I usually don't write reviews on big franchises but last week I came to this Starbucks to do homework and I needed a some caffeine to keep me awake. I was welcomed with a warm smile and friendly banter by Emma the barista. I ended up getting an ice pumpkin spice chai with oatmilk. It was my first time getting the drink so I didn't know what it was really supposed to look like or have in it so I drank it with no complaints. A couple minutes later, Emma comes by and apologies and mentioned she noticed that I didn't have cold foam on top and gave me another drink free of charge. I honeslty thought it was so sweet. Honestly, every time I come here it's too drive-through usually fairly quickly. Also, the people who work the drive-through are extremely nice. No complaints here. We stopped here to grab a snack in preparation for a long drive. It was convenient that I could order online and pick up through the drive thru. It took about 5 minutes to get through the drive thru, with 2 cars in front of us. Once we rolled up to the window, we waited a minute while they took inside orders. Then they were out of the dark chocolate covered graham crackers I ordered so they could either provide me with store credit or they offered dark chocolate almonds so I took those instead. Then I enjoyed my banana bread loaf which is the only reason I ever stop at Starbucks, and it was as good as always. This location is very clean and sheikly designed. read more

Though they're right on Victoria, if you're coming from the south, entering off Moon Drive is the way to go. Meandering through the parking lot for nearby businesses, we eventually made it to the section of parking lot designed for this Starbucks location. The way that entrance is designed makes this feel like an after-the-fact build. It does have a drive-thru. Not my favorite location in terms of décor. It's one of the plainest 'Bucks that I've seen for the interior. It looks like they have an outdoor patio to the side that might be a nice place to hang out when it's warm or the sun is shining. Inside, it's wide and shallow - very stretch out side to side. The condiments area was empty of everything, so we had to request napkins, Stevia, and a stirrer at the counter. Not sure if they had it all picked up due the hour of night, or whether this is permanent. If the latter, that could get hectic when they're really busy - having to take time to serve sugar and napkins or straws while also juggling taking orders and serving them. The crew was friendly, and working efficiently. They kindly let us know that the lobby would close at 9 p.m., giving us plenty of heads up on the timing. Our sweet treats and mocha latte were just right for a cool winter's evening. Other Yelpers have mentioned how busy they get, which is understandable, being so close to the 101 freeway at the Victoria exit. Plan accordingly, depending on time of day. read more

Standard Starbucks that looks like it use to be a bank or built to look like the shell of a bank! Very nice modern look! Has a cool drive through! Also a small seating area inside and a patio outside! On a nice day I suggest the cute patio area but it is iff a busy street! Employees are quite friendly at the Starbucks! They are always out of everything and apparently even if you order a high dollar amount or lots of drinks they are "only allowed to give tall cups of water". I had no idea the Starbucks location existed. I'm in this area all the time for work and I suppose I never noticed it being here. I've been to some of the other food establishments north of here but I was shocked to see that there was a Starbucks location here. There is a drive-thru here and I can see I can be a little bit tricky due to the flow of traffic because the parking lot is a little bit narrow and there can be a lot of congestion getting through the area. Maybe it's not too bad during busy times. But overall, the team is pretty friendly and I was able to get in and out of the store fairly quickly so it wasn't too bad. Normally I like to play some mobile orders but the time I ordered in the store. I always like to try the seasonal drinks here and with it being in the fall time I ended up getting pumpkin spice latte because I am a basic b. Download the mobile app so you can place orders and quickly pick up your drinks without having to wait in the store. What a surprise that this place exists and I thought I hit up most stores in the area already. read more

I love the staff here! They're so welcoming, energetic, and kind. I love the building of this Starbucks and it's a perfect place to study since the bar is a little far from the seating area, less distracting. I love the sunlight that comes through the windows! One thing I will say is the parking is very compact and small so plan to come when rush hour is over! ;) I've been pleased with every drink I've ordered so far. No complaints! read more

I honestly don't understand why this location has such low ratings. My experiences with this locale have always been pleasant ones. The baristas are always friendly even when they are really busy. Always smiling and being courteous. Depending on the time of day the line may be long, but they move pretty quickly. My drinks are always prepared just right. I have only walked in once and the space is very open and clean. I always go on the drive-through. The mural on the side of the building when you wait is beautiful to look at. And the live hanging garden on the wall is also a peaceful touch. read more

This Starbucks location is newly opened since last month. My husband, our little girl dog and I stopped by this place two Sundays ago, coming back from a road trip in central California. One negative of this Starbucks is the limited parking lot. Also if you drive a big car (truck for example), parking may be rather challenging. But this Starbucks does have a drive thru (but there was rather a long line during our visit). My husband ended up ordering a hot grande caramel latte and one puppuccino for our little girl. A puppuccino is a small cup of whipped cream that is free for your 4 legged little friend. I didn't feel like having anything so I didn't get a beverage. It surprised us that the wait time for my husband's drink seemed to have taken longer than expected (please note that the employee taking our order at the register filled up a tiny cup with whipped cream and gave that to us right away). But I think because of the large number of people in the drive thru, that may have slowed them down. It did appear that there was a dedicated staff just for drive thru orders and separate staff for in store orders. Service was friendly when we ordered and when we did eventually pick up our drink order. Since we weren't in a hurry, it didn't really bother us that we had to wait for the latte. After that, we just sat outside on the dog friendly patio to relax after a long drive. Being that this place is rather new, I am sure it will take some time for the staff to find the right speed and rhyme to handle all of these orders via drive thru and in store. I suggest don't come here if you are in a hurry and also don't come here in a large truck if you plan on going inside to order your beverage. The 2 unisex restrooms upon this visit was okay but could have used more toilet paper and could have had the trash cans emptied a bit earlier (yep I used both restrooms during this visit. Once when we arrived and one more time before leaving since Ventura is still roughly an hour away from my home). I like the decor of the drive thru with the garden wall and the bright colored walls by the ordering area. This location has really bad service time. We recently visited and waited 10 minutes for black coffee. That's right, for black coffee! We have visited this location multiple times and consistently received very very slow service. There's something wrong with their espresso at this location. Every time I've gone recently, it tastes SUPER watered down. They might have to take a look at their espresso machine because it doesn't taste right. Also they continue to give me almond milk instead of oat on accident. I don't have this issue at other locations so I'm not sure why the coffee drinks tastes weird here. Their iced teas/refreshers taste normal. read more

This used to be my go to Starbucks in Ventura, but since they have relocated I cannot go here anymore. Great staff but the water tastes different and a lot of the time is murky. When you mention it you are told it's due to the high water pressure in Ventura. Apparently this staff member hasn't visited other Ventura locations because this isn't the case. And it most certainly wasn't the case at the previous site. It's sad, but there is even a change in the staff demeanor. Jonathan and Michael are great and know their customers but otherwise not so much. I wish this store the best and will check back every few months or so, otherwise not going to waste my money or time. read more

I know, I know... Starbucks.... But here is the back-story. Wifey were coming back home from a New Year's Eve celebration the night before. We were still over an hour and half from home, but Wifey wanted a cup of coffee. Our first attempt was at a Starbucks in Camarillo, listed as "open" (even with recent updated Holiday hours posted no-less!) But it was closed. So I found this one on Victoria via YELP. We pulled up and I could see the drive-through was jumping/busy, so inside went Wifey. There was moderate floor traffic/attendance by indoor customers, but yet, after a friendly greeting, order taken and less than 60-seconds later, Wifey had our drinks; yes, less than 60-seconds. We've never had that happen at ANY Starbucks. They did not have our drinks pre-made, we did not use the order/app. Wifey ordered and BAM, there we were made right before her eyes and then we were right back onto Hwy. 101, heading home with our happy coffee-faces! read more

I really just don't understand the low reviews for Starbucks! I may just not be a coffee snob, but I feel $2.45 for a large cup of coffee is beyond reasonable. On this visit I stopped at the Ventura Moon street location and had an amazing experience, great customer service, consistent quality of the product and I was in and out in a very timely manner! I'd say the visit was even better because at the last min the barista realized she forgot the cinnamon on top and took a small cup and dusted cinnamon into it so we could have the cinnamon still.
