This Starbucks is popular and pretty spacious. Friendly service with a smile and usually busy with people socializing or working on laptops. Parking can be annoying but depends on when you come. As spacious and nice it is, they seem to have a lot of transient customers that sleep for hours on end in the chairs (which is totally fine, nobody bothering anybody, super nice guy that does that) odd characters that take up excessive space at the tables and make people awkwardly move from their seats. And then there is everybody that will tell you how they are looking for work and chat you up. Bring headphones and try and sit by yourself if possible. I'm not that much a fan of Starbucks in general, but this one was interesting. So, I would have totally given this place 4 stars if we don't take the crowd into consideration. (Minus 1 star because they never called out any of our names. Why bother asking for them? Plus, cold coffee, anyone?) They were giving out samples of their new breakfast bagels/sandwiches and those were yummy. We each had one of each, so that was basically a free breakfast right there. But what really, really bugged me was the crowd. And honestly, it's like this at any Starbucks. There are the territorial studiers, who camp out at a table (often, one studier takes up a whole table) and stays for several hours. Then, there was this family that took an attitude with us because they wanted our table. Um, we were here first? And, yeah, there are three of us, so we will need all three chairs, yeahthanksbye. Then they stuck around for another 10 minutes or so, like vultures, waiting for us to get up. As if we were planning on leaving that quickly! Go away! Sorry. For all the popularity Starbucks has, it might want to invest in a couple more tables at this location. read more

I went to this Starbucks this morning. I have to say this is probably the nicest Starbucks that I've been too. It's aesthetically appealing and kind of different but the same as other Starbucks. It's fairly big compared to the standard Starbucks and it had plenty of seating. I absolutely loved their huge wall of artwork and the fireplace that was there. Not sure if it was a real fireplace that's actually put to work during the winters, but it's a nice touch to the overall decor. One of the other things that was different about this Starbucks is that there's segregated restroom for boys and girls. In particular, there are actually two stalls in the women's restroom and it was well managed and maintain. :) Good job! I actually don't feel like I'll be getting STDs for one. Ha. Just kidding. It's in a parking lot so parking was fairly easy. I had to take one star off though because they seemed to be messing up on the orders? The girl in front of me had to say her order like 3 times to the cashier and then I had put in my order, but my order never came out until I went up to them and they forgot. No biggie though, he was really nice about it and made the order. The other weird thing is that the outlet under the large long table that a lot of people were using to study at weren't working. It wasn't just mine either, I tried two or three different ones with another customer and we both couldn't get them to work. Not sure what's up with that, but over all not badddddd. read more

This location is in the Cherry Orchard shopping center, where it is often difficult to find parking. It is often busy and it can be difficult to find a table despite this being large for Starbucks. Love the high ceilings, do not like the difficulties in getting a table here inside or outside. What makes this place a bump up is the unfortunate closure of a couple of stores like Peninsula Beauty and Borders next door. This made the parking situation here a lot easier and I no longer need to fight the Borders, Chipotle and the PF Chang's lunch crowd on a weekday lunch. This Starbucks location is always busy, no matter what time of the day you come. It seems to me that there's a lot of people who just loiter there for wifi, or just a place to sit and chat. Although there's a lot of seating both inside and outside the store, seats are still hard to come by. I came here around 9pm on a Sunday night and there was one person working the register, one person making drinks, and 8 people waiting ahead of me for their drink orders. Once the girl at the register was done ringing me up (no one was behind me) she went back to cleaning up and pitter pattering around instead of helping the single barista. Subsequently, I stood there for a good 10 minutes waiting for my drink. Bottom line, this is definitely not a "go-to" Starbucks location but it's conveniently located in Cherry Orchard shopping center where I frequent a lot so I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Oops, only one check in here? I've actually been here quite a few times. A few years ago, I worked at one of the banks nearby and I used this Starbucks to keep me awake all day. The location is pretty awesome--large store with plenty of seating, lots of parking nearby, lots of restaurants/shops to grab some food, and (most awesome) super clean bathrooms! Most recently, I was here on Saturday night at around 9:30pm. I, unfortunately, forgot to get the name of my barista, but he was superb! They had run out of decaf (I needed 2 cups of it) but he quickly suggested the Clover machine (which looks awesome, btw) and was able to take care of us very quickly. What makes me such a raving Starbucks fanatic is that they always go out of their way to provide excellent customer service, and this store is no exception. The two baristas were quick, kind, and efficient--and hurried along even further when we mentioned that we were on our way to the hospital to visit our friend. I've a Starbucks fan but this Cherry Orchard location sucks - the store is always crowded and it's so hard to find a parking spot. And today I had the absolute worst reduced fat fruit scone. It was hard and very unappetizing. I'll take some of the blame for trying it when I knew it was reduced fat. Bottom line: Starbucks good overall, but not a fan of this location. And I'd recommend the reduced fat fruit scone more as a door stopper than something to eat. read more

Teach these barista something about workflow. They take there sweet time when they ring people up and and make drinks, they walk back and fourth leaving the register about as slow as a senior. The barista this morning was on par. The line was soooooooo long, but she had a good attitude and was knocking out those drink orders. I've been to other Starbucks where the line is ridiculously long, but it moved. At this Starbucks, it was slow. People in line were leaving because it was moving so slow. I was thinking of leaving and going to another one, but it was too early in the morning and I needed caffeine. Yes, the decor is nice and there seemed to be quite a few people on their laptops, reading a book or listening to music. I haven't had any problems with my order being made wrong, but again, is it really hard to make a cappuccino. This is one of the nicer looking Starbucks I've been to! They have high ceiling and lots of tables. It usually very crowded but all my drinks came out right everytime. This is a decent Starbucks. It's got a nice dining area with several tables and chairs-- often taken up by people with laptops-- and the outdoor seating situation is not all that bad. The people working there have always been very pleasant and outgoing. I would say the biggest problem is probably one of layout, since the serving area where the drinks end up is about as far from the dining area as you can get, so anyone making the mistake of settling in before they have their drink in hand may be out of the loop. I actually took a star off because of the location itself... parking during crowded times is impossible and when the place is crowded it is just plain crowded to the point of being uncomfortable. This isn't their fault, though, so I gave the star back since whenever I've been there during "off hours" everything is fine. read more

This is a great location! It's really clean, spacious, has plenty of seating (indoors and outside), and it has a fireplace! I was really excited about it. The coffee was some of the best Starbucks coffee I've ever had. It was made to the "T!" The one thing that I did find odd about the place was that the baristas completely seem like they're from Pleasantville. Come here often, the staff is friendly and they do their best to be helpful. The store does not have a drive thru which isn't a problem except the parking can be pretty bad. The store is usually pretty clean all around, tables, restrooms and counters. The cream and sugar station has gotten a bit dirty before but nothing horrendous. The cashier dumped my change in the tip jar without asking, they didn't call my name for my order, when I finally asked, it was wrong, and no one says thanks or even makes eye contact. LOVE THIS STARBUCKS., So, Im almost always here at this location since its near work (before, after or during lunch hours) I drop by. I like this place specifically due its size. Compared to many other Starbucks Ive been to, this is rather large, high(ER) ceiling, great vibe. Yes, although large, at times it gets so packed that you may have to go next door to Chipotle, order "Water in a bottle" just so you can use their (Chipotle's) table, GUILT-FREE. In all, I've been here many times, for some reason they also have more desert and sweet selection than other Starbucks. Get the BIRTHDAY CAKE POP. you'll be in heaven for about 7 Seconds until the whole thing is done, and you'll come back to earth.
