i remember this spot from years ago & i love that some things never change !! this is such a cute, eclectic, & cozy space to study, meet up, & experience music. i loved the different nooks & crannies you could sit at & i had my own space to get some focused work done. they have late hours too which is nice. the entire interior has a bright pop of color, w/ flying decor - it feels like you're truly flying through stardust. they have photo booths set up to capture your memory & they have local bands that come & perform. i was studying when margo maybach was singing & it was a party! they have coffee, tea, alcohol, & food - it's a well rounded shop that fits any kind of client. add that w/ great seating options inside/outside & i can see why it's stuck around for so long. the parking situation is a little small but that's normal for this area - street parking will be your friend in orlando. can't wait to come back again soon !! - one thing i wanted to add to this review is that the wifi is unfortunately very spotty & not the best. if you are looking to study & need that seamless connection, just be mindful of that detail. still a lovely spot to vibe though. read more

I recently checked out this and loved it. Such a cute little local spot I had no idea it was tucked away in Winter Park until someone recommended it to me, and I'm so glad they did. They have a fully stocked bar, great coffee, and really delicious brunch sandwiches. Everything tasted fresh, and the whole place has such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. I needed caffeine and a place to work on a Sunday morning. I loved the vibe of Stardust. It's artsy and angsty and hipster and was busy with people chatting, reading, making art, and doing work. There's a Photo Booth, books, games, and lots to look at. It seems like a community hub, welcoming to and inclusive of all! Solid iced lavender latte and hot tea. The kitchen wasn't open when I went but then opened like an hour later. There's free wifi and ample seating and a few cool rooms. They host live music and have a cool stage! Updating my review a bit since I bought some tickets to see a music gig here and it was pretty neat. The ambiance is an underground hip feel and look that you can't really find elsewhere around town. This place is a vibe! They also have little night markets every Monday with vintage clothing and different food vendors. I've been here a few times, not sure why I haven't reviewed them before. They have a good variety of flavors for their lattes, including sugar free lavender, which was excellent! The vibe is what draws you in! It's got the feel of an old bookstore/video store. This has been on my list for a few months to try and check out and I had a friend come over to visit. We decided to go for a coffee and try the photobooth! To be honest the coffee was fine nothing too special about it. The seating area is huge and many little nooks to sit at if you want to be more excluded from people to get some work done. The food is a little pricey. The one cool thing about this place is it has a vintage photobooth. Which it seems why most people come here. While having our coffee the line for it got pretty long. But not crazy that you're there for more than 30 mins. Truthfully I'd only really go back for the booth. read more

Great place to sit down and enjoy the ambience of trinkets and vintage collections! There is always something to look at, pick up, and read. We went for lunch and it was a bit busy with people doing homework but generally, there was quite a bit of seating. Parking is a bit small and squashed as well. We have some sandwiches with salads and they were DELICIOUS! I'd love to try more of the menu another time. There's also a full-stock bar, if you want a cocktail. I really love Stardust - they're an independent place that the staff embrace doing what they want, when they want, in the chillest way possible, haha. They serve one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere - the Grinderman. It's a warm pressed sandwich with chopped chicken, goat cheese, pesto and a splash of hot sauce served alongside some mixed greens and the key to it all - their incredible homemade balsamic vinaigrette (which I always ask for extra of so it can go on each bite of my sandwich, along with the greens).Stardust is a bigger place with a large area for sitting with a stage on one side of the kitchen and ordering counter, a smaller area on the other side, and a lot of outdoor seating. They've got a tasty, casual menu, a coffee bar, a lot of loose leaf tea choices and a ton of bottled/canned alcoholic beverages with a cocktail bar open at night. One of my favorite cafes in downtown. I stumbled upon this place trying to find a place to scrapbook with a friend. They offer great bites for the price. I usually always get the sandwiches (comes with chips and your choice of hummus or salsa). And the total is about $10. It is a great place to grab a bite in downtown and finish some work. I know that some nights Stardust will have someone on stage but most of the time it is a very chill vibe. There is a lot of seating. The one thing I will warn about is the service. Sometimes the service may be a little slow or they may forget your order. It has happened to me but I do not mind it as much. The tater tots which are a must try always take about 15 to 30 minutes but besides that I love the place. Parking may be hard though when it gets busy. read more

Came here on a Friday night planning to get food. Lucked out on I think the last available parking spot in the lot. There as live music which was great and unexpected with not door charge. Looked over the food menu, tater tots sounded good and would say mostly a sandwich place. Unfortunately the other person in my party was not interested in ordering any food which maybe the kitchen wouldn't have been stoked since it kind of seemed like a hang out chill place. We did end up getting some beer, I grabbed Narragansett and the server was friendly and helped recommend a beer for the other person. Price was fine, $14 for two beers? I didn't know this but they had a photo booth in here and is clearly a staple classic when coming. Of course when we were there it was out of film and I was so bummed I didn't have a souvenir to take home with me. Lots of books and eclectic artwork all around. I would deff come here to do some computer work and chill. I hope they don't give up playing shows and hopefully if I visit again there will be some film. read more

The last 1950s Photo Booth in Florida (I believe) is EVERYTHING!! They even have a TV on top where you can see your photos being printed! I haven't been out to Stardust since college, but it felt so good to be back! My friend wanted to go to a relaxed place where we could check out some books, so of course I had to recommend this place! The atmosphere is very laid back, hipster cafe vibes but all are welcome! When we came in we grabbed seats in larger sitting area near the bar and went to go order our food from the team who was very friendly! My friend ordered the Ivy League Cuban with chips & salsa and I got the Crispin Glover (chicken pesto panini) with hummus and chips. The food was nice & tasty, and we were able to relax and chat away for hours. this is such a cool place. it's genuinely so beautiful and creative inside, and people write on the walls and have showcased art. even just the ceiling is gorgeous! i came here to draw and relax and it's definitely the place for that (at least on the weekdays, on the weekends they often host events or live music which i've also experienced!). the food is affordable and delicious. they have really good tempeh chili and their range of coffee syrups is absolutely insane. i always order the same two things (neo philly and nachos) but they're consistently very tasty and i appreciate being able to afford the food i'm eating. portions are generous for the price. there's a photobooth in the back as well and plenty of outlets and different tables to chill at. there's places for more privacy and less privacy depending on what you're in the mood for. i feel like at stardust there's something for everybody. read more

After reading other reviews I felt that my experience makes sense. I went in to grab coffee yesterday, and always make it a point to visit whenever I'm in town. The Dark Haired Barista at the counter was fairly rude but I chalked it up to a bad day and tipped her anyway. I called today because I was thoroughly impressed with the lavender latte I received and wanted to know the brand so I could try to make it at home. I was told "stardust hold" and proceeded to be placed on hold for 24 minutes. I recorded them hanging up on me after waiting for that long. I wouldn't have waited had I known this was the result. As a long time fan, I will no longer give them my business and ill be passing this along to others on social media. Stopped going here years ago. I grew tired of the abusive staff. The last time I stopped in, I ordered a Beam and coke. The bartender handed me a pint glass, with coke and Beam, but no ice. I've been here twice, and both times i've been disappointed with the coffee. The first time i ordered a hot latte that was lukewarm, I told the barista, and she stuck it in the microwave instead of making a new one. The second time, I ordered an iced latte with mocha syrup, and she put the wrong syrup in it, and the latte was undrinkable. When i go up to ask for a new one, while she did make a new latte (begrudgingly), it was pure milk. I will not be coming back, not even for the ambiance. read more

This is the exact kind of coffee house I wanted to go to in high school. There are books, art on the walls, a stage, coffee and tea, and food. There is a fun eclectic atmosphere. The iced chai had a lovely cardamom forward flavor, though I guess that is preferential. The oat milk cappuccino was good too. Unlike most places that have a fried staple of French fries Stardust went for tots. I must say a good tot hits the spot. They aren't fancy but the potato-y goodness is just what a coffee house sesh needs. I did also order the Crispin Glover, mainly for the name, and I must say it was really good. I've 1up'ed a star for them. I've come by quite a number of times, especially since the pandemic started because of the way they've arranged social distancing where you don't even have to go inside if you don't want to. They have this window you can walk up to and just eat/drink outside. Their location is perfect in the sense that its so easy for me to stop by after bike riding through mead botanical gardens/urban bike trail. Stopping by here after my rides have become a routine and one of the things I look forward to actually; I have to admit that. Everything in my previous review still goes; don't get me wrong, but again, because of how they've made it easy for someone with a bike to order and hang out, there's not many establishments in Orlando that do this so I'm giving credit where its due. I've also enjoyed quite a number of items new to me. Their cappuccino made with oatmilk is spectacular; addicting actually. During the Summer months I often drank several of their herbal teas which you can have iced. Their price point is also slightly cheaper than other coffee houses around the area and that also keeps me coming back. So I'll be back with my bike, looking for a great cup of joe after a long ride. read more
