Literally the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. There's a long line of people trying to get their morning coffee and the cashiers have absolutely zero urgency. Also, please educate your cashiers on your own promos. Got charged extra for my $8 power lunch cause the cashier didn't know what was included or how to ring it up. And that was just this morning's trip... Last time I went here, my cousin and I ordered ahead on the Starbucks app. It said our drinks would be ready in 3-7 minutes. We show up 15 mins later and our drinks haven't even been started yet. When they realized this, it took them another 10 mins to figure out how to make the drink. Our "complicated" order? A caramel macchiato and a white mocha. The new barista had to pull out the binder of recipes.... that's fine if you need to train your new baristas, but at this point I've already waited way long than necessary. I ordered ahead for a reason. Not so I could arrive 15 mins later with no drink ready and wait another 10. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... Over it. Literally the worst Starbucks I've been to ever. And that's saying a lot. read more

The bathroom looked like a scene straight out of a scary movie. The lighting is so dim I felt like someone would come from behind and cut my throat. The floor has some water spills and there is literally one half roll of toilet paper and the other had absolutely none. Bathroom from hell enter at your own risk. read more

I like this location because it's close to a Trader Joe's but it seems like they are always out of everything every time I come here. They never have the decaf brewed and it's been on every occasion I've been there. I know decaf isn't popular but it's not that hard to brew on in the morning. They are always running out of the seasonal syrups and the breakfast sandwiches as well. Guess they are going to make it harder on me to have to drive another several blocks to another location. read more

Beautiful inside...high ceilings, lots of tables. Friendly staff and my coffee was made on point. However, the parking was ridiculous. I should of parked at my hotel and walked here. Lots of parking but they were all full of parked cars. read more

we stopped in here years ago, and didn't even realize it until we sat outside and noticed the tiled columns. we simply ordered brewed coffees. nothing fancy. but the service was quick and our coffees were delivered with a sweet smile. yes, we would come back. couldn't believe the ample room inside not occupied by tables. the long work table looked great for working, and several were taking advantage. read more

This is the crappiest Starbucks ever. They are incredibly slow and make the worst drinks. I don't know what their problem is. If you are in Sunnyvale, and need an espresso fix, go to the one on Lawrence and Homestead. read more

Always understaffed and under-supplied. By far the least efficient Starbucks location I've ever been to. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes for them to hand you your drink and another 5 for them to make it right. read more

I like this Starbucks best (out of all the bazillions in the 5-mile radius) because it's spacious, has high ceilings and a cozy fireplace. There is also one particularly perky barista and several regulars you will notice if you come with any frequency. The bad side is of course the parking at this place and also the limited seating. I've often come with the hope of staying, only to have to retreat to the Borders cafe a few doors down (a pretty good alternative). read more

This starbucks is a large spacious facility. I came in for a hot chocolate. The wait wasn't that long. There were plenty of patrons in there too. It looks like a good place to sit and chat with your friends or do homework. read more

I've become quite the coffee snob in the past few years, and I often have to re-assure people that this starbucks is different from the others. The baristas tend to work at this starbucks longer than the average starbucks, so the coffee tends to be brewed and mixed properly. The wait staff is particularly friendly and don't seem like they are passing time between high school classes. read more

World's slowest internet and opposite of climate control It might be "Google Starbucks" Wi-Fi, but homeless people and iPad d-bags go on there and suck down the bandwidth with huge videos and probably pirating, making it unusable for everyone else trying to view a simple webpage or get some work done. Also, the A-C cycles rapidly from arctic to sahara like an industrial environmental stress testing chamber. NASA wants in on it. read more

Orders are typically correct. Regular orders are sometimes remembered, which is nice. Larger than many others in area. Larger bathroom though I've noticed that sometimes ladies will go through costume changes or extended hair-brushing routines as though they have gotten a bit too comfortable in there. read more

Here's the deal with this place. After the remodeling the place looks a lot better, and with plenty of room to boot; but, despite how spacious it is inside, there are actually fewer seats than before the renovations (probably due to compliance with room capacity firecode regulations). For this reason, there are virtually no times when you can find a seat. Customers hover about for long periods of time eagle-eyeing anyone signaling in any way that they might be vacating a seat permanently. Once you get up, someone immediately dives in to snatch it--it's a bit creepy and pathetic. I've left many times without buying anything because there were no open seats. Now, I'm no tree-hugging wacko, but let me beat a dead horse here for a second about the baristas at this Starbucks and their inability to deal with a drink ordered 'for-here'. The ultimate point I'm making is threefold: 1. Poor corporate policy generates poor barista habits; 2. Poor barista habits means poor customer service more often than not; 3. All that stuff means I'll take my business elsewhere. Ever notice how Starbucks tries to pass itself off as "green"? Ever notice all those people seated at a table, in the building, enjoying their beverages, finishing them, and then throwing them away and leaving? All those people enjoy their 'to-go' drinks right there in the store. You gotta love how green Starbucks is when their default serving habit is to add to the landfill problem by assuming everyone wants a drink 'to-go' in a single-use plastic throw-away container. Well, on too many occasions when I've asked for my drink 'for-here' (that means if it's a hot drink it goes in a ceramic mug; if a cold drink, a glass) they simply gave it to me in a single-use throw-away landfill container--the baristas are on auto-pilot, robotically grabbing a landfill cup, not even fully listening to the customer's request. The reason I ask for it to be 'for-here' is so a single-use container is not used. So, sometimes I ask for it to be 'for-here' and the moronic barista grabs a single-use plastic cup, writes my order on that, throws that cup away and then puts my drink in a 'for-here' container. Wow, clueless. When I said, "the point of getting it for here is so a throw-away cup is not used," the barista said to me, "but I need to remember your order." Wow, twice. I can see how hard it is to remember the order: Tall Chai for here. But hey, when I asked for an iced drink 'for-here' I was told they do not have for-here glasses and the barista went on to tell me that, and I quote, " It's just wrong to put an iced drink in a for-here mug because those are really meant for hot drinks." She then gave me my iced for-here drink in a single-use, plastic to-go container--how presumptuous of her. This problem is not unique to this Starbucks, but this one seems to fail far more often than any other I've been to. Since my desire not to add to the landfill is too much for Starbucks to handle, I simply will no longer patronize Starbucks. There are exactly two baristas at this location who are true professionals--they do their job well, provide excellent customer service, and even greet me by name and chit-chat a bit. On the whole, however, the employees at this location have poor skills both as baristas and customer service reps. Those things, coupled with the virtually non-existent seating, tells me I'm not coming here again. Those two good employees were the only factor that justified my still going to this location; but they are surrounded by immature amateurs. Of course, Starbucks doesn't care if they lose me as a customer--and that's something about which you should care. read more

Alright, so I'm in town for a week at a training class (see my Sunnyvale PD review folks). This Starbucks is literally across the street, so I, of course, have to come here every morning. By day 3 the employees knew my name and my drink... how's that for service?? First time in this location since my gym is right around the corner. I was having an issue with my phone not reloading my card so I had to (after already ordering) walk out to my car and grab my wallet, and then came in (my drink was already done) to find it was not made as sweet as I normally get it. They promptly made me another, let me keep the original AND the cashier said he'd buy my coffee since I was having so many problems today. That was amazing customer service all around. Completely unnecessary but I was very appreciative. Being in customer service it's nice to know things can be fixed with zero fuss... just a company wanting to do a good thing and maintain a good reputation. read more

It's a bit hit or miss with this place (i go there out of convenience). Depending on the barista, the coffee can be good or just okay. So they are pretty inconsistent. Sometimes the lines can get quite bad - and frustrating - when you see that the other baristas are just doing random things in the back rather than helping the line along! Most cold, unfriendly environment of a coffee shop I have ever experienced. EVERY time I have gone here EVERY single person is on their technology. NO one can be bothered to talk to anyone. The costumers are TOTALLY and completely focused on their technology. It is extremely depressing to go into this Starbucks. I always feel like I have entered an alternate reality of robots wearing human costumes. The people working there are ok. Very quiet not very energetic. Normally, I would just write my standard Starbucks review, however this place on my first few visits has fallen below my expectations of Starbucks stores. This is a pretty large location, however every time I've gone, usually during a rush hour, they insist on having only 1 person at the register. Mind you, this is when I've seen 5 people working at once. Also, each time I've waiting on a drink from a barista, the barista took way longer than it should take to complete an order. I have pretty good patience, but I can recognize when a barista is not working at the optimal Starbucks speed. Lastly, good luck parking in this lot. It is hell. read more

For a starbucks, this is very on par. The workers are always very polite and greet every customer nicely. The seating area is plenty, but sometimes inconvenient because of the popularity of this location and lack of outlets for laptop users.
