So good and surprisingly affordable for a nitro cold brew with alternative milk! I definitely have to split this drink at least in half as the caffeine dose is too much for one sitting for me, but I was very happy with the richness of the drink. The eclipse nondairy milk has an earthy note to it, so it does change the flavor of the coffee slightly. I enjoyed this flavor! Baristas were friendly and attentive. One of them recommended the Black Forest cold brew, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. The coffee is smooth and strong, the chocolate cold foam tastes like chocolate pudding and it's topped with a lovely reddish pink shimmer. It's been more than a minute since I've been here-and that was via the drive-thru. This time I went in-and I'm super glad I did. It's bright and welcoming inside-as is the staff. They greeted me with a smile and enthusiasm on an early morning-and we could all use a bucket of both on a Monday. I went with my standard-chai tea latte. It was piping hot and ready in seconds. The Kahwa version isn't my all-time favorite, but it's a solid blend. Last time I was here (about five years ago), I had a breakfast sandwich that was very good. Today, I was already too full for food. I know-foolish me-but I'll come back and make up for it. This place is clean, with nice spacing between tables for people working on laptops. The prices seemed fair and I like that there's some merch. (I love to shop while I sip). There's private parking and, as mentioned, a drive thru. I'll report back on future food offerings. read more

While passing through the Tampa area, stopped by around 4:30 PM to grab some iced tea and water to work remotely for a bit. Considering it is the Monday after Fourth of July weekend, the shop was fairly empty, but also pleasantly quiet -- perfect to focus and get some work done. The staff was very friendly, although limited interaction since ordering is done via digital screens, which felt a bit impersonal. Otherwise plenty of tables and outlets so great place if you're looking to get some work done and pick up a few sweet treats! Will definitely consider visiting again when I'm in the Tampa area. read more

I used the Too Good To Go app for Kahwa and got a surprise bag. I went through the drive thru. The barista offered me some water. The other barista was gathering the goodies. I stopped into today with a friend for coffee. We had some time to waste before church and found this close by. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. The baristas were friendly and helped me decide on an iced latte which was delicious. This would be a great coffee shop for getting some work done or meeting up with friends. Having spent my entire life in Tampa, I've observed a consistent deterioration in the standards of Kahwa franchises, both new and established. Despite a year-long absence of no longer going here, my recent visit to this location left me disillusioned once more. Kahwa, once a celebrated coffee destination in South Tampa, has seen its reputation decline over the past four years. The service I received was subpar. I requested my pastries without being warmed, intending to enjoy them later. However, I was left waiting unnecessarily long, only to be given warmed items. Normally, I would have taken the wrong order and left, but this time I insisted on what I had ordered.The staff's unprofessional attitude was evident as they disregarded the time-saving option of not warming pastries and just threw new ones in the bag. Let's not even broach the topic of my iced latte, which contained a significant layer of syrup at the bottom before i began to stir it. Ordering at the drive-thru i hadnt had time to check before I took a sip and was met with a mouthful of pure syrup. The pastries was nothing to run home to either. The croissant was quite small as if it wasnt proofed long enough,there were no layer flakes and was dense. The leak pastry wasn't as bad actually, kind of enjoyed that one a bit. overall i need to remember not to go back here and waste my money because its not the same as before. read more

I always pass Kahwa Coffee when driving and as a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur I decided one day to try it out. I went mid day so maybe that contributed to the fact that it was very quiet and not many people were inside. There was also only one person behind the counter as well who was managing both the drive thru and the front. She was very sweet though and took my order with ease. I just got a vanilla iced coffee and I was impressed. The coffee was main character in the drink and the vanilla did not make it overly sweet which I like. I called to place a catering order. I got placed on hold and got disconnected. I called back and I got a message saying the number could not accept my call. After calling and selecting the catering option twice I called and chose 3 the "bakery associate number". The person answered the phone and said - Hello - I waited for them to say- Thank you for calling Kahwa Coffee. Instead there was just awkward silence finally I said is this Kahwa coffee? And the employee oh yeah it is, I asked if I could please speak with a manager or if a supervisor was available to speak with me. The employee hung up the phone and I tried to call back again and got the same message that the number was not taking calls. I got referred to this coffee place and was very happy to try them out. I'm a GM for a boutique fitness concept we were looking forward to doing "morning coffee with us". I guess we will be going to Starbucks not my favorite but they answer the phone and the job gets done. read more

For the Friday morning I was looking for a coffee shop along with the quick breakfast. So I decided to have coffee and breakfast at Kahwa Coffee. I decided to do a drive through the cafe. For the order I ordered Cafe Mocha, Chai Tea Latte, Croissant and Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwich. I got the order quickly in 5 minutes. The mocha coffee was hot and freshly brewed. I'm glad that there's a local chain coffee place that has a drive thru in South Tampa. That being said, after finally trying Kahwa (I had been on a coffee hiatus for years, and then, well, COVID), it was underwhelming. It's just coffee, no better than Starbucks or Dunkin. I'd rather support other local coffee roasters that have bettter products, like Buddy Brew. This location has a drive thru, and when I went through, it was fast and efficient. Rather than hopping in the drive-through line, I chose to mask up and swing in for a cup of coffee.The counter and dining areas were clean and inviting.There were a few people lounging at the tables outside and at one of the tables inside. The barista warmly greeted me and had such a positive vibe! Even before I drank my first sip of coffee, I felt energized thanks to the barista.
