I ordered a venti iced drink and spent almost $7 on it. I requested light ice because I'm tired of this Starbucks packing the cup to the brim with ice resulting in about 4 ounces of actual coffee. The picture I attached shows a significant amount of coffee missing due to my request for light ice. I specifically asked the barista where the rest of the coffee was and she said that's what happens when I order light ice. This is a complete waste of money. read more

This location is new. They moved from being near the Shoprite to across the street from Chipotle. Same shopping center, different storefront. Solid service, large location, good parking and clean. My drink was as expected and was prepared timely, but I did arrive before the mid-Sunday morning rush. The new Starbucks are a little cold in appearance and in temperature. The individual working the counter was supposed to be on break. She made sure to let me know this when I requested she pick up my ready for pick up breakfast sandwiches sitting on the counter behind her in a pile of similarly ready sandwiches. I had no intention of escalating this conflict in anyway. But when she said they weren't ready and I responded by showing the app showing them ready for pickup she got loud and rude and stated they were super backed up. The kicker is the sandwiches were ready and were sitting in that pile. I'd just avoid this Starbucks as there are so many in the area and this is the first negative experience I've had. Took nearly 30 mins to get a chai latte, which takes 2 minutes to make. 6 workers, nobody on the line ahead of us when we arrived. 20 mins into waiting and seeing groups who came after us getting their very complicated pink drinks and snacks, my wife asked about the status of her chai latte. She was told "its a REALLY long wait" with clear F U attitude. I get it, its busy and the staff is stressed, but it was clear they forgot her drink. So we waited... and waited... and waited... until we were the only ones in Starbucks - standing there in front of the pick-up counter. And finally they realized they'd forgotten to make her drink. They couldn't even be honest, and angrily blamed it on someone stealing her drink. Yeah, that didn't happen because we watched every single other drink get picked up. I have a feeling we would've gotten served faster if we'd gone through the drive-thru instead of going inside. But I'd never try this location again. I went through the drive through on May 23, 2025. I ordered a venti tea latte. When i arrived at the pick up window and was handed my drink. I immediately noticed that it wasn't a latte. I told the employee that the drink was wrong; it should've been a latte. The employee was very young - I'd say 18-20 - and she reacted with a very condescending "Love, I absolutely assure you that the drink is a latte" accompanied by a roll of her eyes. I opened the lid and showed her. No apology. She just snatched it from me. I'm trying to excuse her condescending behavior to her immaturity but maybe Starbucks needs to vet their employees more thoroughly before allowing them direct contact with customers. read more

So I've made a post on here about how one of the workers here were nasty but here's a new one again. The other day, when I ordered my drink, I asked if it could be made with lemonade. The woman taking my order responded with attitude and said, "It's made with lemonade, that's why it's called that." I was honestly shocked and said ok I'm sorry and shut my mouth and I ignored it and went on with my day. Today, I came back, stayed quiet and simply ordered the drink without mentioning lemonade at all cause I didn't need additude from anyone just wanted my drink and to leave and go on about my day. When I got it, it was made with water which I didn't get upset about only confused because of how mean the lady was to me the day prior for asking otherwise. I didn't want to deal with another attitude so I politely explained to the person handing it to me why I hadn't asked and He was very kind and understanding but you could tell he felt nervous or stressed and I felt so bad but I didn't want him feeling like he did anything wrong or something and he fixed the situation with the drinks without a issue. Even he acknowledged that the other employee from before after I explained what happened had been rude for no reason which was true after I explained. He was patient and kind with me which was nice and fixed the situation, give the kid a raise even though I think it's his day lol. I'm not someone who tries to make a problem here but at this point, the attitude coming from certain staff members really needs to be addressed and it seems to be mainly the woman here, It's uncomfortable for customers and unfair to the employees who are doing their job with kindness every time a girl is nasty to me here there's always a guy who's workin with them that are kind and respectful and that's the main reason I come back is because of there cowker being nice and you can even see they hate working with them. You guys need to have a meeting about peoples attitude here, Everyone has bad days but This seems nonstop or bad timing with people who are angry while working idk. Fist time here & my first pumpkin spice latte of the season! They have a large open seating area which was nice and they made me a great drink. No complaints. It is in a shopping center & there's a shop-rite next to it incase you want to shop for other things :) read more

Not a terrible Starbucks location. They have nice midsized tables where you can work at with your computer if you wanted to. A few couches with small tables. My only complaint is it felt dirty. Some people simply are pigs by nature so during my visit I sat on a couch with trash along the windowsill I sat near. Straw wrappers and old beverages just left on the windowsill with no respect for cleanliness or the employees who have to clean up after those slobs. NJ slobs aside, it's not a bad location. Food is good as it is a chain. The service in store how ever is not great. If placing order in store be ready to take a seat and wait a good 10-15 minutes for your order. Your best bet is a mobile order or drive through those two have been my best experiences at this location read more

I went today at around 6pm and asked my drink to be with no inclusions. when the drink was handed to me there was berries when i asked for none so i told the worker (Adam) and he looked at me like it was my fault like i am not the one paying for the drink. than my boyfriend got a strawberry açaí with lemonade and it was 100% made with water and he denied and then shut the window. this was very rude, he acted like it was my fault?!! read more

Convenient to go to if you are already in the area, maybe at the Shoprite in the next lot or visiting one of the other businesses (CVS, the laundry place, TJ Maxx, etc.) housed in the strip mall where this Starbucks is located. Mobile order pick ups are towards the back of the store. Consistently good with making coffee drinks. There is a good amount of seating here if you want to sit and stay. read more

I've had to get a refund after waiting over 30 minutes because I had to pick my nephew at school. I left and came back and my order was sitting there. I have been going to this Starbucks for AGES and I cannot stress enough how unprofessional the staff has gotten over the years. I had to wait 30 minutes for my coffee today, mind you, they were backed up, but talking to their friends who come in for 10+ minutes definitely doesn't speed up the process. I am NEVER one to speak to management or write reviews in general, but today that changed. The staff speaks poorly about the customers RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM!! myself being one of those customers. I have given so much money to this establishment and have supported it for so long now, it is very disappointing to see the behavior I saw today from the staff. Safe to say, you might be better off going to Dunkin because even after speaking to the manager and getting my drink, it did not taste good at all. I have never written a review about a Starbucks before. Being a chain, I know that the quality is usually much the same from store to store. Not today. I went in today and ordered two drinks and two pieces of pumpkin bread. My daughters hot chocolate was fine. My decaf mocha latte was not. It had no coffee in it. Just hot water, milk and chocolate syrup. There were like five kids working back there and I know it was busy, but the wait for my order took way too long. The first drink came up after about 10 minutes and then my "Latte" came up 5 minutes later. That would have been ok if the drink I had been looking forward to didn't taste like milky chocolate water. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations to get lattes from. They do a great job making the drinks and never complain when you ask questions or for suggestions. The location is smaller than most Starbucks locations but well worth the wait. I also really appreciate how clean this location is. As long as you know the off-peak times, this Starbucks is one of the better ones in my opinion. As a nursing student AND a mother to a 10-month old it's very nice to be able to go somewhere quiet to do work. When I come here on certain nights there's enough room and quietness to be able to do my work! This location went through renovations which was a major upgrade. They added some lounge chairs, a sofa, and some wood table high tops. On weekday nights and weekends however, there's still not enough room to chill out here even though I know the layout would allow better space planning to accommodate more people. This location is kept very clean and the self-serve area is stocked. The staff likes to go above and beyond for their "regulars"...i.e. have their orders ready for them as soon as they see them walk through the door. This has pros and cons. One con which I experienced this morning. I stood at the front of the line for a couple of minutes (which can seem like an hour in a Starbucks) waiting for someone to take my order. I realized that three employees were getting drinks ready for guys that walked in after me. If I was running late I would've been a bit annoyed but I took a patient yogi breath and waited for my turn to feed my coffee addiction. read more

Just walked out...This place is bad. I walked in the place was filthy !!! I went to the counter the girl looked like she was hung over couldn't understand one word she was saying. I asked her for a green peach tea lemonade. She said what size? I told her grande, and she stared at me again...I then said medium ....? She stares and then she says we are out of stock. I feel like the recent updated remodel of this location deserves my first updated review! In the last 6 months, this Starbucks has overtaken all others as my favorite go-to location. It's my home base. The baristas are delightfully friendly, always smiling & oh-so-good at making my (embarrassingly) complicated drink of choice. Last month, I noticed the beginnings of their remodel. Today, I stepped into a calm coffee oasis! Seriously, my stress level dropped 3 points when I walked through those glass doors. The highlight is three new raised tables, built into three bookcases along the wall, and fitted with comfortable metal chairs. The old comfy leather couch was replaced by a new couch with sleek modern lines, across from a pair of matching lounge chairs. Overall, the seating has at least doubled - if not more - yet the space feels more open. Even the main bar area has been updated and refreshed. The back wall has a new splash of wallpaper, and the counter looks more earthy with wood accents. When I complimented the barista on the new look, she said, "Isn't it beautiful? It feels so fresh in here." I couldn't agree more. read more

Gosh, I hate leaving bad reviews. But I've been in here one too many times to just keep quiet today I ordered an iced coffee with honey and cocoa powder. Of course they looked at me like I had three heads especially when they have made this order before.. of course she didn't know what I was talking about because it's such a difficult order.. so she gave me four packets of honey and pointed me to the condiments table where I can apply my own chocolate powder. Now I have to come back home and blend the stuff up. This is absolutely the last time I'll be stopping in this location there is Dunkin' Donuts is right across the street. No added anything just give me my strong black ice tea. Twice ive had it sweetened. once given to me as a black iced coffee and once as a lemonade tea. How hard is it to screw up a PLAIN black iced tea. TWICE they have set my tea cup on the back counter and filled orders that were placed after me. Considering how SLOW they are always this was just finger nails on a chalkboard. An iced tea takes 20 seconds! I lose my patience every time i come in. I'm actually unsure as to why this Starbucks has such a low rating. I've been coming here since high school and I've never really had a bad experience. Granted, I usually go when there's practically no line, but even if it was busy, I'd be pretty understanding if it took a little while to get my drink. I mean, the people complaining on here that it was really busy and the service was "slow," seriously? Why are you complaining about slow service when you knew perfectly well that the baristas were making 10 other drinks on top of yours? Anyway, yes, some of the baristas are a bit slow, I will say that, but it has never been to the point of me being outwardly frustrated. I like coming to this Starbucks. They have multiple chairs and armchairs, and the café is always clean. I would recommend this place to you ONLY if you are patient enough for it. This place can get quite busy as it is located in West Caldwell. There is A LOT of traffic in that area at certain parts of the day, so don't go here if you're in a rush. read more
