She went over how their process works, asked multiple questions, then pulled some dresses. We understood eachother and had great communication through the tears as they started flowing. I feel like she helped me capture my vision perfectly, that when I finally put that one on, I immediately knew and couldn't stop crying happy tears. I did not plan on buying a dress this day. This was only my fourth appointment, but the only appointment where I feel like I truly connected with my stylist and she understood my style, my vision, and my story which was very important for my dress to reflect. Also to mention the dress was is the price range I gave her from the start! There was no pressure to budge that price range or even buy a dress that day. It was just the one. The staff helped my mom change, they gave her honest feedback and hyped her up when the dress looked good on her. They set the scene and helped her envision herself in the dress on wedding day by playing with different lighting options. We found a stunning dress for about $500. I saw dresses ranging from $250-$900. I think that some of the dresses there were worth the price, but others look super cheap and are falling apart. But the staff is honest enough to tell you which dresses those are. I will consider this location for my formal wear needs going forward! The only feedback I have is that when it comes to dresses that they have online or in their catalog. Let's say you want to order a dress in a color or size they don't have in the store. Once you order it, you can't return or exchange the dress. That's unsettling to me because depending on the color or the stretch of a dress, it may look completely different in person. I understand final sale, but I think there's value in allowing exchanges for store credit.

There was a couple ahead of me and only one concierge, but I got seen by 5:30 on the dot in the dressing room. I brought a belt and shoes, but I didn't need anything to get the measurements done. All in all, the process was pretty smooth and efficient. Props to Selam for getting me in and out in 20 minutes. We'll see how the mailed suit looks like, but the service here was great.

Balani, Tom James, J Hilburn, King Brothers -- I would rank Q dead last. Even shirts I got online from Charles Tyrwhitt and TM Lewin hold up and fit better (and they're not even "made to measure") The horror stories are too long for Yelp. Mason & Sons/Anthony Sinclair is based out of London, and this is their only other location other than a small set up in Miami. They have outfitted many celebrities over the years, but one of their main claims to fame is that they outfitted Sean Connery for every suit he wore in the James Bond films. The Bond legacy can be seen in tasteful prints and accent pieces throughout the boutique This location can easily be missed as it is actually a converted home in a residential area. Ryan and his wife live on the property, but the front room and fitting room have been converted into a shop/fitting area As you walk in everything has its place and is tastefully put together. You will see garments, suits, accessories, but it's not packed with items. The entire layout feels classic, timeless, and is altogether appealing You can either take an existing piece article, get fitted for it, and modify it. Or you can work with Ryan to customize your own vision. Everything from buttons the pleats (or not), tapering, texture, color, colors, and everything to fit your piece exactly the way you like You will go in for a consultation, get fitted, have follow-ups etc. They walk you through the entire process in a way that's easy to digest. They do a great job of taking notes, communicating when your items are it, and scheduling you future visits. When all was said and done they pressed everything for us and it was incredibly painless... it was actually a lovely experience Now, this suit dresser/shop fitted Sean Connery, Michael Caine, Steve McQueen, etc... it's not a budget shop. You will get quality items and quality service, but it won't be entirely inexpensive. But it will be what you want and it will last Lastly, I will say that Ryan was an absolute pleasure. He was professional, dapper, and an incredible help. I never felt like he wasn't paying attention, or that he didn't understand the vision. He was on top of everything and he made the experience. I ended up buying a dress from one of the boutiques and had serious dress regret; the sales lady put quite a bit of pressure on me and looking back it was really a horrible experience. Then insert BHLDN: you're greeted with friendly faces in a very relaxed environment! They give you champagne of course and you have a whole little section to yourself. I couldn't get over how non-pressure it was. The sales lady- I forgot her name or I would've written it because she was wonderful- was extremely helpful & knowledgeable about the dresses. She brought out several recommendations that were exactly what I was looking for. She listened very well! I found multiple stunning, elegant dresses. The entire experience was very non pressure- non salesy. Probably because the dresses literally sell themselves!
