I walked into Stater Bros today approximately 3:05 pm and there was at least 5 to 8 people in each line every register open. The lines were running in the isles. I almost walked out thinking I'll be here for an hour. But I went to produce took a few mins picking out good potatoes and then to meat department one person ahead of me then got some steaks then to dreading going to check out. I have never been so SHOCKED in my life the registers were empty. I'm not lying. They Rocked I don't think I've ever seen them kick butt so fast. Cudo's to all the cashiers that were working the registers at that hour. You guys deserve a BIG APPLAUSE . I only wish I took a picture when I walked in and then 15 mins later. Very disappointed with this store. I went there today and was told I would have to pay 10 cents per bag if I wanted one. Then I was informed that they no longer provide wine cartons and now charge $1.00 for them, even though they offer a discount when purchasing six or more bottles of wine. As a result, I had to carry six bottles of wine out of the store without a carton. This feels like corporate greed at its finest. I can shop at Trader Joe's, Home Depot, or Albertsons and not be charged for these types of items. I have only continued shopping at this store because of its convenience, but it looks like it's time for a change. What became of customer satisifaction? read more

My family and I have frequented this store for the last 7 years. There is one cashier, Alysa, who time and time again has been the rudest worker at this store. We have had several encounters with her. From shaming my husband for not wearing a mask (after masks weren't mandatory), when she herself doesn't even wear her mask correctly. She's been rude to my kids for no apparent reason, to the point that we have to actively avoid her line because they are scared of her. She's even shamed us for not bringing our own bags. This behavior has gone on for years. Unfortunately, today the lines were long and I had to got in the 15 items or less line that she was the cashier at. I had counted my items and believed I had only 15. Apparently, 4 cloves of garlic each count as 1 item even though they were all in 1 bag. As the number ticked past 15 she loudly kept saying "$1000, $2000, $3000." She told me that I actually had 18 and asked me if I could read the sign that said 15 times only. I apologized that I believed I only had 15 and she proceeded to loudly lecture me and shame me in front of everyone. I didn't want to cause a scene so I left. I called the store to file a complaint with a manager. I spoke with Ty who was extremely kind and understanding and said he would pass the message to the sort manager to have a word with her. I can't imagine I'm the only person to encounter this ladies rude behavior and I hope that she was actually be held accountable for her unacceptable and lack of customer service. read more

Was in the store on 5/25 around noon, specifically to purchase the fried chicken and rib $20.00 special. First of all, there was no chicken prepared at this time, which I thought was odd as there was a big sale going on. The person working in the deli explained they had to filter the fryer before they could do more chicken. I get it and asked how long a wait and was told about 30 minutes total until the chicken would be ready. Ok, so I went and did some shopping, returned to the deli about 30 minutes later and it was still going to be a few more minutes. A different deli person asked if I had pick up the ribs yet from the hot food area up front. I said no and went up to get them. Last rack of ribs in the warmer. Went back and got the chicken and headed home for a great prepared lunch. NOT. The ribs had a thick layer of dried out meat all across them. Horrible. The chicken was supposed to be 8 pieces, and lo and behold only 7 in the box. One of the breast pieces, which happens to be my husband's favorite was missing. All in all a very sad day for what once was my favorite place to shop. Do better Stater Bros! read more

I got rotten 93% lean hamburger from this Stater Bros. grocery store today. The meat was packaged from the meat counter by the grocery store's meat counter staff. They knew the meat was rotten, as it was obvious. The counter meat staff person packaged rotten meat on purpose. This is unacceptable. The store manager should be notified and the meat counter staff person should be fired. I was shocked to see rotten meat when I opened the package today. People could die from eating rotten meat. Horrible customer service. Went in today and it was quiet and slow so being busy was not an excuse. The young lady who rang us up did not even look at us or say or anything. The gentleman helping her bag just yelled out bag and that was the only communication we had verbally. we noticed an older gentleman who appeared to be a supervisor or manager who also walked past us and never spoke or said hello and walked past us to get to his register and talked over our heads to the young girl next to him, customer service is huge and they lack it at this store. So I sent my son to buy chicken from Stater Bros Market. Store #86. 1661 E. 6th St. Beaumont, CA 92223. Store Manager: Raymond Bingham. We ordered a 12 piece dark and this is the type of chicken they sold me.... I am soooo confused. Why would you think it's okay to sell this chicken to a consumer to consume? This is UNACCEPTABLE on so many levels. So I call the store to tell them what I was sold and the manager Lucus says, "Okay" and that was all he said. I said, excuse me? He then said, "wellll do you want your money back or something?" I said, "Sir do you think it's okay to sell chicken that is clearly over 5 hours old, dried up and changing colors???" He said, "What do you mean?" So I asked him if I went to the health department to show them this chicken what is it he thinks they would say? He tell me he doesn't know. I said don't think this is okay? He tells me he doesn't really know and he wasn't the one that sold me the chicken. At that point I was DONE more done than this horrible chicken was! Absolutely Disgusting and Horrible Service I don't know what is going on at this Stater Bros., but walking into this store was an assault on my senses. The place REEKED of rotten dairy and something even worse--like straight-up poop. It was unbearable and made me question whether this place has ever been cleaned or inspected. And as if the smell wasn't bad enough, the staff and even some of the customers were so unbelievably rude. No one wanted to help, and when I asked a simple question, I was met with eye rolls and attitude. Is this how you treat paying customers? I've never been so disgusted by a grocery store in my life. Unfortunately I have to write this as I went to pick up some stuff and upon looking for tomatoes I found only roma and when I did find the large tomatoes they only had 4, 2 of which were disgusting looking and the other two had MOLD on them. Cesar in the meat department is very rude and snarky. I came a few minutes after opening requesting salmon in the meat case the other gentleman who was super friendly and extremely helpful (too bad I didn't catch his name) went over to ask him, he mumbled under his breath then when I asked him for the salmon he rudely responded that it somewhere at the bottom of his pallet and that I could get whatever was already on the shelf and continued stocking meat. The cashier Murphy lacks all customer service skills and instead chooses to converse with people/cashiers behind him. He did not utter one word to me during the entire transaction other than my total. I came in yesterday august 21st around noonish and i came in with my child and we were in line checking out and i had bought some grapes and as the worker, im assuming is a manger because of the white button up, is scanning them, i see him grab one of my grapes , turn around and plop it into his mouth. Mold in refrigerators. Rude cashiers. The store is organized and well maintained however the refrigerators have continued to be an issue.

Barbra had impeccable service when ordering at the deli, she was so amazing especially helping is with our order. She was very insightful about the question we asked. She made the service and experience incredible, 10/10 she definitely needs a raise, she gave us manager type service. Would definitely come back just for her service. " Ray Bingham Does A Great Job " I started visiting the Stater Bros. store #86 in Beaumont, Ca a few times months ago on 6th street. Their are so many stores like Walmart, Albertsons, Aldi and Food 4 Less, in the Beaumont and Banning areas very close to the Stater Bros. store. But Stater Bros. is like NO other store in this Beaumont and Banning area. And one of the main reasons this store is so different, is the management that Ray Bingham does at the Store. During the COVID-19 pandemic a lot of grocery stores had employees sanitizing every shopping cart, but all of them have stopped doing it now except Stater Bros. All of the employees that I talk too in the Stater Bros. store also go out of their way to help you, answer any questions you may have, and always have a smile on their faces and say Hi !. Also as soon as you walk in the Stater Bros., the Store always looks perfect. Ray Bingham makes sure that his employees constantly walk down the isles of the store straightening, and or replacing any missing merchandise, so the Isles always look perfect. (Look at my pictures). Stater brothers Produce and Meat department are also so perfectly arranged and maintained. Ray Bingham is always walking around the store making sure his employees are doing everything to make the store look and feel perfect. Ray also helps at the cash register check out lines when a lot of customers are checking out and need help. The main reason I go to this store instead of others now, is because Ray Bingham has done a great job managing this store in so many ways. This is my 2nd review on this Stater Brothers store in Beaumont. I recently bought 2 bags of Stater Brothers brand frozen cut green beans and they were terrible. Tasted bad and several had brown spots on them. I have been shopping at Stater Brothers for over 40 years in various cities that I lived in. First let me say I only gave one star because I had no option for a zero. I was a journeyman clerk for over 20 years never had an experience like I had at stater brothers in Beaumont today. We went down one aisle and I asked one of the employees do you know if you have any of this in the back 'I don't know', do you have a cooler in the back that you would have more of this item back 'I don't know I don't stock shelves', can you get someone to find out 'I'll see if someones available for you',and then ask for a manager. Once the manager came fine I got my answer no issues. Then I went into the checkstand and I was just in awe, I didn't get a hello I wasn't acknowledged the young man, the cashier was having a conversation with his courtesy clerk, all he did was ask me for money! (Amiri & Teresa) Absolutely outrageous, had that been me at any point in my career whether I was there 1 year five years or 20 years I would've been taken aside and talk to and or written up. So now I've been to the stater brothers in Cherry Valley, completely different, they're nice they're cordial bent over backwards to find the item I was looking for (unfortunately out of stock). This Stater Bros reminds me of the one in Indio off highway 111, super old, super run down, old smell. It's always a very small store as well. Cashiers are nice, and getting in-out of the store is fairly quick, but they might not have everything you want, or if they do, they might not have the brand you want. But it's alright, there's a Food 4 Less next door. Banning / Beaumont just need to step up their grocery store game in general. Really disappointing stores out here. Store is a bit tight too since it's so small. read more

Recently moved to the Banning area. Took a while to find a grocery store that would provide fresh produce and meats. Each time I go in this store, I get wonderful customer service, fresh produce and meats. They have truly become my primary grocery store. The workers in the meat section appeared to enjoy their job, Amir (cashier) had a pleasant demeanor during check-out, and the manager greeted me as I was checking out. This shows the attentiveness of the workers, as well as the positive tone set by management. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

I literally haven't been here in months as I've I stated before, Staters has followed their competitors with gimmicks to get good pricing instead of being the low price leader as they were years ago. Now I think they they've hit a new low with bait and switch. I was in staters on 4-4 to get the two liter Pepsi on sale. They didn't have enough Diet Pepsi to get the deal so I asked if I could get the deal since they don't have the product, the gal said no I have to pay $2.49 each, they have plenty of Coke product at a higher price, I didn't think much of it, until today I was driving by and since I noticed in staters ad they have Pepsi 12 packs on sale, I stopped in since I was driving by (I'd never go out of my way) to get some items along with the Diet Pepsi, you guessed it, no Diet Pepsi but plenty of Diet Coke at a higher price. You'd think I was at a used car lot with the bait and switch. I know it will never happen, but I'd like to have the old Stater Bros back. Just simple low prices. read more

i loved staters when i firsy moved back here in 2006. i noticed little changes last year. i complained to a manager but the next time i came in the meat dept manager treated me differently for the past year didnt wsnt to help me at all was actually kinda rude but i continued to shop there. fast forward to coronavirus .....i understand the need for no returns or exchanges at this time ppl are hoarding and acting crazy. but when u are checking out with a manager and tell him oh wait let me put my digital rewards and he says go ahead and pay....i get my receipt i paid 43$ for 22$ worth of stuff!!! and he refuses to correct it and give my money back because there are no exchanges or returns......newsflash moron i was just trying to get my money back that u ripped me off. never again. stater bros sucks. u all should be ashamed of urselves!!! read more

We shop at Staters all the time! Love the service, love the meat department, love the cashiers. Everyone is always friendly, and they almost always have what we need. The only down side is sometimes they have long lines, and will have 3 of the 15 items or less lanes open, and one regular lane. But we still shop there at least 2-3 times a week! read more

Went to this Staters on my way home from Banning DMV on 6/12/19. I was very impressed with how clean and well stocked it was. The Vegan/Vegetarian frozen section was the biggest in any grocery store I've frequented and the produce section was amazing. It was also not uncomfortable and freezing cold like most grocery stores tend to be. 5 stars for sure! read more

My husband and i have been getting our money orders through stater bros for years and never had a problem until now. Yesterday, October 22nd at around 1:30 my husband dropped by to pay a bill through the zero check stand which we frequently do, he was surprised when the girl who came up to help him rather than a happy greeting looked around and proceeded to curse about whoever was at the register before her. He was surprised by her unprofessional behavior but didnt say anything and let her know he was paying a bill and gave his information, she asked who the money was going to and when he corrected her and told her it wasnt a money gram but rather a bill payment she responded with "ugh you should have said that from the beginning" she redid the order and turned the screen so he could verify his information but he couldn't see the screen because of the glare from the plexiglass and when he tried telling her she responded with "oh my gosh, can you see it now?" Very sharply after adjusting the screen. Now im pretty sure in the past we got a slip with our information to verify but i could be wrong. After the transaction was finished she very rudely told him "in the future let me know at the beginning youre paying a bill" with a very obvious attitude. Unfortunately my husband didnt keep his receipt and the girl wasnt wearing a name tag which i though was aginst dress code so all we have is a description of the girl, early 30s or late 20s, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a black mask with pink lips.
