I visited the Starbucks inside The Harrah's casino in Funner Ca, and my experience was terrible! I ordered a Vanilla sweet cream cold brew and it tasted like absolute MILK, as well as a tall regular cold brew which tasted like iced tea! Later throughout the day since its the only place opened after 8pm to get food, I went down and ordered and everything bagel with cream cheese, I received a PLAIN bagel, without cream cheese. I ordered portobello mushroom egg bites WELL done along with roasted pepper egg whites which was under cooked. Had to request for them to be recooked. Not too mention I was asked for ID using a DEBIT card, NOT credit card. The customers behind me was not asked for no type of identification. I mean why would, or how could I use a DEBIT card without a PIN. Moving forward. They do not wear hairnets! UGH!!! They girls are dealing with food and I know that when working with food hair should be restrained no matter what! Totally unacceptable service !!! read more

I'm definitely a Starbucks fan. My daughter and I came here to get fraps. I got the ultimate caramel frap in tall for my daughter and a strawberry frap in grande for me along with pumpkin bread heated up. The guy helping me was super nice. The line was a little long but went quickly with the help of an extra employee. My drink was good. My daughter enjoyed her ultimate caramel frap. The pumpkin bread is what I enjoyed the most. One of my all time favorites. I should have gotten a pumpkin latte or frap to go along with the bread. Plenty of seating inside but were all taken so we went elsewhere to enjoy our drinks. I absolutely LOVEEEE Starbucks, so when something bad happens at a Starbucks.. all has gone wrong lol. I came by last month to Harrah's for dinner and wanted some late night Starbucks.. thirsty to get my fix.. =P When I ordered my drink, she double checked how I wanted my drink and I told her I wanted the regular iced green tea to be added with soy milk.. NOT MATCHA.. super simple. Then the barista was clarifying the drink with the cashier (which I thought she was going to make right) and they both were giggly, glaring, an gossipy as they knew I was clearly in front of them. Then of course once I picked up my drink I could obviously see it had matcha soy written all over it. I did not complain or ask them to re-do it and dealt with it instead of risking getting more of their attitude or their weird service! Not the cup but the hot water even the sign said cup with water/ice for $1.00 but I don't need a cup. I spend so much on the Starbucks tumbler don't you think hot water is free. When you need a pick me up coffee or snack, this is the place to go. Located off the main casino floor, and hotel entrance, it's a great option before heading out. If you're not in need of a coffee but need a thirst quencher, they have all sorts of teas and juices as well. Open early and closes late, this Starbucks has everything except for a drive thru lol. read more

I'm giving this Starbucks a 4 star rating because it was clean, a decent size, friendly employees so what's not to like? Being out in the middle of nowhere its nice to see a Starbucks and a 7-11 and the things that you see around home. I'm usually not a big fan of this business but when I want a small bite to eat and a hot drink then you can't be picky. Seeing how this Starbucks is inside a casino I wonder if the employees ever get sick of the smoke or if they get paid a little more. I don't want to play the race card. However, I've never felt so humiliated and discriminated against as I did tonight by an Asshole of a server name Juan. And to think Starbucks was recently shutdown by management for diversity training. Juan as well as his co-worker(I didn't get her name) must have missed that class or took the class and didn't give a rats ass of what they learned. I stepped up behind a young lady who's order was just taken. When I was in front of Juan at his register, he looked me dead in my face and never acknowledged my presence. Now mind you my 85yr old mom was at the other end of the counter near the oven where Juan walked over to work at. I said surely he'll acknowledge her presence being that she was a senior and all. Juan looked beyond my mother and handed the order to the lady that was standing behind her! In disbelief my mom looked over at me in pure disgust as we couldn't believe we were both witnessing what was taking place. Were we in rural Mississippi at a white people only place? WTF!!! Here's the kicker. Juan walked right past me while I was still standing at the counter and had been for some minutes now to talk to another employee and she knew we were standing there all that time as well and she never acknowledged us either. I then called over to the server (I didn't know his name at that time) I advised him that I couldn't believe as long as my mom and I were standing there. That he could have at least acknowledged our presence and advised he'd get to us soon. He had this smug look on his face and had the nerve to open his mouth and say, "I was busy" I asked him was he to busy to open his mouth for a couple seconds being that he passed directly in front of us more than once. He said absolutely nothing. I again asked him the question and he replied, "I guess not" I asked him his name(Juan-he stated) I also asked and he said his manager wasn't present. He gave her name as (Hani)? I will NEVER return to this Starbuck ever again. I choose to spend my money where i'm treated with respect and I advise others to do the same. read more

I love that Harrahs added a Starbucks! Granted the coffee they serve here at Harrahs is quite tasty you can never go wrong with a good ole espresso from good ole Starbucks! I was actually rewarded a $10 gift card from one of the kiosks in the casino. Thank you Harrahs-or should I say you're welcome Harrahs... I ordered the trendy pink and purple drinks on my visit. It took longer than expected, as the new employees were trying to figure out what ingredients go where haha I actually enjoyed watching them scramble. I'm sure if I ordered a coffee or even a frap the drinks would've been made and done in a timely manner, but for the newer menu items-patience is a virtue. I also wanna add my review on the pink drink-it's a strawberry acai refresher with coconut milk hmm too sweet for my liking but my friend really enjoyed it. The purple drink (passion iced tea with soy milk and berries) NOT GOOD at all, I'm sure they missed an ingredient in that drink because I've read nothing but rave reviews about it. Mine was bitter and not tasty, that was a waste. Customer service was fine, all employees were nice and kept busy. It is not uncommon to see the line extend to nearly the casino floor. Don't let that fool you though. There are always a sufficient number of employees working so orders are made and handed out with an efficiency that is impressive beyond belief. It was a Saturday night nearing 10p and I was craving a hot chocolate. Thinking that it wouldn't be busy, it was. I ordered a kids hot chocolate ($2). The wait was lengthy considering a small drink order and no wait. It gave me a chance to walk around the new store to check out their goods. I agree with another review here, the employees at this Starbucks are gossipy and unprofessional. The staff seemed to care more about joking around with each other than customers. My cashier was NOT friendly. She was more focused on talking or gossiping with another male barista. I asked for no whip, got whip. Okay, that happens but the story continues. I ordered three items but only got two items. I would have known about the missing item if I got a receipt but the cashier threw it away before I could ask for it. When I reordered the missing item, the cashier made it seem like it was my fault, but she was the one who didn't add it to the order! Back to the no whip part of the story, I mentioned to the barista that I ordered no whip and she SCRAPES off the whip cream. I understand that this might be acceptable to some but..it would have been nice to be asked if scraping it off was okay. What if I was allergic and didn't see that they were scraping it off? So many what ifs. In any case, I feel like this practice of scraping off is very distasteful. Note that this Starbucks charges a little bit more for their items. It's not uncommon for me to experience a price increase at "touristy" locations so I wasn't too surprised about this fact. Part of the huge Harrahs makeover. New, clean and extremely friendly staff, my only complaint was the low inventory of meal items. We came at 8pm on a Thurs and all they had were 4 turkey havarti sandwiches. For a place that closes at midnight and serves a large hotel thats unacceptable. Hopefully they understand the supply and demand and keep better stock. If you want a healthy low cal dinner at Harrahs for less than $10 Id recommend the starbucks--just make sure you get there before 8. :-) read more

OMG. Worst Starbucks I have ever been to and I go to a lot of them. I stayed at Harrahs two nights and came here twice for my morning coffee. First time, I was the only person standing in line with two employees ( a woman and a man) standing there fiddling with money to get change. I finally get noticed for my order. I ordered a coffee and lemon cake. As I was waiting, the woman is having a conversation with the guy bad mouthing a regular customer. She says, "That lady is Always rude to me. I think next time she comes in, I am just not going to notice her and ignore her." I understand at work that you have some crappy people you have to deal with but you NEVER bad mouth a customer in front of other customers. It is just bad etiquette and it creates a bad image for the business. That same girl ignored another customer who had a question as she was walking out because she was out to get change instead of stopping to address the issue. Maybe there is a rule that you cannot conversate with money in hand? but it seemed rude to me. The guy was not very personable either. My lemon cake was so dry on the edges that I wonder how many days it has been sitting??? Second morning was a little busier with 5 people in line. The gal at the register was not much more pleasant either. I had some money on my starbucks gold card but was not sure if I had enough to cover it and told her this to tell me how much I owe. She says $11 something. I asked is that how much I owe or how much I had on the card? she stares at me blankly and I asked again. She says $11. We go around in circles a few more times and finally she says "oh thats how it rings up because a mocha is under the lattes." Really? i order a white mocha every week at Starbucks for years and it has never said Latte on the receipt. Is their register different somehow? I know I got a little pissy with her but it was just too much by that time. Then I notice all the while the manager was there re-arranging the mug display not even realizing this idiocy going on. When you go to certain places, you expect a certain level of service and Starbucks has always been exemplory in choosing good people to represent their company. The average Starbucks employee is above average amongst its industry. Apparently they missed that concept here. Since they remove coffee machines in the room and do not offer room service anymore, getting your morning coffee in this place is a REAL hassle. Hotel guests have to line up for about 30 minutes or more especially in the weekend to get your must have morning coffee at Starbuck downstairs. It seems they do not have enough workers behind the counter. Harrahs created this situation and they should fix this for the convenience of their gambling guests. read more

This is a really convenient place to have a Starbucks since this place is so far away from everywhere. if you're needing some coffee before the long drive home, this a great place to stop by first. It's not that busy here. It's a regular Starbucks with all the same drinks and everything. The prices are the same as other locations. They also have free wifi here as well if you need to connect to the internet for some reason. This place was recently opened up in March 2014. It has a nice location on the way to the new hotel resort tower of Harrah's Resort Southern California. So this place is fairly new and is a good option if you're in need of some coffee. This place is open til 12AM on weekdays and 2AM on weekends. It's nice to have this place open late if you're in real need of some coffee to sober up or just keep you awake on your drive home. I only wish that this place accepted the Harrah's comps to pay for the coffee. But other than that, this place is great! read more

I wanted to let you know that this particular Starbucks inside the casino has a 52% mark up from a regular Starbucks. For example, if your drink is $3.75, you will pay about $5.71. Ouch! Second item worth mentioning, the long wait. Everybody seems busy and hard working here, but there's just too much chaos and people behind the counter seem to be confused a lot. I come to play and stay occasionally so I get the same cold brew coffee morning....vt cold brew coffee with white mocha and cold foam and in the cold foam blend heavy cream with 3 scoops of vanilla powder. But on 11/29/20 the short manager with glasses was making my coffee and was arguing with me saying they couldn't make my cold foam with heavy cream because it wasn't gonna pour out the blender. I told her I've ordered the same drink there and other Starbucks and it hasn't been a issue all the employee does is grab a spoon or spatula to take it out. She kept insisting she couldn't do that and decided to make the coffee i paid for her way. I got my coffee and it didn't have white mocha and told her I asked for white mocha she argued with me on what I ordered and went to the register came back to me and said " well I guess we'll have to make you a new one" with a attitude tone. Told her she was being difficult from the gecko and asked for my money back. It's my drink and I'm paying for it I think I should get what I pay for and that manger should learn better customer service. First the cashier did not use my reward credit that I asked her to (she charged it to my room) Ok not a big deal but I noticed when I went over my credit card statement that I paid $23.06!
