(A young lady with blonde hair) Today was the new launch of the Starbucks Bear barista cups. there was at least 12 people in line, this poor girl who was first in line was just waiting for the doors to open, she decides to say a rude comment out loud, And decides as soon as the doors open to cut this poor girl who was in line first just to buy 2 of those barista bear cups herself. I thought it was very unprofessional of her and rude to say something outloud I also believe it was highly rude to talk to poor customers like that and allow that behavior in the workforce. I hope she understands the difference between professionalism and unprofessionalism is. And work on her attitude as well. Also is that how barista workers function during a release day? read more

I feel for any Starbucks stores that are right off of highways. This being one of them. It means they are always understaffed and overwhelmed. This store does the best they can giving the circumstances. The drinks are fresh. The store is always clean. I love this location. Would highly recommend! read more

Coffee in the morning is good but it's doesn't mean after you pay, you have to wait another 15 minutes or more. I been this place for long time ,COVID or NON COVID I never have have problem I go in pay and 5 minutes my order is done, but this visit there's a guy waiting for a long time for his "REGULAR"coffee and how much more my latte (with extra shot) It will take forever, they are more focus on people who order In app than people who come in and pay. This is insane for a coffee, this will be my last visit on STARBUCKS never again, I rather go locals coffee shop and support small business. I love this Starbucks! It's the one closest to me and everyone there is always so friendly. I tend to mobile order more often than not, and the drinks are always made perfectly. It's clean, the staff seem to be friendly with each other which is always nice to see, and it's just a great place overall. Today they made my day by putting this cat sticker on my mobile order. Maybe doesn't seem like the biggest thing but I had a bad morning and this honestly made it so much better! Love this place!! read more

If I could rate no stars I would have. My friends and I mobile ordered two drinks and two bakery items because we were picking them up on the way to school and we were running a little late. I ordered a tall brown sugar shaken espresso with pumpkin cold foam. I paid an extra $1 for cold foam and did not receive it and sadly I didn't say anything because the other drink we ordered was a hot caramel macchiato with almond milk and they accidentally made it cold. It was like 40 degrees this morning and my friend did not want a cold drink so we mentioned to her that it was supposed to be a hot caramel macchiato as indicated on the sticker. We weren't mad, it's an understandable mistake. She rolls her eyes and says she will make another one. Seemed like an odd way for her to react being that it was there mistake. Once she made it she just put the cup down in a mad manner and goes "you have to throw that one out or take it because we can't take it back" we said okay and just took it because we aren't going to through out a perfectly fine drink, seemed like a waste and she showed that she was not happy about it. Did not feel like our satisfaction was priority and it is sad to see because there are a lot of workers at this location that are positive and great at what they do. They used to be great but the last few times I went forced me to rate them at 2 stars. I love their app so I always order online because I don't like waiting 35 minutes for a coffee. I ordered a frapp that's on the menu...if its on the menu, all employees should know how to make it. I got there about 6-8 minutes after I ordered. I asked the girl if she had my mobile order and she said ugh sorry, I don't know how to make that - can u look up the recipe? Wtf? Annoyed but I did it - took me all of 2 seconds to Google the recipe and gave it to her. Not for nothing but I'm 98% sure she has her cell phone on her...she could've just as easily looked it up and made the drink. I waited another 10 minutes for my mobile order.... Walked in tonight and the label was stuck to the wall. For real?! And I came after 10 minutes. Waited another 5 minutes for him to make my drink which forced me to write this review. Last time I checked, it's not that hard to brew 6 shots of espresso, mix that with 6 pumps of vanilla, shake and serve. So I guess my confusion is where the barista with the "holier than thou" attitude has the nerve to get all pissy as if I'm bothering her to make the drinks in the first place. I know that the doubleshots are a little on the cumbersome side as far as drinks go but umm, it's your job. Also, while I'm on a rant, could you please not just get one but both of them right when I order two of these, that'd be extra helpful. Oh and just a little tip for the barista who thinks she works in *the* best Starbucks in New Haven county, I'm sure corporate would frown on your exposed tattoos, bad attitude, and the fact that you were blaring Ice Cube since the Starbucks station was down. One of the best locations I've been to. The manager is on top of inventory and they are never out of anything. With a black card your name is on it - this is the first location who has looked at my card and called me by name!!! What service!!! They also keep pumpkin spice longer for their customers! I hadn't been here in about 6 months. On a recent visit, the loud and irritating supervisor thankfully wasn't there, although no idea if that's a permanent change or that I just happened to be in when he wasn't around. Unfortunately, one big change from the past - the place was filthy. The milk and sugar station, the tables, and especially the carpeted seating area (now highly stained) - all just a mess. Meanwhile, the 3 women "working" here were just goofing around behind the counter, with me as the only customer. I'm being generous by giving this Starbucks three stars. They have a prime location right off 95, which is ideal for customers who are looking for a quick cup of coffee before hitting the road again. The problem, however, is that the staff here is anything but quick. They move at a snail's pace, and it can be incredibly frustrating because their lack of urgency doesn't reflect the customers' necessity of needing to get back to their journeys. Great location right off the highway, lots of space to sit without feeling claustrophobic, lots of light through the windows. Staff is super friendly and the girl we encountered last time rang up each drink separate so we could get the stars. For being an off the highway location, I'd expect them to be a bit less friendly, but not at all the case. I'd highly recommend here since they're super clean as well and then you can jump right on the Post Road without having to actually stop at a Bucks on it. read more

Before I dive into details, this is by far the absolute worst Starbucks I have ever been to and here is why: It's Christmas time, and the peppermint mocha latte is one of their highly advertised drinks (and not to mention my favorite). Upon attempting to order it, I'm told they do not have the peppermint syrup to make it. Bummer. So I proceed to order a cinnamon dolce latte. Upon attempting to order that, I'm told they don't have cinnamon. Morning fix. Easy on/off 95. They're open early as well. Only knock is the entrance to parking lot is poorly marked. When you combine that with a normally dim lit Starbucks building it's easy to miss the entrance. read more

I went to this Starbucks location on September 15th, 2017 and was so disappointed to find out that Starbucks had discontinued the Peach syrup. I'm not a coffee drinker and only found that their Peach Green Tea Lemonade to be delicious. There was a wonderful barista with dirty blonde hair and pink glasses who offered to make a drink for me, no charge, to see if this would change my mind about only liking one drink at Starbucks. The drink was very good, Passion Tango Tea with Raspberry Syrup, and I'm thankful that she was willing to let me try this drink. I wish all baristas were willing to be as adaptable as she was. This is someone who should be rewarded for her excellent customer service. read more
