I agree with Jessica, who also recently reviewed this place. I would give it a ZERO stars if it was…read morepossible. I would never step foot in this joint. I called about a week ago to set up an inspection and no one answered the phone initially, no voicemail, but not a huge deal. I was told I needed to call and speak to the owner to set it up. No offer to have him call me. Again, not a huge deal, but foretelling of the (lack of) professionalism that was to come... I called again and was given an earful about what a waste of time it would be for him to do the inspection "I only make $6 on it, so you must bring cash or a check, I don't take cars or I would only make $3". It is not worth it to me. I'm not sure why he felt the need to disclose this information to me... but I digress. I ask about how long the appointment will take. I'm told after I tell him my car is relatively new with no obvious issues "everyone thinks there car will pass and has no issues". Ok, I leave it at that. Until... I went into another establishment to have my windshield wipers replaced in the interim... the kid installing them ends up cracking my windshield (now I have less than 2 weeks until said inspection is due). I call on the next business day to let the gentleman (I use this term loosely) know that I'm unsure how to now proceed. I called at least 4 or 5 times at all different times of day to try and be courteous in event I SHOULD cancel the appointment. Again, no answer. The next day, I call again and someone answers, I ask if it is the owner, realizing that he is the only one I am "supposed to" talk with about this matter. He will not identify himself. He tells me "too many people want to talk with him and he doesn't want to talk to them." I tell him about what has transpired. He tells me "I'm not the one who did it. I have inspections on my own cars, I'm not worried about your car." He begins laughing. I am perplexed by the way the owner received and handled my simple request. What should I do in this circumstance; should I still have the inspection, anticipating it will not pass and I'll need to see this unprofessional clown more than once. I tell him I don't find it funny. I tell him how I tried calling the previous day and didn't get through. I know he deals with this all the time, but I don't and I'm trying to figure out what to do. He tells me "I don't care what you do, we always answer except during lunch hour and we don't answer when the car is on a lift, I don't want to drop a car to answer a call. I've been in business 40 years. We answer. So he is suggesting I'm lying I suppose. He said "why don't you call me another 5x, I have your appointment in the books; come or don't come, I don't care!" And the clincher, he hangs up on me. The Owner was incredibly rude, condescending dismissive and completely unprofessional. Clearly he didn't want my business. I obviously didn't go to the appointment, he didn't even give me the chance to respond I wouldn't be there. Instead, I went to Sun gas station, just a little way away, where they know how to treat customers, the gentleman there was pleasant, efficient and helpful. The complete opposite experience that I had with this shop. Good luck staying in business with your attitude, unkind sir.

Pricing was more reasonable than the dealership for a repair I needed done. They asked what the…read moredealership was charging for one wheel bearing to be replaced, and once I shared it, they were suddenly insisting I replace both, even though my research indicated for my car that both did not need to be done at once. The dealership said only one needed replacing, so this was suspicious. They also went ahead and did a realignment after doing that work, even though again my research said this didn't need to be done for my car after this type of repair. I said not to do it to save me some money, but they did it anyways without asking my permission first. Shouldn't that be standard practice? I haven't had any issues since the repair was done, and my car is SO much quieter, so overall am pleased. One of the managers or maybe even owners offered me a ride to pick me up when my car was ready, which I accepted since it was a crazy heat wave and it was difficult to get back there otherwise. One thing that was weird was I made an appointment to have a wheel bearing fixed, was running a little late due to being stuck in a meeting (probably showed up only 10 minutes after my appointment time - I know, not ideal, but also not crazy), and when I got there they said they wouldn't have time to fix it that day as previously promised since they still had to order the part. They called to tell me this an hour or two after I dropped off the car. What?? I felt like Jerry Seinfeld on the rental car episode - I made a reservation/appointment, what do you mean you don't have time or the part yet? I had to pick my car up and come back the next day which was inconvenient, especially since it was right before a holiday. Very weird business practice. Their AI maintenance system flagged a ton of things as needing repair when I had just been to the dealership for regular service, and they hadn't flagged 75% of these new so called "issues," so I don't know what to believe. The system is cool because you can view the full report online and reference it, but the price I was quoted to fix everything was insane and much higher than the dealership even. They didn't offer any package deals or discounts to do it all at once which I feel is very standard. Kind of having mixed thoughts about coming back. They were nice and answered my questions, but their maintenance system seems way too over sensitive and recommends service you may not need - it's hard to tell what is true. Tempted to drop this to a 3 star the more I write about my experience.
