Men's toilet is clean but has a big container on a corner of what looks like cleaning solution to me (shouldn't it be in utility storage?) and soap dispenser missing cap. I've been coming to this stater brothers for years, but today will be the last time I come here. There was a homeless man in line buying something if we're being honest hardly had a smell. While this homeless man was leaving a worker decided to come from the back with a spray and start spraying in front of the man AND BASICALLY BEHIND HIM WHILE HE WAS WALKING OUT TO LEAVE. This homeless man made a purchase so it's not like he was in there on bad vibes. I'm sorry but that was so inhuman and disrespectful of the employee. The employee could've waited for the man to leave. It simple human decency. What a way to make someone feel like shit about themselves. Nadia at the bakery off Iris is RUDE. I went in there for my daughter 1st birthday cake and she be little me since I was going in there for the FREE cake vs a paying customer. She swears it was coming out of her pocket little does she know it's probably a tax write off. It is such a pleasure shopping at this location. I sometimes dread going to the store after 5pm, because its usually crowded and lines are backed u with minimal open check stands. I feel pleased entering a clean parking lot, and welcomed being greeted by the security guard on duty as well as the friendly staff. The Store manager Will & Javier and the rest of the management team are always pleasant & helpful. I would like to give a special recognition to one of the managers by the name of Vougn. He is always a familiar face who often greets me with a smile and seems to be one of the fastest & efficient cashiers. Lastly, I would like to compliment the overall look of the store. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a a grocery store that provided a variety of organic produce and meats. As you arrive, ample parking thou wished more trees or covered parking since this area is hot in the summer. On your right side there is a sushi bar which looks legit, thou haven't tasted it yet. They have a deli with sushi (yay) and fresh breads which I'm looking to try out. Clean store, friendly and approachable staff, organized. Lots of produce and their organic section is limited unfortunately. Thou I am able to find kale, carrots, celery and organize lettuce and arugula. Prices can be pricey thou worth your health and they have weekly sales. I am impressed since I moved here from San Diego where I was spoiled walking to Sprouts or Trader Joe's was 1 mile away. Now, I am extra intentional when I go out because the closest grocery store is 3.5 miles. What impressed me is they have a good selection of almond milk, coconut milk, Tillamook ice cream. Yes, ice cream is my sweet spot and they have plenty of selections. When I cannot make up my mind I end up buying two different flavors and return to get two more. For two months I had 5 different flavors in the freezer. My favorites are chocolate, Oregon strawberries, cookies and cream. The hazelnut camel too! When Covid 19 was at a spike they took cautionary measures. Free bags and wiping down the carts. Now it's a little more relaxed: still wear your mask, you can bring your own bags which is sustainable and good for all and the environment they have wipes to clean your cart. Sprouts and Trader Joe's way too far to travel, so Stater Brothers will suffice. I do wish they have more gourmet items. Still like this store. read more

I just learned from an associate there my favorite worker was fired For his medical condition I really hope that isn't the case because that's discrimination against some one that has a medical condition they have no control over as an adhd person myself I always like him he would always stop what he was doing to help me do instacart we would talk sports and world events and the only one out of the entire store I knew would help me because I would ask the other Gms and they would kind of like push me off because there talking to much he was to good for staters anyway. I stopped in this Stater Brothers around 3:00 PM today 10/7/19. I was in the 15 items or less line and the lady in front of me had a basket that was full of groceries, well over the 15 max limit. So when I got to the clerk (Eric G.) I asked him what is the point of having a 15 items or less line if the employees are not going to enforce it when customers get in that line with more groceries then the allotted amount and this happens quite frequently at this Stater Brothers. His rude remark to me was, "Well I'm a fast checker." I told him that's not the point and I don't care how fast you check a person's groceries out, you should have enforced the limit. Unlike the old stater brothers I used to go to off alessandro and perris, it doesnt have that hot food section near the meat section where you can just take individual hot food items like corn dogs, burritos, chicken etc. or a makeup aisle, but everything else is about the same. Wasn't too happy with the service here at this location. First off I went to a 15 item or less counter with my 3 items and the couple in front of me had well over that amount of items. I stayed there hoping the cashier (Edwin H) would quickly ring them up and move on but it was apparent the cashier knew these people based on their conversation which lasted at least 10min. He then stepped away to grab a bottle of liquor for them and came back and continued to chat it up. Let's just say, I'm up to speed on the Raiders/Chargers game from the other night. Cashier clearly can't work and talk at the same time as he stopped so many times in-between to talk with his hands! People behind me moved on to other lanes that seemed longer and yet were out before I was even up. It's extra irritating when they make 15 items or less lines but don't enforce them. I was in traffic for almost 2 hours and had to deal with that, just trying to get home after a long work day. I wasn't even greeted by this cashier or given an apology for the long wait. Just moved into the area & this store is the closest to me and my first experience here was not the best , all the employees are talking in the middle of everyone trying to get in line. The cashier Edwin is super rude and looks like he's miserable working there didn't even greet me or make eye contact with me & was scanning the groceries extra slow. Horrible customer service. I called directly to Moreno Valley location to ask if there were any positions open because I am a college student returning home. Only to told a rude and harsh 'NO' by a manger! And if you can believe it, they hung up in my face as I was asking another question. I usually don't write reviews and I stick with the motto "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all", but this was completely uncalled for. Especially being a college student returning home from college and no ones hiring, we aren't getting any kind of stimulus check, and schools are still taking our money. Okay I'm going to tell you all about my 2 separate, years apart experiences at this location. The only 2 times I've been inside because the first kept me away, then the second sealed the deal. 1. Simple evening stop to pick up a few drinks. We were picking up a friend and since we were close by I said Sure! It looks nice, but it turned bad in a minute. There was an enraged vagrant outside. We could see he was covered in blood and had just beat someone up. It was pretty scary. But! Security locked us all inside the store. Cops were on site, handling the situation and staters security held the doors and told us we couldn't leave. My anxiety shot through the roof. Let me out. If I want to die, that's my choice. The situation was handled, cops handcuffed the guy, and yet here we were prisoners waiting for power trip guy to let us go. Needless to say I didn't come back until 2 years later last week... 2. Walk in because we were at Kaiser. Mentioned to my husband that I haven't been in here since I was held captive. I figure it's daylight, we are fine. Well we were except for the customer service aspect! Walk to the deli counter. Standing there while 2 employees chitchat. The girl who is going to serve us is facing away, so the employee behind the back said to her "you have customers" and the girl says "ughh" and turns around. Umm...hello, hi we are frequenting your workplace get over yourself! So rude. She was a younger girl with glasses. She's getting increasingly frustrated because we want 2 different cold salads, 2 cuts of deli meat, and 1 cheese cut. Wow, 5 things almost like we are about to have a picnic dinner?!?! She was so upset and rude about doing her job. My husband decided he wanted a crab salad but he didn't even ask because of her attitude. Cut to waiting in line. I notice at checkout the man checking us out is a manager. He was a tall, soft spoken black gentleman. Younger. I was going to say something because it was the most terrible experience at a deli counter ever. It's out turn to check out and I'm explaining what happened and he seems extremely distracted! Like he's smoked way too much ganja before his shift. He kind of repeats the details and verifies which girl. Then he gives us the potato salad free. I didn't want free potato salad. I will pay for the delicious salad. I want that chick to learn some customer service skills. I've worked I customer service for 10 years from food service, to retail, to phone operation. I shopped there yesterday and the store was IMMACULATE. I mean the floors were spotless. ..the shelves looked like they were ready for a commercial. The labels were faced perfectly and fully stocked. All of it was spot on....like I was shopping in a picture perfect store. I also liked the new uniforms. Blue easy to spot. ..a bit more trendy than the white but still professional. The Stater Bro's on Iris & LaSalle meat department customer service is horrible. They will look you in your face and say nothing. For some reason if they are cutting meat they fell they are not to stop to assist those that are waiting. I've spoken to the store manager about this a few times but still no improvement.
