We've been customers of Starnes Plumbing for almost five years now, ranging from simple clogs all the way to replacing a toilet. Everyone we've had contact with, from the office staff to the technicians coming to do the work, is consistently nice, friendly, and professional. Today, we contacted Starnes because of a clogged kitchen drain, and they dispatched Brent to come and take a look. My wife and I both work from home and were on calls all morning, so we didn't even have a chance to do any precleaning or remove the items under the sink. Brent was very friendly, took care of moving everything and putting it back, and made sure that the drain was running freely. He asked if we had any other plumbing concerns, and after I mentioned the sink in the guest bath, he took a look. It turned out to be more of a design problem with the stopper that doesn't really have an easy solution, so we left that for another day. To my surprise, he thanked me for being a repeat customer and comped today's service! I can highly recommend Starnes for all of your plumbing needs, they are a great company! read more

Great company, the guys know what they're doing and work fast. The lady in the office was so patient and kind to me. She always helped me when I needed certain documents, bc I had to hire a third party adjuster to fight with the insurance company to get them to cover the water damage. They offer financing through a third party company. My experience with them was a great one. read more

We recently have had an issue with leaking in our upstairs bathroom. In a few places. Starnes had been kind, courteous, and sympathetic. We knew they would have to go in the wall since water was dripping to the first floor. They still asked for permission. They are very reasonable in their pricing! Rebecca was very helpful and friendly over the phone. She helped get my appointment started and would keep me updated as availability opened up. I am somewhat reluctant to write a negative review of Starnes Plumbing, as I have previously very satisfactorily used the company on several plumbing projects. However, my latest attempt to engage them has been completely fruitless, and due to their lack of communication I am clueless what has happened to their service levels. I first contacted Starnes via email on Aug 5, 2022. After some elapsed period with no response, I contacted them again, but this time by phone. Within a few days, Brett came to my home to get further information on my potential projects and, upon leaving, promised to get back to me. It is now mid-November 2022. I never heard one word back from them, even though after a few weeks of silence I tried to "ping" them a text message and phone. At that point, sometime in early October, I was told by a woman who answered the phone that Starnes does not have enough people to timely respond. I have proceeded with my own projects DIY, no thanks at all to Starnes Plumbing. Their response was extremely poor (non-existent). I am sorry to say they will not receive any business from me in the future, despite their good, professional and prompt service in the past. read more

I've been using Starnes services now for close to 30 years and they are professional, meticulous, and they care. My latest issue was with a leaking gas somewhere in the house. I was without gas as it had been shut off and it was cold. I called late in the afternoon and Brett was here the next day. They meticulously isolated and found the problem and guided me through the steps to restore heat in my house. OOT when 911 call for gas leak occurred. Starnes fixed (and charged) for repairs on the gas co side of the line saying gas co would credit bill. Week later had issue again but this time called gas co. Gas co said they fix leaks on gas co side for FREE and licensed plumbers, like Starnes, knows they aren't to work on the gas co side. Confronted Starnes and they admitted they were knowingly wrong and said they'd refund, but they never have. So I'm out $500 AND gas co had to come back out to repair the "Starnes repair" because it was still leaking! I've contacted Starnes at least 30x since then, to make it right (after they admitted lying and said they'd reimburse)....still waiting. read more

Starnes (in particular Brett) was fantastic!! We had water coming up through shower drained that flooded the entire bathroom and adjoining closet. On a Friday, midday, they were able to get back to me within a few minutes and they were out within the 1/2 hour. Diagnosed and fixed the issue in no time and at a fair/reasonable price. I know its is fair because I used another plumber once to clear a blockage and he took me to the cleaners--I had not choice then --like now, but this time Starnes was great. I have had two experiences with Starnes Plumbing and Sprinkler Systems. The first for a hot water heater repair that was done quickly and efficiently. The second time I also reported it as a hot water repair, but it turned out that the gas company had turned off my gas due to a leak. Starnes was able to have that repaired, inspected by the City and the gas co was back to reinstate my service and turn on my hot water heater and furnace all within 2 work days. Starnes Plumbing really is an honest company. I had a leak in my yard a few months ago at the meter causing a $300+ water bill that had supposedly been "fixed" (twice) by another company over a three month span. (A second company recommended a total replacement of the pipe from the meter to the house for an estimated cost of $2300 -- based solely upon my phone call. They never even looked at it.) I called Starnes Plumbing first thing on a Monday morning, got a call back within 10 minutes, and Brett said he'd take a look that morning. I got a text a few hours later stating that it was fixed! I asked him his opinion about replacing the pipe to the house. "Why? It's PVC. You have no tree roots encroaching on it. It was just a joint that was leaking." Oh, and his bill was $140 less than the other company whose work he had to re-do. So yeah, Starnes Plumbing is the only one I'll ever call when I need a plumber. read more

Although they were booked up they did me a huge favor and squeezed me in on the same day.
