On the corner of University and Goldenrod you have a difficult choice to make: the stand-alone Starbucks with a drive-thru, or the Starbucks inside Target. When I'm in a rush I go to the stand-alone store and do the drive-thru. I only ever visit in the evening, so there is usually little to no wait when I stop. It's a pretty typical Starbucks. Service is fast and friendly. It is great for just grabbing a quick drink. read more

The staff here is very nice. However, I usually wait in line at the drive thru for a lot longer than any other Starbucks location I've been to. My biggest pet peeve is/was a guy on the night shift (haven't seen him in a while) who makes alien noises while you're trying to place your order over the intercom. He thinks it's cute, but it's not cute to constantly get my order wrong because he won't stop fooling around to listen to me say ICED, NO WHIP. I usually end up with hot coffee and a mountain of the fattening cream on top and then have to wait to have it remade. He usually dumps out the screw-up dramatically while making a dumpster-like sound. read more

Either you love what Starbucks does or you are not a fan. There is nothing quite as potent and delicious as a Cafe Americano with cream, whether it is first thing in the morning or far too late into the evening. The ever changing menu of breakfast options keeps me from getting bored. As a card carrying gold level member, I love getting my free drink every 12 purchases. The staff at this location is always friendly and go above and beyond to remember their regular customers. The only drawback is when the drive thru gets severely backed up, people tend to not use common sense and are more than willing to block not only parking spots but also the ability to drive past the back up. read more

In my book you have to earn anything above three stars. They got my drink right and it tastes like it should, the wait was average for how busy it was. I'd go back and tell others to go but it's not going to blow your socks off with exceptional service or anything. read more

I haven't been inside this particular location, but I go threw the drive thru at least 4 times a week. I've always had fast service, really friendly baristas, and they've never messed up my order. I always order a short cup of whipped cream for my dog with my coffee and they always provide, they recognize me and my dog now and that's such a nice personal touch. Everytime I am in Winter Park, Florida visiting my daughter, who attends college there, I go to THIS Starbucks - EVERY MORNING. I sometimes go to the counter, but most mornings it's the driver through. I living in NJ - right across the river from NYC and I can tell you that although the starucks I frequent here are great, my favorite location is the establishmet at 7420 University Boulevard in Winter Park, Fl. Not only is my coffee ALWAYS made perfectly, but the staff - and I do mean the ENTIRE staff - either morning or evening shift are all 5-STARS. They are knowledgable of the product they sell and if you cannot make up your mind, they will make suggestions - and for me at least, every one of their suggestions have been DELICIOUSLY APPRECIATED! They also practice social distancing which is WONDERFUL to see but they are all amazing people! On my last morning in Florida - I was feeling so sad b/c I was leaving my daughter to return to New Jersey - I placed my order in the drive-through and when I got to the window, the young lady handed me my coffee and told me that the car in front of me had paid for my order. Her exact words after that were "You have been blessed today, as you are everyday and you are an amazing human being". The way I had been feeling that morning and then to have someone buy my coffee (which to some may seem like a small sentiment but to me it meant the whole world) and the young lady speaking to me, it brought tears to my eyes that I had been holding back. Not in a bad way, but in a manner that I KNEW that my daughter would be fine after I left. I want to thank everyone at that location for always ALWAYS being themselves, being kind and for actually "seeing" their customers. If you ever happen to go to this location and you go through the drive through, look at the window when you pick up your order - it has many post-its with kind & inspirational words. This Starbucks is the closest one to Fullsail. As such, you can expect a lot of students to be studying and having a cup of coffee. The service in this branch is pretty good. I wish they had more seating and tables. I think there are only 4 sofa chairs and two tables. It's very limited for sure. The drive through can also get busy at times. Best outdoor seating because the hedges surround it. Wifi works without fail so I can get a ton of studying done. The indoor seating is good too, like a small/medium size Starbucks. They have a couple couches, a couple big tables and a few small ones. They are fast, helpful and as always an all around amazing staff! read more

I come here to study fairly often. Generally pretty quiet and can usually find a place to sit. The outdoor seating area is nice, it's fun to bring my dog to study with me in the evenings when it's not too hot. Staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Standard starbucks, went in here when it wasn't busy, only got an iced coffee, easiest drink to make. Wonderful patio,even though it's on the side of a busy road, it has tall shrubbery blocking it and it feels nicely secluded. Wonderful new store ! read more

I came to this Starbucks location to charge my phone so that I could contact my mother so that she could send me an Uber so that I could finally get a ride home. My phone had died and I was in desperate need of a charging outlet. Upon remembering that the Starbucks was right down the street from where I currently was, I began my trek to the cafe. I entered the restaurant and immediately saw that they indeed have outlets. I asked one of the employees if I was able to use it. They said that they think so but that the dining area was not open. I stood there for a good 15 minutes trying to get my confirmed Uber ride home. Once that was sorted out, I stood there waiting another 5 minutes before I was told that I had to leave. My phone had only charged to 10% when I was politely asked to leave. One of the male employees had approached me and asked if I was waiting for something. I told him I was waiting for my Uber not knowing that he was asking if I was waiting for an order. He told me that he couldn't allow me to lounge in the dining area. As he was saying this, he was speaking over me and had interrupted me when I was trying to explain to him that I was waiting for my ride that would be arriving in 5 minutes. He assumed that I was 'lounging' just because I felt like it and didn't care to adhere to their Covid dining rules. The fact is I did care and just wanted to have a break from walking 20 minutes in the Florida heat and so that I could finally get a ride home. I'm a very meek and mild person and avoid confrontation as much as possible so while my sister was on FaceTime (she witnessed the ordeal) trying to complain to the employee about kicking me out, I just grabbed my charger and rushed out of there so that my existence and my presence was no longer a bother to the Starbucks employees. So the 3 stars was given for allowing me to charge my phone and the 2 stars was taken away for being impatient and making assumptions about me standing there. In regards to the Starbucks employee, all you had to do was ask why I was standing there and then patiently wait for my response. Then if you waited like 5 more minutes you would have seen me walk out the door to my Uber ride that I had been waiting for. read more

Ordered baccon n egg sandwiches and moca iced coffee, the sandwich was bland as fuck, baccon was very undercooked. The ice coffee had absolutely no sugar or cream in it when i ordered it with double of both. Garbage i could have gotten better coffee at literally any other place. It's a standard Starbucks chain. After visiting plenty of Starbucks, I get the feel of what is standard practices. The service was decent, not too friendly or social. It's a very spacious location if an individual includes outside seating. It's right next to full sail university. The drink was made quickly. However, the inside seating is limited. 1st time visiting this location, so we will see how it goes. read more

I love Starbucks and I usually go a little further to stop there in the morning. I used to go by the colonial & Maguire location which was always amazing. I got a new job and this location is much more convenient but I hate going here! I do mobile order because obviously time is an issue and even though I can clearly see my order sitting there they want me to stand there and wait forever to be acknowledged to get my stuff. The way some of the staff talk to me is not the typical Starbucks friendly and helpful employees. It was more than one persona and more than one occasion that they were snarky and rude. Unless you have time to deal with turds that will most likely steal your morning sunshine then I'd go elsewhere! read more

This is my go-to Starbucks year round. Their inside seating is a bit cramped, but they do provide 2 large tables for students to work at or have group meetings. The seating outside is much bigger, and you can enjoy the sunset from that location. read more
