Okay, 5 stars. I'll tell you why, essentially fast food coffee gets 5 stars. It's consistent and reliable, rarely is there a time where I've ordered coffee and they're having an off day. This goes for any location, actually. This has become my go-to location since being in Wilsonville and doing a lot of out coffee/lunch runs. The employees are friendly and chatty and generally in good spirits. Today I watched how the employees, one young man in particular, managed to keep a smile on his face as some rando-boomer-Karen was encroaching on their counter while impatiently tapping her foot and snapping her fingers at him for a lid. Karen. There's like 15 people here, not including the half dozen baristas. CHILL OUT. Of course there was no gracious thank you or anything, just the snippy, snotty air she left behind her. The staff is great, they have a great system and communicate well on delivering the many mobile orders in a timely manner (really quick). I love this Starbucks. Why? It's not fancy like some that have cold brew on draft, the Clover machine, or fancy pour over stations. It's a regular, no frills Starbucks... Except, the people and staff that work here are incredible. It's managed by the most positive, fun, and friendly person I've ever met at a Starbucks. She is wonderful and if you see her, which you almost certainly will, tell Tenaya "what's up girl!?!?" She's totally cool. And her leadership is reflected in the staff. What a great and fun crew! Nancy is truly the sweetest woman you'll come across (anywhere!), always has a smile and saying hello. Pete is a damn rock star. If I had my own independent coffee shop I would so try and steal him run it. Michele is always on task at the front with a welcoming smile and has a singing voice of an angel. Heather is awesome, Tori is great, and so are every single employee here I don't have time to write about or just don't know their name. What I'm saying is, if you live here in the Ville, make this your regular coffee spot. The staff gets to know you and makes you feel so welcomed, it's like you're Norm and this location is Cheers... I've never had a bad drink and it's always hot and fresh. On a side note, they always take care of my dog with a puppuccino and ask about him which has been so nice to include him as he is the only "kid" I have. Love Argyle Square Starbucks. My prepackaged salad was very frozen! I frequent this location of Starbucks whenever I'm in the area or am about to get my nails done across the plaza. The last time I went I was hungry and grabbed a brown rice/veggie salad, but when I started eating it I realized it was mostly frozen! Everything from the broccoli to the kale and rice was ice cold like a popsicle. I ate as much of it as I could stomach and threw the rest out. My coffee was good, however, and I enjoyed that while having my pedicure done. Good service, but they need to keep the temperature of their fridge in check! read more

I categorize my Starbucks according to my purpose. I have one for study, reading, chill, blogging, and quick grab and go. This Starbucks is my quick grab and go because of the limited tables and space. Plus, their layout is kinda weird which in turn makes it weird to stay there for long. This location is good at getting their drinks out. Due to the location of this place, there are tons of foot traffic but yet they still manage to deliver your drink within a good time. Mid morning stop right off i5 made its easy ish to get to, it is on the out going side of the plaza traffic and parking doesn't easily fit trucks or have room for deliveries but the service is fast, accurate, and very patient and kind in the ordering process. Super convenient location near Costco...although they get only 4-stars for no drive-thru! They would make bank with a drive-thru here off of I-5! Just the mobile app! I tried it for the first time today while I sat in the parking lot! The barista saw me walk to the counter and just said my name as if I own the place. Haha! First time here! I ordered a cold brew and he also gave me an iced water that was sitting on the counter since I was chatting with him about the app and needing a few sugars to add in. Is it anticlimactic that my 100th review is of a total corporate chain that is on the brink of taking over the world (wait...I think it's already happened)? Either way, if I'm being completely honest, I'll give this place four stars. For the area, this Starbucks is rather spacious, and the baristas have always been courteous and quick, and they rarely mess up orders...a huge plus, seeing that the 'Buckses I frequent in Portland almost ALWAYS do. My gripes at this area come for a few reasons, but are the same across the board: + This coffee is terribly overpriced, and for all the Macchiatos, dry Cappucinos, and Honey Lattes, there really isn't much of a selection. Especially of sugar-free syrups. And they don't do Italian sodas...a total mainstay at coffee shops. + My drinks are often tepid, because baristas are just churnin' out the lattes. + I think that Starbucks secretly pumps fat into their pastries. I looked up nutrition info on a plain doughnut from their cafe, and there was seriously, around 600-800 calories and 44 grams of fat. Tell me, HOW is that even possible? + It's an evil corporation taking over the world! Okay. Now that that's over...taking all of that with a grain of salt, this location is not too bad. Starbucks knows how to do coffee and this place is no exception. I stop by there either before work of at lunch time. The baristas there are a great team. They are very friendly and fast. This is definitely the Starbucks where I get my drink the fastest. You are in and out of there in no time if you wish. Pretty typical strip mall Starbucks. When it comes to Starbucks, you know what you're getting. The menus at each franchise are just about identical, but there are distinct differences that make some branches more favorable than others. This review is meant to reflect what makes this Starbucks unique more so than the company as a whole. As Starbucks stores go, this one is kind of "blah." The location is convenient, the store is clean, and the service is good. There's no reason to avoid the place, but there's also no reason to seek it out. For frequent coffee drinkers, I also strongly recommend pursuing a Starbucks Gold Card if you do not already have one. By simply reloading and reusing a gift card, you can easily reach Gold status (which I think is worth it even under the new company rules). By doing so you get a free drink or food item after you've racked up 12 items purchased. read more

I love this Starbucks location!!!! One of the guys here makes my soy latte PERFECT EVERY TIME!! They have amazing customer service- just enough friendliness always clean, and love the location close to my home; there's always plenty of parking. I don't think this location is very spacious, unlike another reviewer, but oh well. The location is great -- an easy exit off I-5 before you enter Portland. I can't tell you enough how much I dislike this location. I seldom write reviews but can tell you the service received on 8/27 at 7:50pm was the ultimate tipping point for me. Consistencies here, are the baristas never say thank you when retrieving your drink, long lines are understandable but sense the frustration of chaos in this by the teller almost every time. Tonight, I asked for instructions on setting up the Starbucks App with my gold card and after her reply of, "I don't know anything about it, I don't have the app,"3 x, I gave up! Not upset she didn't have it but her attitude and lack of effort to direct me to a source that could help really turned me off. read more

They charged me for 2 coffees and refused to honor my 2nd as a refill. 1st was poured at 7:22 pm & 2nd at 7:46 pm because I drank my 1st cup in the car right outside the store.
