking for actual quality coffee and a good vibe , come here. It's definitely quieter on this side of town but the space is beautiful and the coffee was delicious and roasted in house. I got an iced oat milk latte which was super smooth and delicious. Lots of people just working and chilling here, definitely a great spot to spend a few hours. I also loved that they asked you if you were sitting or taking it to go and actually gave you a real glass , I hate having to go cups when I'm sitting inside it's so wasteful. Anyway this is the coffee spot in Lambertville, don't sleep on it.

an amazing new addition to the area, i will definitely be frequenting this cafe over the rest!! the food/drinks: love that they have espresso tonic, it's honestly hard to find and i love it! they use beans from ceremony, a great brand. i also had the avocado toast, blueberry hand pie, and brownie. i would say hands down the brownie was my favorite and it's gluten free too!! the space: LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE!!!! big windows and a garage-like big space. outlets galore and the cutest brown couch. enough! said! the service: kind workers :)

Nice space,Lousy coffee, the worst chai latte ever. The two workers had no idea how to make a drink and most likely left out ingredients.

Instead of choosing between the cinny sugar and raspberry just get both. The cupcakes didn't blow me away, so next time I'll just double up on those pop tarts and brownies and maybe try some other new things. I called when I was in Flemington NJ and called them because someone said there were two locations hoping to find them in Flemington. Anyone the person who told me there were two places was wrong. When I come to New Hope I usually bring cookies and pastries from Bensonhurst Brooklyn for my friends. Driving to New Hope was a last minute decision so a local bakery had to do. The person who answered the phone was bright, cheery, caring and made me want to drive 30 minutes to cry them. I arrived in New Hope, it's a small shop although everyone including the customer were very friendly. It seems like everything is baked right on premises, all natural and just tastes great. They have some unusual combinations of flavors and names that makes you want to try all the different cookies and pastries. As mentioned before, everyone was courteous, great pastries, cookies, and deserts. They bake everything fresh so if you wait until later in the day you may miss out on the great selection. I would highly recommend them and I'm sure they will not disappoint.

Aastha is always so willing to chat & Justin is always down to discuss my current home baking projects. I've been going once every week or every other week for over a year now & felt the need to finally write a review (I don't review much on here!). Today, I walked into the shop looking for my coveted Almond Croissant (amazing) and there were none to be had--Justin hadn't made them today because the plain & chocolate were selling well enough to not make any. This man, so wonderful, offered to make me an Almond Croissant. I felt bad, but he insisted & I came back in an hour & an half and he had it waiting for me. Now, THAT is truly caring about your customers. It was just what I needed after a rough week. Some of my favorite baked goods from the Bakeshop are (obviously) the Almond Croissant, the Country Loaf & Personal Loaf (same dough, different sizes), the Chocolate Chip Cookie (my boyfriend's favorite) & the Cheddar & Chive Danish. Notable mention: I tried the Pesto (homemade with walnuts) & Parmesan Babka today for the first time & oh my gosh, so good. Savory with a subtle hint of sweet. I've never had a savory babka & I'd been eyeing it up the past few weeks and boy am I glad I made the purchase. The vibe inside is cozy & rustic. Warmth radiates from the oven(s) & also the decor. Books for children, window seats to people watch, and a big booth to house a small group of people. All in all, come for the pastries & keep coming back for the customer service.
