    Dozen Chincoteague Oysters
    Dan M.

This was a large wood panel spot with lots of seating including outdoors. There was a good-sized bar present too. The menu was limited, but still a nice variety of options. The service was friendly while the food came out fast. For a starter, a dozen oysters were ordered. The oyster on the day I attended were from Chincoteague. They were extremely large and came out well chilled. These were tasty and appeared very fresh. For an entrée, I had the grilled swordfish. It came with an avocado shrimp salad and haricot verts. There was also an herb butter present on the fish. The piece of fish was on the smaller end but cooked ideally. The flavor was alright. The butter was tasted, but not enough seasoning was present on the fish. It tasted a little bland. The two sides also lacked in quantity. The avocado shrimp was also just decent. I also tried a crab cake, which was rather large. Again, this was not bad. Three more items I tried were scallop risotto, coconut rice and the old beach haven spaghetti. Yet again, all three were okay, but the spaghetti definitely was the preferred choice. The scallops were not cooked the best and was plain too as well as the coconut rice. Will I go back? Possibly.

Our server was friendly and the outdoor area is very cute. However, be aware that the brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays is not in addition to the regular lunch menu. It is instead of the regular lunch menu and is more limited. I was not blown away by the chicken and waffles and thought they were overly sweet. I have heard good things about the regular lunch menu so I would give this place another chance on a weekday next time.

Well, what can I say, it's very very hard to get a 5 star out of me, but this place did it! Very friendly service, awesome atmosphere, food was delicious, drinks were perfect, music was great, I can't think of anything negative. Prices were slightly high, but I don't mind paying when it good. So this place deserves it. We had a great time and I can't wait to return. Wife had the halbert fish with spinach and it was Devine. My Burger was gourmet and better than I expected. All the perfect. We ate outside, and glad we did. Thanks for a great time Station 117!

Still a great restaurant, it's very inviting as soon as you walk in the staff is very friendly and the menu is small. I've been here many times in the past and it never disappoints, very happy with this place. This visit I had the scallop risotto, cheeseburger, and the burada flatbread it was all delicious. The stand out was the general tso's cauliflower.

If you've never been here, let me save you the trouble…read more Knives and cutlery wrapped in a cloth dinner napkin. Butter already sitting on the table before you're seated, yet the bread arrives in a bag. Dirty plates and unused wine glasses left sitting on the table. Nothing about the experience felt remotely five-star--other than the price of the prix fixe menu. $148 for three courses, which I'd value at maybe $89 at any decent restaurant. The first course was grilled artichoke and lemon risotto. Small portion, buried under microgreens, and extremely heavy on the lemon. The first few bites felt like eating lemon-flavored grass. Eventually my taste buds went numb enough to push through it. The halibut was cooked properly, but was covered in a combination of sauces that simply didn't work for me--hummus, chili oil, and some other questionable flavor combination. Dessert was a key lime pudding with baby coconut and a cinnamon Pirouline cookie. Fine, but nothing memorable. Overall, an incredibly underwhelming dinner for the price. The food didn't justify the cost, and the service and attention to detail certainly didn't create a five-star experience. My favorite part of the evening was the entrance decor--and walking out knowing I won't ever have to come back.
