I go between this location and the one at 95 & Okeechobee. The latter was typically my favorite when I started going there a lot when this location stopped serving the pistachio latte. When I tell you that thing had me in a chokehold! I'd hate to go in the app and sum how much I spent on it. So damn good, why is it seasonal SB? I love weekends at Starbucks to chill, work, people watch. This location plays the best music! I mean jamming, JAMMING! The staff is overall good, some friendlier than others. One needs a bit education because it was an ordeal getting a refill of caffe misto. It's specifically stated in the policy so I was slightly annoyed but after a bit, it worked out with help from others. I've seen them singing, dancing, sometimes talking too much while making my drink lol; so they seem to get along. My drinks have been good, when I need something additional, they never have attitude. Never witnessed any bad interactions and I've been in there hours on end! I love having a Starbies within walking distance. My wallet, not so much! read more

Just popped in to grab a coffee after dinner. The shift supervisor Ernie was probably the most polite store manager I have ever met. He took my order & added some comedy into the coffee selection. He was also busy cleaning and making sure the food presentation box was up to par. The gal made my coffee and he wasn't sure if he heard her say decafe so just in case he said let's just remake it! I go to this place all the time as it is close to my work. Today I placed an order of dragon drink with a customization, coconut milk instead of regular milk. The barista seemed kind of lost in the middle when she made it as I was watching. Something seemed off, so I asked her if she made it with coconut milk as I requested on the order. She confirmed it was, I trusted her and left. As soon as I had a few sips I had a reaction, that it upset my stomach. Then I noticed the drink was curdling. So at this point I'm sure it's not coconut milk but regular milk. So I went back and explained the situation, all I was expecting was a little understanding. But she didn't even apologize but had an attitude and acted like I was dumb and she insisted she made it with coconut milk. It is my health that's in question. I'm lactose intolerant, when I asked for coconut milk I was not being fancy, it's because I can't have regular milk. Please educate your employees about this matter, because what if I'm really allergic to dairy? Thank god it's not life threatening. I'm not going back to this place if this is how much they care about people's health, it's a nope for me! It's not a joke. read more

Writing this review while I'm currently still here. Everything was going great; great seating (indoor and outdoor), service was friendly and fast. However, while sitting here, all of a sudden a huge cockaroach/Waterbug appears and it's starting to run around from the barista area down to the seating area. I amongst many, followed the little critter with my eyes as it moved, you know, in case it ran towards me. But huge props to the one staff who decided to chase after it and kill it. I understand bugs are common, but at a food and drink establishment, sanitary conditions are the top priority. Seeing this really makes you think twice about the upkeep of the store. I get the cold brew with the cold foam which is denser and sweeter than the regular latte foam. Air-conditioning was ice cold, outlets at every table so I could charge up my gadgets. But it was VERY noisy in there and had some trouble taking phone calls from customers with the racket in the background. The bathrooms have a code so you need to grab that from a barista on the way back. read more

Honestly, it's not the cleanest, it's not the most well maintained. I often see cool homeless people sitting around and the place is tiny with limited seating. But the staff here is awesome. Every Time. So friendly, never messes up the order and one time I forgot my wallet and they covered my coffee and my food order!! The young lady said "we see you all the time!" "It's all good." Wow I'm sadly not alone in my experience. Stopped in on a sunday night with 4 family members. I ordered an iced tea which should have been ready first, but nope. All 4 hot drinks were ready first and my iced tea took almost 15 minutes. No joke. Long enough for me to take 2 work calls, a few text messages and emails! I treated my family members because they had been spoiling me all weekend. What a great experience, holding them up waiting for iced tea! Seriously get your act together! Just go next door to Rocco's and order an iced tea they can probably make guac faster than starbucks can make a latte! read more

Never reviewed a Starbucks before because to me they are all the same. However, the customer service at this one was excellent. It seemed like the majority of the staff were new and little bit slow, but one of the team members, Timmy, took control. He said hello to every single person that walked in. Assisted with all orders, and seemed to be running the operation by himself. He was probably the most efficient, polite and hardworking person I have ever seen at Starbucks. read more

I live near by and we bring our boat to the city a few times a month. Several times this location says one thing and does a different. What it says on the app as far as opening or even on the window front you can not rely on. Call them ahead to be sure they are open because this morning I walked there at 6 days on the app and window they open at 5 but no not until 6:30. Just ordered a triple espresso over ice with caramel drizzle. Walked back in for extra caramel drizzle and one of the employees (older gentleman) was super friendly and charismatic as he joked around with me about the extra caramel sauce. First off they do not greet their customers and do not acknowledge you till you're in front with payment ready. Ive been skipped in line a few times by their regulars and it gets irritating when that happens. I spoke up the 3rd time it happened and they were really indifferent and didnt apologized just asked rudely what i wanted so they can expedite me out of their store they didnt even want to hear why i was upset. Its not what i expect from a walk in starbucks. Ive worked at a drive thru 5 years back and weve never handled a customer like they did. It is pretty sad how they've lowered standards of customer service. After talking to the district manager about what happened he assured me that it won't happen again. Now all the employees snicker and make fun whenever I show up. Even the store manager Kay when leaving said "bye have a nice day! Now get out" apparently she thought I didn't hear her. When I moved here in February I thought It would be great to be able to walk to this Starbucks. I live 4 blocks away. Well was I disappointed. This location is very unwelcoming. Staff was great overall but the manager is not and she went out of her way to ignore me. She is the reason I stopped going here. Now I get in my car at 6AM and drive a couple miles to the Starbucks on Okee. This location and partners represent the Starbucks Brand in the spirit that the company intends. My $2000 a year now goes to a far more deserving Starbucks that I love going to. read more

Literally cannot even handle the smell of this place anymore. It is no longer a neighborhood coffee stop, but a full on place of refuge for WPB's disturbed homeless population. Last week I gagged from the smell of BO, urine, stale cigarettes and booze as I opened the front door, which continued as I stood in line, except inside it's mixed with whatever sewage problem the building has. No way should anyone be consuming food or drink from this place. It is filthy, and I've seen a few vagrants (sorry, it is what it is) go nuts when they alleged they were overcharged for their tea. I cannot say enough great things about this Starbucks location. First off my name is Chris and I am homeless, a lot of businesses have kicked me out and I get dirty looks from people all the time. From the moment I stepped into this Starbucks I felt welcome. The staff is hardworking, friendly and dedicated. You can tell they get along with each other really well. There is one manager in particular who goes above and beyond he is kind, caring and you can tell the employees really like him. He always puts the needs of the customer first and everyone who walks in can recognize that. Convenient location and served up some great afternoon Fraps for us. However, as we waited for our drinks, we noticed the inconvenient location of the condiment table. An employee was trying to empty the garbage while a bunch of customers were standing in his way. Probably should relocate that table from that crowded corner to the front. This is hands down the best Starbucks around. The staff is very friendly and they always make the orders quickly even when they are busy. I am always greeted with a smile and after a few visits I was greeted by name. Now they know my order as soon as they see me. When I go in with my kids, they chit chat with them and give them stickers (which they love). This truly is the best location around. Amazing customer service. Today I went in and was talking about how my daughter and I had gone to a few locations but, everyone was sold out of the unicorn frapp and now the promo is over. Love coming to this downtown Starbucks! The staff is so friendly when they are super busy. Have been here many times and I mostly get the same thing each time, they know my order by now. They hardly ever mess up and when they do, they are happy to fix it and with no problem. Ernie is usually there! This Starbucks is OK, but I really like the one in city place better. What it really comes down to at a Starbucks is the staff. The staff has a little bit of work to do at this place but they still can get the job done. Are usually just come here for coffee when I'm going on my walk but sometimes I come here for breakfast. You can walk down to the intercoastal enjoy your coffee down there and watch the boats. You do get free refills on coffee and it's a good time to pile up on your stars for your Starbucks awards.
