This pizza is to die for!! The service is great and a handful of employees thought the removal of blue cheese and the addition of ranch on the 'Tonka' was something they've never seen before. I've had my fair share of pizza "experiences" around the Twin Cities. It's almost as predominant as burgers, and that's a bold statement to make I realize, but damn if it ain't the truth. A good friend of mine happened to be celebrating another lap around the sun over the weekend and she always eats pizza on her birthday (that's a damn fine tradition of you ask me). Long story short--her hubby made plans for a few peeps to surprise her at this local pizzeria, lots of pies were ordered, they slapped hard, we were all impressed, I devoured an entire 12" pizza, etc etc. What I ordered: The Diesel ~ Pepperoni, Mozzarella, Fresh Jalapeno, Spicy Arbol Chile Red Sauce. **Just look at these cup pepperonis and generous amount of jalapeño! The spicy red sauce complimented nicely as well! Went here for lunch and we ordered the Diesel Pizza. It was super tasty! The service was excellent and they have a nice patio to sit on outside and just enjoy yourself. They have a small beer menu but they do have local beers which I can definitely appreciate. The venue is super cute as it is a old gas station and has that look and feel still. read more

Really 3.5 stars if I could. Full disclosure we did take out because of Covid and we were but did have a thermal bag to keep warm. There is no sitting inside, all outdoor on their patio. I'm glad we got it to go as unfortunately the music was horrible. There is not a takeout window as described in another post, it is 2 doors you walk into, same doors for both in and out. Restrooms are currently for dine in patrons only. We ordered online; their online order makes you pick a time for pickup. The online ordering system is nice outside of not having an ASAP and making you pick a time. They are only missing a "lightly cooked" option as they have a no cheese, extra crispy and light cheese option (which I assume means light on the amount of cheese since it is by light sauce). Since I have never ordered here before and the picture's look good, I left the order as is to chance it. We ordered a 12" pizza with sausage and basil and a Gluten Free Pizza which the menu says is 12" with sausage. They use the really small sausage crumbles on their pizza, we really like that so were very excited to try. We walked in right at our time, and our pizzas were ready under I hope is a heated area but where all pizzas were waiting for takeout. There were 2 people in front of me for to go also. Got our pizzas and went home. Once home the pizza's looked good, at first glance. They did not look overcooked or undercooked, the cheese was melted very nicely and plenty of sausage on the pizza. The gluten free crust was smaller than the regular 12" and honestly it looked more like a 10" pizza than a 12" pizza, I should of measure it, but it is similar in size to Davanni's GF and that is 10". I have the picture of both attached to see size difference. Once I got closer to my pizza, I noticed the edges on the bottom were a little on the dark side. Which that happens, but then I lifted the pizza up and underneath was darker than I like. It had many black spots, which I thought maybe that was from the wood oven, as I've had those, and you can't tell. But you could on this one, it was in every bit, that burnt taste, which some people do not mind, I am not one. So, I ate the toppings off the pizza since the entire crust was like this, to enjoy my meal. The sauce was fine, I wouldn't go as far as another review that said they nailed it. The toppings in my opinion make the pizza. The sausage is really good, and it brings the sauce to another level as the sauce doesn't have as much seasoning in it, but that sausage gave it flavor. I asked my co pizza eater about their 12" pizza, and he said it was good he had the same type of crust which he isn't as picky. I don't know that having fresher would have made the difference. We tried it, we supported a small business, it's just not our thing. But you should try it for yourself, again I'm picky so maybe it's just me. read more

We ordered our pizza to go but when we arrived we immediately wished we would have dined in. For a weekend, it was busy but not packed. There were a few empty tables on the patio and inside. The staff is young, polite and quick. Tables were full of all ages -- very family friendly. We had the margherita and meatball pizzas. The kids liked both. I really loved the crust, thin but able to hold all the toppings. I'd love to return and try their house smoked wings. I saw some on a table and they looked fantastic. COVID update: You can call for delivery or there is an online option for takeout. We opted for take out. We had cheese curds with marinara sauce, a cheese pizza, and a create your own pizza. The food was ready when promised and I walked up to the take out window and she handed it to me. The food was great. A word to the wise, the toppers are $1 each on the small, but $2 each on the large, so you might want to keep that in mind on a large if you want a variety of toppings. I used the takeout window, but you can walk into the bar instead. When we eat there in person, we got some fancier pizzas which I enjoyed, but I'm more of a traditional takeout kinda guy. read more

What great place! Stopped here with a couple of co-workers for a happy hour and did not realize this little Spot was here. Once gas station turned pizzeria, you would Never be able to tell what it once was. They have a specials board and very family friendly. We got there before 4 ( Happy Hour is from 3-6pm). Great food and drink specials and there is a specials board to look at as well. We ended up getting the Midwesterner (uh why wouldn't you with that name??). It is made with prosciutto, potato, gruyere cheese, rosemary cream, kale and shaved garlic. OMG! It was delicious! It was a quick Happy hour so we didn't order anymore food, but after just a couple of slices, yeah I need more. I love the European style pizza and this reminded me of my days abroad in France and Italy. The crust is thinner and crunchier and makes it seem lighter too and I don't feel as guilty eating more than one slice. A must to come back with the family. It is super kids friendly as well. We had a delightful night at Station Pizza! We went for the open mic night and enjoyed listening to some nice acoustic music and enjoying delicious pizza. Our table of 5 was seated promptly, with waters and menus at the table. The service was quick and easy with excellent customer service! We shared two salads and two large pizzas amongst the table and it was the perfect amount of food. We have been really trying to focus on small businesses during the winter shutdown. I hopped on Yelp and noticed this place had great reviews. Placed an order online and first available pick up time was 30 minutes later . The place was busy full of boxes waiting for pickup. Cheese curds were amazing 5/5- not greasy like most curds, great ratio of breading and cheese and loved the basil toppings. The diesel pizza was 3.5/5. Similar to other reviews it was big cut well so ended up having to do it ourself. We added Sausage like the crumble to have more protein. The sauce was minimal and did not notice any spice to the sauce all the heat came from the jalapeños. One side of the pizza was cooked longer than the other. Wasn't wowed away. Is it better than frozen absolutely, but wasn't memorable enough to order this one again. Will have to try another one in the future to see if I prefer it over the diesel read more

I live just down the road from Station Pizza and have always wanted to stop in. My hubby had been there once an said it was expensive pizza and nothing to write home about so whenever I suggested we go there, he preferred my home made pizza or frozen. I thought he just didn't want to spend more for a "good" pizza. I WAS WRONG. We picked up a pizza and salad and were disappointed with both. We had to hunt for the tiny diced beets in the beet salad and were overcharged from the listed menu price. Basic Sausage, tomato, basil pizza was embarrassingly crappy with only 6 grapes tomatoes, a bit of basil and I'd bet there wasn't 2 ounces of meat and not much more sauce or cheese. A friend introduced me to Station Pizzeria last Saturday, and I thought it was great! We started with the cheese curds and meatballs. In my opinion, the cheese curds were better than the ones you can get at the state fair PLUS they came with some sort of aioli and red sauce - delicious! The meatballs were good, but didn't compare to the curds. We split 2 pizzas between 4 of us - the Trifecta and the Midwesterner. The crust on both was perfectly crisp, and the toppings were plentiful. I thought the pizzas were a bit pricey for their size, but I understand they have quality ingredients and I left feeling satisfied. I really enjoyed the ambiance, casual yet kind of rustic in an old gas station. They have 1 TV in the bar area, which was perfect for our group during March Madness. Continue to love this place. Tonight I bought my kids for dinner. They both ate their meals, some pizza and asked for seconds. Service was amazing, patient and best of all, very, very allergy aware. We are nut free and the table next to us had nut, dairy and shellfish. Manager kindly explained the menu and options. Pizza salad pasta and chicken tenders were all very yummy.
