This place is horrible. They hire people that are angry and disrespectful. I always buy groceries and always only one register is open and have to wait a big line . . I decided to pick up the dead leaves from the celery they always charge 59 cents but this black lady on the register charged me 2 dollars for it . I asked her to charge me as a cilantro and instead she said I picked it out of the celery stick and now she is goi g to have to charge me 2 dollars for it . Her demeanor felt hatred in her. This place is ok and does have bulk items. there is a smell however it's not bad, it's mostly an "old building" smell. the location isn't the best area but that's not something the store controls and it looks clean enough so I don't care. read more

It's Smart and Final, warehouse products no membership fees, you can find a deal here if your looking. They had coffee creamer name brand for $1 best deal ever. The place looks like a typical Smart and Final, walk in cashier register in the front, produce on the left, store is not that big but big enough, that's why they have small carts. How do you sleep on a local convenience. For some reason I always forget about this little neighborhood gem. I would've forgotten about them again had it not been for the new Ross Dress for Less that opened next door. Why go to Stater Bros when Smart and Final Extra is right next door. I'm glad I went. Fast and friendly service exactly what I needed and a few extra's all at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for. I wont sleep on Smart and Final anymore. read more

I like Smart & final don't get me wrong but they have a huge problem with retaining employees it seems like because every time I go I see someone new and someone who doesn't know what they're doing it's a shame but you have to blame management for that. Today I went shopping at Smart & final and spent about $70 last time I went was like a week and a half ago and I spent $100. One thing you really have to pay attention to is things they mark down because they will ring up at regular price that was the problem today and I was trying to be charged $30 instead of $6.66 ( I know each one $2.12) from $8.99 there were also manufacturer coupons on the items at first the cashier told me she couldn't do it but then I read the coupon to her and she did it but she had to get an override and that took forever and then she charges me an for 1 extra 2 Liter of soda i didn't receive. I still gave 4 Stars because of the products they sell but for some reason it seems to be a revolving door for new help. Anyways I'm not saying don't go shop at Smart & final but if something happens don't expect them to answer the phone so it's very important to pay attention to what they're ringing up. read more

The store smells like someone died as soon as you walk in which deters me from ever wanting to shop here but we have no other choice unless we want to drive 20 miles east or west. The cashiers are mostly friend but sometimes when I ask for assistance in looking for something the people who are stocking the shelves have major attitude and never actually are accurate in where I'm supposed to go. read more

My husband and frequently buy from this store, always have great stuff and good deals. I like the produce. So today my husb went by around 8am and said the store was closed. Said there was a a sign on the door that said they were closed...nothing official just a written note on the door. That's very odd, I told him he and the other customer should have called the police to do a well check....just in case. I hate that I am just now writing this, hope all is good. read more

It is so nice and convenient that they decided to build this location very near my house. This location is almost the same as the other location with cheap produce for the most part and sales on meat. Not everything is sold in bulk like some of the club superstores and warehouses. I have not been to the other location in awhile so I am unsure if the bulk food bins and wholesale boxes of food produce items are unique to this location or they are starting to accommodate raw vegans and businesses by offering produce by the box. Some items like bananas, onions, tomatoes, and potatoes are left out for easy pick up. Other items like bell peppers have a sign over them, you would just have to ask for assistance. I do not buy much meat anymore unless I am making something for my family-meat costs are becoming higher each day, but Smart and Final is able to keep their prices decent. Heck, the nearby competitors need to keep their prices competitive or they may not be around for long. Store is very clean and employees are all very nice. I will definitely start shopping for sale items here again! read more

Excellent customer service I want to take the time to recognize Sergio, the produce manager. So the store has a lot of bulk items that I absolutely love! The employees though are another story. Especially the cashier Samantha. I recently went, she was having a personal conversation with the security guard about her plans for after work. There was no greeting to myself. She asked if I needed bad and I replied "Yes please!" (My mom raised me to always be polite). She bagged everything except for my ice. I asked if I could also have my ice bagged. She threw the bag on top of the ice and proceeded to have a personal conversation with another employee in regards to being ready to go home. I called to complain and the manager and employee that I spoke to were just as rude as Samantha. At this point I would apply to show them proper customer service. read more

This place is ghetto! More than half the parking lights are off with sketchy people walking around. I came in to buy ribs for my Son's birthday. The rack is empty with a sign saying ask for assistance. I bought 5 racks not allowed to look at my ribs or pick out the ones I would have wanted before purchasing. (Yes it makes a difference) . If I had more time I would have walked out and went to a better S&F. Avoid this place if you can. I will never come back here. read more

I Just love this place it has everything that Costco doesn't. They always have great deals. My favorite is there wholesale business supply items like cup, plates, lids, trays. Welcome to the neighborhood...When this location first open it was truly a wonderful store to shop at, however since CVS closed next door it has become a scary and horrible place visit and shop. In addition, in the liquor area by the store manages office it always smells as if something has die and is rotting, shopping carts always litter the parking lot and the outside entrance to the front of the store has a tendency to look somewhat trashy at times. the manager of the night shift, 8pm, is very rude and very unhelpful. she didnt even give us a chance to pay with our checks and just took our bags away from us. she made it seem that we stole our own checks that we got from the bank. the assistant manager was the one who did understand and tried to help us to the best of his ability. read more
