This used to be my go to place for meeting friends but has become really filthy the last few times I've been there. The tables outside are never wiped down, there's no garbage receptacle. And yesterday there was trash left on several of the tables. My sister and I went to pick up our online order from this Starbucks after waiting a minute or two a gentleman working the counter noticed we had been waiting and asked the name of our order. I've been visiting this Starbucks often since it's close to my house. One time I ordered a matcha latte and it was so good. So I ordered another one two weeks later. But this time I chose less ice, guess what I got extra ice a the taste was terrible. I don't know what the real extra ice look like, but I can barely taste anything because of the extra ice. And recently, I also got chocolate-covered strawberry frappe which is kind of popular on social media. This was also terrible and I couldn't even finish it. This is the most rude Starbucks I have ever been to. There are multiple young employees that are extremely rude. The other day I watched a young African American man raise his voice at, who I am assuming based on the reactions of the other employees, his manager. He also put his finger up at me while waiting 10+ minutes to order at the front screen and told to "wait a minute" before walking away and not returning. I waited 15 minutes to order a black coffee. Love this SB location! I've always come here because all staffs are always friendly, my orders are 99% of the time correct. If they miss something, it's usually something as small as spelling my name incorrectly. Not a big deal! Drive-thru is usually a longer wait and the area is slightly tight when coming in so I recommend just getting down and making an order inside. read more

Depending on your time this Starbucks is great, all of the Baristas are friendly and seem to genuinely appreciate you being there. The lounge is typically filled young adults playing around on their computers. They have an outside patio, which is great year round weather permitting. Their drink selection is self explanatory, I usually always or a grande soy latte and it does the trick every-time. They have a great passbook application so all I need is my iphone and it tracks my rewards. Once a month or so I'l l get a $1.00 off a tea or single shot. My only issue is the time, this morning I spent over 15 minute in line for my coffee. They are attempting to get orders before you get to the loud speaker but that much time is just too much everyday. read more

I just stopped into Starbucks to indulge in a venti iced coffee, no classic syrup, and just one pump of white mocha. I brought my venti Starbucks reusable cup as well. The barista proceeded to use a single use venti cup to make the drink then poured the coffee into my cup and threw the single use cup away (No, they don't recycle their cups here either). I explained to him that I bought a reusable cup because I don't want to be responsible for single use plastic waste, and he told me that they need the other cup to "measure" properly. For a place that sells coffee which runs through most, they're so stingy about their bathrooms! It's on the news all the time and manifests localmly as well. We'd had coffee on the patio and someone was still inside though they'd locked the door. We had to use the restroom so badly, and everything had been closed. Now, I know they had closed, but I've worked at retail, restaurants, etc before and worked the late shift. And have been put in the same situation multiple times. Sometimes you get caught and have to go! There is nothing wrong with that. Yeah it's late, yeah I want to go home or not deal with people, but to deny someone the basic urge to use the restroom has always been such a disgusting act to me. Especially two women at night. We ended up having to go to a dirty bathroom across the street, where we couldn't even stay long because the parking lot was littered with creeps saying disgusting things to us. Honestly, it's not hard to be a decent human being and the things you do reflects on the establishment you work for. I dont know who the guy inside was, but he ignored our knocks, and rolled his eyes at us when I finally knocked hard enough for him to have to acknowledge us. Starbucks really needs to get their restroom situation together I've never seen an establishment with employees that act this way about the bathroom. read more

That later proved to be a mistake when the woman taking my order took probably 5 whole minutes to take my order. 5 minutes in the grand scheme of things is not much but when the man next to her is serving 3-4 people before she was even done with my order, it starts to feel long. She was very nice and obviously just new but maybe start your newer employees at a less busy hour than 10am. With that being said, the barista making my iced vanilla coffee did a great job. I'm not a huge fan, mainly because it's insanely expensive and a chain....but I do enjoy the interesting coffee recipes and the gold card membership and free rewards here and there. And the picks of the week are also great! The baristas are mostly on top of it and friendly. I do hate, however, that I am asked if I want my coffee hot or iced. In my mind, it's HOT unless otherwise stated. I mean, that's how coffee was meant to be consumed. But, I digress. This location is very convenient...the parking lot is a bit chaotic at times - because people can't drive. The outdoor seating area is plentiful and nice to have an outdoor patio when the weather is beautiful. What a great experience! Haven't been to a Starbucks in quite a while. Ran out of vanilla creamer at home so went to this Starbucks Drive-thru. The drive-thru went quickly. The order screen was a live feed of the person taking the order. This man was so energetic and nice! Came up to the window to another employee who really seemed to enjoy their job. I've been spoiled by other Starbucks locations that I visit and was really hoping this one would redeem itself in time. I've been to this location quite a few times since moving to the area a few months ago and every time it seems like they are out of items or unorganized despite what a high volume location it is. It could be a busy morning or slow early afternoon and the drive through line is always backed up waiting for the order takers to do their things and get the orders out. The inside ordering process is no different. Every time I go in something is always out of stock as well, which you would think wouldn't happen if they know they are such a high traffic location. I've relegated myself to just go to the Publix in the same plaza to get my Starbucks order fulfilled as they are fast, efficient, and friendly inside that location. They can also get you in and out quicker than the stand alone store. read more

This Starbucks is always busy! for a long time it was the only one in this area. I know they have added one inside the Publix which shares the same lot as this location, but I do not think a lot of people know this. Anyhow, when I stop by here it's typically an in and out situation as I will put in a mobile order. I will say these baristas work fast. I have never had to wait and also have never had any issues with getting the wrong drink. The taste of my drinks are consistent with my expectations. Personally I love the ice chai latte! The drive through is another option, but at this location this will not get you your order any sooner. I am not kidding when I say they are busy! I typically will see people sitting inside and outside on the patio. A lot of them look like they are studying or just catching up with an old friend, typical coffee house stuff. read more

The staff is very friendly, though...and even with the drive-through backed up on weekend mornings, the service is pretty speedy. I am not a coffee fan, but I love the Zen tea. I usually purchase it in tea bags and prepare it at home. I decided to stop in and order one directly from Starbucks since I had some time to kill before my next meeting. Worst mistake ever! They used BOILING water, which anyone that knows how to make tea knows that boiling water cooks the leaves and leaves them tasting disgusting and also burns the mouth of anyone who attempts to drink said tea. I ended up throwing away my overpriced cup of bitter water and grabbing my ice water in my car. I'm actually an employee at this particular Starbucks and just wanted to shed some light on some of the reviews and comments and concerns of our fellow customers. MOBILE ORDERS: I want to start off with our mobile ordering system. now typically with this of course it is meant to be quicker and your order is meant to be ready at your time of arrival. Im aware that the app gives you a time in which your order should be done, IGNORE this. It is not accurate and doesn't account for the large volume of mobile order drinks that we receive at one time. Majority of the time 10-15 mobile orders come though at ONE time. We are THE busiest in all of Tampa so sometimes there WILL be a wait. We (most days) receive enough at one time to stretch to our drive they window! YIKES! I know but trust your barista is busting their butt to assure we get your order our to you ASAP. 9/10 if your order is missing it is because you have not hit the very last button that finalizes your order and sends it to our location. If not it may be an error with our machine and simply letting your barista know at the bar that your order is missing we will be MORE than happy to make your drink on the fly. It's never a problem. Our baristas bust their butt daily to assure you all are taken care of the best way we can! BATHROOMS: Secondly I noticed a review saying we lock our bathrooms. We do not lock the bathrooms. IF the bathroom IS locked, that simply means it is currently OCCUPIED. REUSABLE CUPS: While we do fill reusable cups, there IS a STANDARD in which drinks need to be made. If you have a sparkly reusable cup, it will not have the line measurements we NEED BY STANDARD to make sure we are giving you the proper proportions to build your beverage. While some are upset that we still use a cup other than your own to build the beverage, customers in drive thru expect there beverage to be ready upon arrival at the window. If our line is wrapped around the building and we have to wait for you to come to the window, take your cup and THEN make your drink, it not only will hold up the line but will make you getting your beverage a longer process. COFFEE: During the morning we have all three coffees brewed. We have Pike which is our everyday blend, our dark roast which we switch every so often with a new flavor and our blonde roast. Obviously during the early morning hours demand for brewed coffee is much higher, therefore having all three coffees brewed is necessary. At ELEVEN is when we cut out the dark roast and the blonde because the demand for hot brewed coffee at that time isn't as high. Your barista will let you know (if it is after 11) that we no longer have blonde or dark, and then ask if you would like our house blend of Pike instead or wait about 3-4 minutes for a fresh POUROVER of dark or blonde roast coffee. We completely understand that we are a coffee shop therefore we should always have coffee, but we have found that we waste tons of coffee brewing all three that aren't as popular during later in the afternoon than our house blend coffee. Why brew something hardly anyone is ordering, which thus creates waste. Hope this has helped some. If you have stopped coming to this location months ago I encourage you to give us another try as we are under new management. read more

This is my first time having Starbucks...yeah it's true why you ask well probably because i hate the smell of coffee so if it wasn't for a gift card i would have never tried them. Like i mentioned its always packed so we walked in the service was perfect i ordered a blueberry muffin and a Apple juice it came out nice and warm and was damn good.
