So, a guy I know really likes coffee shops and this location is one of his favorites. I, personally, am not a fan of this location, but it has very little to do with the service we've received. My biggest complaint about this is the location. It's hard to get into and out of, the drive-thru is tiny and makes the parking next to Starbucks hard to navigate. The outdoor seating is basically a view of the drive-thru and a busy street. It's also sits dangerously close to the cars going in and out of the parking lot/drive-thru-- not thanks, I'll sit inside. Parking on the Chipotle side is a bit easier, but there's still limited parking during peak times and it's not always easy to get back out to the street. The inside is a bit better, but it's a very small location. There's some bench seating with tall chairs and some normal size tables that fit a few people each, but I imagine on a busy day during peak time, it would be hard to find a seat! Even when it's been half filled at 6:30 at night or later, I've felt like I was right on top of people or that I was bothering those who came to work by talking. All in all, it's just not my favorite feeling and it has a lot to do with how small this place really is compared to other locations. As far as the staff, they've always been very kind and helpful. We've never received anything other than what we asked. Starbucks doesn't have a ton of tea options, so I'm basically stuck with choosing between black or green tea, but usually, the guy I'm with orders more complicated things and he's never had any problems with them. So, basically the main failures of this Starbucks come from the location, not the staff or service. read more

Sweet little Starbucks. Next to Chipotle, this location has a couple comfy chairs and a few tables for coffee dates. Out front is a shaded patio with plenty of extra seating. The baristas are great. The older lady that took my order reminded me of my grandmother -- soft-spoken and happy to be there. And when a giant wasp threatened me while working on my laptop, a couple of the workers rallied together to capture and get rid of it. I also had a few pleasant exchanges with several other customers, which added to the whole sweet experiences. Customer service is great, the drive-thru line can get pretty long but it moves quick. Every time I've been here my orders have been made consistently. Whenever I go to restaurants, I look for consistency, I want my orders to made the same way every time even if there's different people making it. I've been to other Starbucks and my favorite drink always tasted different than the last time, and for how much I'm paying for it, it's a let down. Absolutely amazing service today through drive through! I was doing my partner beverage mark out and I always skip getting my food mark out because I don't want to inconvenience the workers. The girl at the window noticed I only got a drink and offered if I wanted to use my food mark out too! I felt super comfortable and taken care of at this location the 2 woman and the one man who took care of me (I forgot their names but all talked to me) are angels! I don't even think I have received this level of positive treatment at my own store the workers truly made my day better! I get an iced venti 1 pump classic passion tea lemonade. 50 percent of the time I leave with just a passion tea. I drink Americanos multiple times per day. Last week I ordered a Americano at the Starbuck in West Dundee. I received a black drip coffee. The drip coffee has a distinct bitter taste. I returned today because of the geographical convenience and ordered an Americano. Again, I received a drip coffee. Besides the taste, there is no crema on top of dripped coffee. This Starbucks charged for Americanos but gives cheaper drip coffee. Its a bait and switch and it is criminal! read more

At this location I was stuck behind some train wreck who clearly crawled out of a cave yesterday. She even turned her car OFF at the window to cream and sugar her coffee that she ordered black! I ordered a "small" and she didn't even correct me with the Starbucks non-nomenclature. Wow! I assume this is a fire-able offense, so I hope she didn't get in trouble for it. This location would benefit by having better listening skills. I have been visiting this location for years, and seem to never learn my lesson. My drink is a simple vanilla iced coffee w soy milk, and 2x out of 7 they put whole milk, or cream, or nonfat milk in it instead of soy milk. It is so aggravating to pay for a service and continually be given other people's drinks, or for mine to be made completely wrong. I just don't get why they repeat the order correctly, but then type in something different. When I look forward to the sbux experience, but then 28% of the time it is wrong, I keep gambling. Not only do I gamble w if they will get the order correct, but I gamble when I take a sip out of a drink that is incorrect and forget to bring my epi pen. I am a MAJOR Starbucks drinker. I have a coffee from there at least once, if not twice a day and I'm also a rewards member so yea, I'm pretty much a Starbucks addict. I have been to this Starbucks only a few times and out of all those few times it's always been through the drive thru and I always got the same lady and she is always so nice. Today, I decided to go inside and order while my boyfriend was outside checking something with his truck. I went inside and went directly up to the counter cause I knew exactly what I wanted. There were two guys and two girls working. The two guys were making drinks and one of the girls was at the drive thru. The second girl came out from the back of what I'm assuming is the storage room. She went up to the girl that was working the drive thru and started talking to her. For the next 5 minutes she proceeded to talk to her and no one came up to tell me to, "please hold on a second." or "someone will be with you shortly." I know 5 minutes doesn't seem like a long time but, I was the only customer inside besides two other girls who had already gotten their drinks. It should of took less than a minute for someone to notice that I was there. Finally one of the guys came up and asked if I had been helped. I placed my order and went down to the end to wait for my drink. While I was waiting for my drinks, the two girls that were in the store went up to the guys and said, "thank you for remaking my drink." and they goofed around a little and the two girls left. After the girls left, the two guys used their drive thru headsets (that they were wearing) to talk to each other about the body features of the two girls that just left and one of the girls joined in on the conversation. So overall, The drinks were good but the service was horrible and the employees were completely unprofessional. If you are the type of person that loves getting good customer service, don't go here. Horrendous Customer Service, especially from the Supv. Pat!!! We had picked up 3 drinks on our way to Heritage fest from Randall location(by xpress way) and they were awful after a few sips so the Closest Starbucks to get a remake was this one in west Dundee, by the fest. Pat refused to remake them & only said he would do one of them because it wasn't their mistake, but we are THREE people and only one can have a drink made correctly???!? Excuse me, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Starbucks PROMiSE company wide? He said Amy his manager would be in tomorrow, how does that help us now, and that he has no IDEA what the Regional phone number was & for us to GOOGLE it. WoW! I'm thinking he is just very rude, or needs more training! We went back to the original location on Randall, completely out of our way, and the Supv. on duty was wonderful & could not wait to remake ALL three drinks & told us that should have NeVer happened & they should all have each other's backs, just like I thought. read more
