Review 34/365 Day Challenge How have i not reviewed one of my local fav grocery store. I love coming to Alberstons for their sales including the digital coupons you just clip on their ap or the $ 5 dollar Friday deals that's only valid on Friday. The store is usually fully stocked on all items unless it's a really good deal/score then they might be out but usually always restocking. The aisle and store is well kept and clean, easy to find stuff. Associates are really nice. I knew i loved this bakery department especially when I've seen their cakes on display I've admire for years with the cake decorating skills. I finally met one of the awesome cake decorator, Nicole Marquez. Really sweet mama indeed and she's very accommodating. I've referred a handful of customers to her that needed last minute cakes. And from all the customers feedbacks, she was able to accomplish all requests. I ordered a bday cake from Albertsons and showed Nicole the style of cake i wanted and she definitely delivered it. Albertsons in Placentia is basically the "I got you" grocery store of the neighborhood. Clean? Yep. Bright? Yep. Shelves stocked like they're prepping for the apocalypse? Absolutely. And the best part--plenty of self-checkout machines, so you can skip the small talk and scan your lettuce in peace. Now, the produce section... look, it's fine, but let's just say I've had longer emotional connections with spinach that didn't wilt overnight. BUT their bakery totally redeems them. The fresh French bread--especially right before dinner--comes out so warm and steamy it practically whispers, "Take me home." And I do. Every time. The staff is generally super nice and polite, though occasionally you'll meet someone who clearly fought an epic battle with their alarm clock that morning. No shade--I usually hit the self-checkout anyway, so we all win. Overall, it's a solid, reliable grocery store with everything I need for my everyday chaos--I mean, household needs. Had the worst experience at the Fullerton Albertsons yesterday afternoon 5/8/26. I always come to this Albertsons and love your bakery especially because of your employee by the name of Nicole. Well yesterday I stop by your bakery department and came across your rude employee Jeri. I just didn't appreciate the attitude and even overheard her using profanity and saw her throwing things around the bakery. This hasn't been the first time I came across Jeri being extremely rude to customers. I finally saw Nicole and appreciated her kindness and great customer service. This whole situation just made me feel like I didn't want to come back to your store anymore. If it wasn't for Nicole I would be going elsewhere. But I will continue to shop at this location. I just hope there will be consequences for this rude employee who knows nothing about being professional or customer service. read more

I was there today getting a cake and I asked for writing and the caucasian lady in the front of the bakery was so rude! She literally snapped her fingers at the ladies working in the back of her to help me. And she grabbed her water and proceeded to walk right past me. She was so rude and belittling towards the ladies. People should not be treated that way. Not a good look for the company. She should be embarrassed of herself especially at that age. DO BETTER!! The ladies that rushed to help me were such sweethearts but I will not be coming back to this store because of her. read more

Bathrooms are disgusting. They expect people that shop here to use a dusting bathroom. No urgency cleaning the bathroom. They do not care if you u are about to use the bathroom on yourself still won't let you use the employee bathroom read more

I had a raincheck from an Albertsons store about 3 miles away from this one. I typically shop weekly in this store and did not anticipate having any problems. The cashier Marissa refused to accept the raincheck saying it was only good at the store where it was issued. I asked to speak to the manager. He thought about it and decided to 'allow' me to use it. There were customers waiting in line and they were getting impatient and I was getting embarrassed. The whole situation was completely ridiculous. Marissa questioned why I didn't read the fine print on the raincheck which apparently says that it has to be redeemed at the same store where it was issued. Has any customer ever read the fine print on a raincheck? Seriously! After I was done paying Marissa proceeded to tell me again for at least the second or third time about the raincheck policy. By this time I was really mad. Berating a customer who is 50 years older than you about a raincheck? She should be ashamed of herself. I got the point the first time. Perhaps she should read the raincheck policy on Albertsons website that clearly states that you can take the raincheck to any Albertsons store. I wasn't in a bad mood when I started shopping but I was feeling pretty awful when I left. Imagine treating a customer like that over a raincheck? Just awful. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with the cake designer at Albertsons. I went in requesting a baseball-themed cake and showed a clear reference picture of what I wanted. Not only did the decorator fail to deliver what I asked for, but she was extremely rude to me. I was uncomfortable addressing it directly with her, so I asked my parents to go back on my behalf. Unfortunately, she was even more disrespectful toward them. When asked if she could make the cake look like the original picture we provided, she said yes--but then stated it wouldn't be ready until the next day and would cost more than the $35 I had already been charged for minimal decoration. She also insisted the reference cake used fondant, when it was very obviously icing, and dismissed my mom with the comment "I speak cake." That level of arrogance and disrespect toward paying customers is unacceptable. The customer service we received was unprofessional, unkind, and completely disheartening. I enjoy coming to the store is my primary store to come and shop for my weekly groceries for me and my family. Some employees are friendly. Some other employees could need a little bit of more training some of them act like they just hate being there. There's a Starbucks guy Latino looking guy with a beard usually works the night shift. That boy needs a little bit more of a training. He's just always rude. I stopped ordering from there if he's there. but it is what it is. I'll take my business elsewhere when it comes to my coffee. It's a clean store but when it comes to the restroom they need to pay a little bit more attention. The toilet paper is always on the floor. And always stinks other than that. The story is fully stocked. Veggies are always fresh fruit are delicious. A little overpriced, but it's a convenient store for me since it's around the corner, but they do need to pay attention to that restroom though. Pharmacy is good service. Roses flowers are point always fresh. read more

I was waiting in the car with my baby while my wife was grabbing a few things, and I got to witness something so refreshing and beautiful, it made my day. While an employee, Jasmine, appeared to be on cart duty, she saw an elderly lady parked right next to me and she rushed over to bring her a cart. She helped the lady out of her car and she spoke and laughed with her for about 5 minutes. It was just so nice to see and I wish I could have given Jasmine something in that moment because she deserved it. Hopefully she gets promoted for this sort of service that you just don't see much of these days. The least I could do was send my acknowledgment. Way to go, Jasmine! read more

If you're not a morning person, maybe you shouldn't be working the morning shift. I stopped by shortly after opening on Christmas Day morning to grab a Starbucks. The associate at the counter was busy wiping down the glass and didn't acknowledge me at all. I had to ask, 'Can I order something?' before he even went behind the counter to take my order. I ordered a white chocolate mocha, walked away for a few minutes, and when I returned, I overheard him talking negatively about me to a coworker who had just arrived. At the time, I brushed it off, but looking back, it was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I regret not speaking to a manager in the moment. This experience left such a lasting impression that I haven't returned since Thanksgiving--and I won't be returning to that Starbucks or this Albertsons again. read more

Having problems with Albertsons App I asked if they got all my discounts and she said yes but the sodas were not discounted costed extra $10.50 and I bought 8 piece chicken for my dad. Every time my ate the chicken he said it was like rubber & over cooked. After four days of complaining I took back but Manager would not talk to me. I will not go back for six months but drive by store twice daily. I will have to go out of my way like before. I believe the chicken stay to long in tray under heatwave and dry out. Probably my current favorite grocery store. I love their deals and rewards system on their app. I usually download and save coupons from the app and use that towards my purchases at the store. The store is super clean, organized, and the cashiers working there are really kind! I got here about once a week and always save about $50-$80 on brand name items. read more

My bakery secret is Albertson Cakes for birthday celebrations. The cake decorator Brenda did an outstanding job. Going through the cake book at store many toppers are sold out. I decided to go with Elsa from Frozen. My 3 year old went bananas as she saw her favorite character Elsa. The cake was white with fresh Strawberry & bananas very delicious. My cake pick up time was Christmas Eve. Cake was ready and held up good in my refrigerator over night for a Christmas Day Birthday. Thank You Albertson .. read more

Placed an order online for pickup, very very helpful service when I had to call on the phone to confirm something! I really appreciate the time and care. And when I pickup, they always come out to the car helpful and nice, not rushed. Also, every time I have had to use their bathrooms, they are clean. I'm grateful I can use their bathroom without have to march into the bowels of the back of the store. It's right out front! read more

Shopping is a chore or a great experience and today it was ahhhhmazing, thanks to Desiree in the Fresh Deli department! We had a crazy list of picnic items that most people wouldn't even consider asking for. My car died and they had everything I needed to open the battery! A screwdriver, funnel, and distilled water, they had it all! The staff even helped me open the packaging with scissors so I wouldn't hurt myself. My car was starting in no time! The bathrooms were also clean so that was a plus. read more

The service in this location has gone downhill. Everyone who works there seems annoyed or mad that customers have the audacity to shop there. Especially at the check out. No care is taken when bagging groceries. A few weeks ago they squished my bread while bagging it. This week the cashier was shoving and slamming my groceries into bags and she slammed my carton of milk so hard it burst and then she handed me the bag and tried to act like nothing happened. I noticed milk on the counter and asked if it was from my carton and she said she didn't know. That's when I checked the bag and there was milk leaking everywhere. I guess she was mad there weren't any baggers available. The manager ended up getting me a new milk but she was just as rude as the cashier. I just want to tell all the workers there that I'm sorry I ruined your day by shopping at your store. It won't happen again. read more

Albertsons off of Yorba Linda Blvd. in the city of Placentia this Albertson's has a large parking lot and which is nice two different entrances one on the northside and one on the south side of the building plenty of parking where do you go in there you'll also see if they have a Starbucks inside of Albertson's we came for the fried chicken the chicken here is a good deal they have a special going on right now eight pieces leg and thighs six dollars I would check it out also they have good deals. You can see they have a lot of items here to shop at the staff is friendly very nice people locations very clean so I really recommend taking them out I come here right after work I buy dinner here for the family then I head out to Long Beach when I get to Long Beach my food is still nice and warm chicken is real good also the potato wedges yummy talk about good food I took a few pictures so you can see what they have also the potato salads fresh delicious it's really good check them out read more

When I checked into Swarm, someone had a comment about the friendliest employees. They were right. They actually paid attention to me at the check out stand and thanked me for coming in. That's super unusual for me to experience at other grocery stores. This store is clean, well laid out (they actually split their aisles so you cut through the middle of the them rather go to the either end), and contains a full CVS Pharmacy. Another thing I love is their Branches bulk candy display! I remember these as a kid were you sample a piece of candy for nickel. I loved it and haven't seen one in years so was surprised when they had one. Now it's 2 pieces for 25 cents, but I got me 50 cents worth of candy. Sometimes that's all I need to make me happy. My only issue with Albertsons is they appear more expensive than others. However, friendly people can make up for that fact really fast. I just happened to be in the area or might shop here more often. Unfortunately, I live to far away to make a regular trip. read more

I like shopping later in the day because less people. However, they have been doing construction in the store, blocking off so many isles and starting construction work while the store is still open! How about let us get the stuff we need during business hours? This was at 9:30pm when they close at 11pm. I couldn't get half the groceries I needed because half the store was blocked off. To top it off, when I asked for the Disney pop things the clerk (trying to be funny) said "Aw, come on, you are too old for that!" He still got them, but it was very un-cool. Gross. MOLDY produce on every shelf, EXPIRED cans and boxed items lined up nicely on the shelves. DANGEROUS parking lot. Every produce item's sale price is twice anyone else's price. Except everyone else doesn't sell MOLDY bruised fruit for twice the price. I mean come on, this store management has no control over quality. Unless you are in the bakery or floral departments. Got called outside by an employee. Christmas Eve AM in the meat department, Joy the clerk was leaned over a counter writting something, sniffling, wiping her nose and face with her hand. When she acknowledged, I asked her for a salmon filet. She started to go in for it then I asked her to please wash her hands. She got indignant with me. After washing her hands and getting my fish, a clerk shelving product walked by and sarcastically said Merry Christmas to me I reaponded at first cordially, then he repeated it 2 more times. The customers stanging next to me were as visibly uncomfortable as I. I went to the front to ask for manager and was very upset at being treated so poorly. After speaking with the manager to explain the situation, I checked out. By this time the clerk from the backnof the store was upfront and mad dogging me. I stared back and the guy eas taunting me. He then asked if we needed to go outside. I made a scene at that pont because there were at least a dozen witnesses to the interacion and I loudly asked everyone present if they heard that. Still havent recieved a call from Albertsons corporate offices. The manager in a follow up call basically told me he gave them a talking to. Is this really where you want to spend your hard earned money? I ask you. I wish I could give negative stars. Been shopping here since it was a Kmart. read more

This is my local Albertsons. The store is clean, provides great service and their produce is far by the best in town. Now this review in general is about their bakery. I went to Albertsons in need of a wedding cake for my wedding. I did not want to spend $500 or more on a wedding cake because that is the start up price in any other bakery. When I arrived, I was helped by an amazing team member/ baker named Jennifer. Who provided great service and answered all my questions. She showed me their wedding cake catalog and my choice was a tuxedo chocolate cake. I placed the order for 200 people and was given an amazing price of $300. Because of her great way of being I left confident and knew my cake was going to turn out great. And my oh my how it did!! Our cake not only looked beautiful, but it was the best cake we have ever had! Our guest kept giving compliments about how delicious our cake was and they could not believe it was from Albertsons! No cake was left what so ever!! I highly recommend any soon to be married couple who are on a budget or simply want a great tasting cake to go to Albertsons. You will not be disappointed! read more

I have shopped at this Albertsons for over 20 years. Unfortunately, I won't ever be going back. I loathe checking myself out!!!!! When are stores going to realize that most people hate this experience? I had a cart full of groceries. The checkout lines we very long. They only open a couple of cashier lines thereby forcing people to check themselves out at the self checkout. I had to not only scan every single one of my items but I had to bag them as well. I used to enjoy shopping here. Not anymore! So, now I order from Amazon or shop at Trader Joe's where friendly cashiers and baggers make shopping a pleasurable experience. read more

Before I was going to post my own comment about my experience today at this location I wanted to look at other comments to see if anyone else had the same experience as I did. Well 3 months ago it seemed that people had some good experiences but 2 weeks ago and not so wonderful experiences and today my experience was absolutely terrible. When I first started to walk into the store with a shopping cart there was an employee who stopped right in front of the door staring at someone in the parking lot. So I went around him to only have another employee walk right in front of me to where I had to stop in my tracks and yet no one said hello or excuse me not a one. So I continued to get what I came for and I will tell you the customers were far more polite then any members of Albertsons here. So I went to check out and all they had was self checkout open and all my beverages I was buying all being the same flavor same UPC code I had to remove from my Cart and set on the register, oh and by the way all 4 employees that were hovering around the corner not one officer to help me, not a one. All it took was for 1 customer to say hi to me to make my conversation with customers more interesting than the employees. Albertsons ran Lucky into the ground they ran Sav-ons into the ground and now they are killing Vons. read more

The men working in the meat department butchers etc. need customer service training they are very rude and unprofessional , I just started shopping at the Diamond Bar Albertsons for about 6 months and have experienced this every time i shop there.
