Clean and organized store. Bourbon selection leaves a lot to be desired. Staff was friendly.

This is one of the newer stores in the valley. Pulling into the parking is a nightmare to park, and an even more of a horror story to get out. One of these suv's almost backended me trying to get the perfect spot. Inside it has more of a darker lighting system compared to other liquor stores I've been in. Staff was friendly when I asked for help locating the Sake. Each store has their own layout. It wasn't very crowded today, I didn't have much of a wait. This is a good store overall and I usually have a pleasant experience. Most of the staff are nice and helpful but the person who checked me out was extremely rude for no reason. I have no idea what I did to set her off since I always put an effort to be polite and respectful to staff anywhere that I shop. read more

It's really interesting how the bad reviews are complaining about the laws and not the store. Look, the prices include Utah's "sin tax" but guess what? You're in the state of Utah. State laws exist for a reason and we can't agree with all of them. I don't like it, I don't agree with it and I wish they would get rid of it. Regardless, this store has all the booze you can ask for and the staff is very friendly. It's one of the best liquor stores around my area. So many options ! Build your own beer box! Coming to Utah from California is always a different and unique experience. But I enjoy that I'm able to have access to not only California beers but he surprisingly wonderful Utah beers. This place is gorgeous. It has local art in it and it looks great, very clean and possibly fairly new. I dig that. In fact, for the first five minutes I was there, I just wondered around saying, literally, "wow." Then I got into the meat of things and... ...selection-wise...eh. There is a lot of wine, but if we're being real, wine takes up a lot of real estate and floor space for it does not necessarily mean anything. The selection there is not anywhere near an actual wine store, so not great. This is far more of a liquor store, but they do have some very expensive and high end wines and liquors, which I don't always see. Beer is so-so here, about in the middle for the various stores. It was very easy to get in and out, as this is not one of the more frequented locations, evidently, and may be worth the drive to avoid the madd(en)ing crowds...definitely worth a visit if you're into this kind of heathen thing... read more

Place stinks like wet garbage from the moment you walk in. Wine selection is good. And of course the booze is abundant. Security stalks you like a bank guard. I went in around 7pm and wasn't busy. But damn it reeks like crap!! Prices are of course gouged by the state and it's definitely sad to see them take advantage of Utahans. For anyone local we have always known we could always go to the liquor store for boxes. Being that I'm moving and I knew from having shopped there, they had them right out in front, I grabbed a few. The MANAGER of the store RAN from the back of the building as if I was walking out with something precious and went "Ma'am! You CAN'T take boxes." He then directed me to go to another liquor store a few miles away to do exactly what I was attempting to do there. I'm sorry..... what? OK, You recycle. But I kind of figure this is more of "This is HOLLADAY and it looks bad if you take boxes" vs. "We give a crap about the environment." I went in to get some wines that were on a list of mine. I know little about wines and am buying for health and relaxation purposes. I had to asked for help from an employee. Taylor helped find the wines on my list or those which closely matched the ones I was seeking. I was able to fill my list in less than 5 minutes with his help. He was the best thing that happened to me all day and apart from making my day, I have the wines to look forward to trying now. I give the store a 5 stars and Taylor at least 10 stars. Thanks to him, I saved a whole lot of hunting around the store for the wines on my list, which no doubt, would have taken me 2 hours or more. read more

Nice, clean, not cramped. Not overly crowded, even on a Saturday evening. Good parking, easy to get in and out. Good liquor selection. Great wine selection for Utah. Small beer selection. Worth the drive to not go to the smaller, crazier downtown SLC liquor store. read more

If you are in need of a wide selection of fermented beverages, this is the best and one of the largest state liquor stores I've seen in the area. They unfortunately have a piss poor selection of beer and sometime have slow lines which are forgivable because of their wine selection. read more

I frequent this specific liquor store more than any of the other ones whenever I need to stop and pick something up. Not only because it's close to home but it's one of the larger, nicer locations. I've never had any issues or complaints whatsoever until tonight. I understand it's their job to ask a customer if they have been drinking already if they exhibit any unusual behavior that would tip off the employee that the customer is drunk. I also understand that it is the weekend that Halloween is being celebrated. What I don't understand is when I have literally done nothing at all to warrant the old lady at the cash register to ask me what I had been doing that night. (I answered just like any body would answer when asked by a cashier how I'm doing or how my day was going) me not immediately catching on that she was inquiring in that first question if I had been drinking again. So I proceed to ask her how her way was by which she follows with, "fine. Have you been drinking today already?" And at first in my head I'm like "are you sh*tting me lady." But instead opt for a much nicer," no not at all, you can smell my breath and everything if you want to." And proceed to blow in her face. (I was very irritated by her inquiries.) then she replies with "well I'm not very good at telling by that" which is the most unspecific response, and honestly I wanted to tell her yeah it doesn't seem like you're very good at being able to tell much of anything. Because obviously she isn't. I'm sure for others who have been to this specific liquor store they've probably been rung up by the older lady with a bowl cut, glasses and Snaggle buck teeth. I think the only reason this whole experience irritates me so badly is because not only had i not been drinking at all prior to that but also because I literally did nothing to warrant that question. I wasn't being loud or obnoxious, swaying back and forth, slurring my words or anything. I stood in line quietly, had my ID out and ready for her before she was even done with the customer in front of me, paid for my things and proceeded to get interrogated by this clueless old lady. If I could give zero stars I would. This woman needs to get a clue and start recognizing the people who actually go in there intoxicated and act like bafoons , not the quiet respectful customers. * negative five stars* read more

A great place to pick up your booze. A good verity of wines and spirits and mostly reasonable prices. You can find a lot of locally made beverages that are quite good. Clean and well organized. I wish they had a larger beer selection, had some ingredients like craft tonic water, and had bar tools. read more

Recent renovation means a big increase in capacity and some of the best varieties and selection in the state.

I love this location, I love that they have a chiller for bottles since for some reason Utah doesn't have coolers for beer and bottles. I like the wine selection as well. Nice store. read more
