So I said well now I'd want my shrimp can you bring it to me and he said that's not what I ordered. So for the price of three shrimp, I already knew I would never go back there. $110 per person I think they can afford three shrimp. Food was okay, not stellar but we did leave hungry and for that price in Doylestown that shouldn't happen. Had one shot which was pretty expensive, would have drank more but after the shrimp incident we decided not to spend another dollar. I won't be returning. They don't seem to understand customer service at this restaurant. If you do decide to go in the future, make sure you're careful about any live entertainment. We were under the impression that we would be able to stay for the show that was happening at 6:30 but since we had an early reservation we were told we could not stay. When we made the reservation there was an option to check that we wanted to attend this and we were able to make that check on the software. Bottom line we spend our Valentine's Day angry about shrimp and disappointed we couldn't see a show we were expecting.

We visited this restaurant with a couple of friends after touring a nearby museum. I was quite hungry and excited to dine here, especially given its interesting location. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food, although the service was pleasant and the restaurant itself was appealing. There's plenty of seating available, including options in the bar area and outside. Service: Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating, which was impressive considering we were a group of ten. She managed the service exceptionally well. Food: We all ordered different dishes as a group, but my girlfriend and I specifically ordered: Blackened Mahi Taco: This dish was disappointing. It was light on flavor, the fish was overcooked, and the tortillas fell apart easily. Poutine Fries: This dish was not good at all. The brisket on top was cold, as if it hadn't been heated properly. The cheese curds were clearly an afterthought, not even melted properly, and the dish lacked flavor overall. It felt like an insult to traditional poutine dishes from Quebec. When we asked our friends how their food was, the overall feedback was less than impressive. Conclusion: I would not return to this restaurant, as the food was below average. Additionally, it was concerning to see 4-5 staff members taking breaks in the back dining area on the way to the bathroom. My wife and I meet at TapHouse once a week for Happy Hour and we love the staff, the atmosphere and the vibe. Wed seems to be our sweet spot since my wife is a wine drinker and they offer discounts on wine on Wed nights plus a nice selection. We enjoy the various spring rolls, pork tacos and we are addicted to the garlic fries. We like the TapHouse because we usually come with our friends or our kids on Friday or Sat nights for dinner. My wife swears by the arugula salad and I love their filet. My son loves their garlic hot wings and my daughter is partial to their angus burgers. I've been here for lunch, dinner, on the deck in summer and recently at a catered event-- each visit was very well done. Like all new places I saw some room for improvement during the first few months however I like the staff in place now especially Patrick, Chris and Katelyn behind the bar. We are booking a suprise party for my wife in February and in talking to Donna the mgr. there is a ton of parties already booked into next year so I guess their party room is being utilized as well. Finally, I didn't realize they had the NFL ticket until the eagles had a bye last week...that was very cool sitting looking at those nice TV's and enjoying a couple of fantastic Bloody Mary. I am pretty much "a regular" at STH. I go there twice a week and sit at the bar with my friend. Obviously, I've gotten to know the bartenders who are working on Mondays and Thursdays. They are all great! Jeff, Michael and Carl are friendly and always on the lookout for your needs. Chris, the manager, comes out to greet us and make sure we are happy. We are. But I must talk about what happened last night. It was the third anniversary of my son's sudden death. When we walked in, there, on the bar, was a beautiful flower arrangement just for me. I was so touched. Then a few minutes later in walks Carl, who was not working last night, with a magnificent bouquet of flowers for me. Who does that? I was amazed and humbled. Anyone who dares to say anything negative about any of these bartenders, or the manager I will set you straight. They are the best with great attitudes toward all of their patrons no matter how busy they may be. Their weekend specials are just that...very special and delicious. This place was huge. The restaurant is roomy but the tables are really small. My arms kept sticking to the table and there was this odd stench of like, a pond or creek or something. I found out later that this was because they wipe the tables with dirty rags. I got a rash on my forearms after we left and my doctor told me that it was from bacteria. So if the tables are that dirty, how bad do you think the bacteria is where they make the food? I was born in Doyestown, I live in Doylestown, I eat in Doylestown, but this is a place that locals never go...unfortunately I found this out too late, ugh!! read more

Came to Doylestown to visit my daughter at Del-Val. I made reservations at the Station Tap House, afterwards I found out that no one makes reservations at this place as its kind of like a huge cafeteria and has plenty of seating. I got the cheese steak egg role. It was OK. Ordered a Belvedere Tonic and it was watery and they forgot the lime. I'll say this, this restaurant seems to draw out the worst in people. Everyone, including the staff seemed, um well, angry. Doylestown has so many great places to eat, don't waste your time here guys. read more

The Station Tap House in Doylestown is an awesome place to hang out and they have one of the best beer selections in the area. I can't say enough about the awesome bartenders; they are very attentive and always super friendly, especially Carl. He has a great personality and takes time to greet the guests. No matter how busy the bar gets, Carl, as well as the other bartenders, do their best to make you feel welcome. Oh dear lord NO! Have you ever woken up on the wrong side of the bed, stubbed our toe on the way to the bathroom then fell down the steps on the way to get your cup of coffee in the morning? Well, that would best describe the way it feels to go to the Station Tap House for drinks and lunch. From our entire order, the only thing we got until we gave up was one round of beers and the dryest, nastiest fries ever to be deemed servable by any D rated restaurant. When you spend money at an eatery, you expect certain basics such as, food that isn't haserdous to your heath and service by people who want to serve. I ordered the Buffalo Shrimp and am feeling queezy and the bar tender and bus boy would give us this strange grimace when they'd drop off a dish as if they knew something we didn't. But, the reason why I'll never come back here ever again was well one reason. I was part of a group and we had this place suggested to us by a women who's son used to be a waiter. Things get a bit rowdy here in the evening. Lunch time was fine but lots of insects, seriously. I think the flies and ants at the bar are feeding off of the sticky residue left after they wipe it or something. Yes nasty! I drank beer out of bottles and I didn't eat the food. This place is about 2 starts out of 5. It's fine if you have kids but don't let them eat the food, they'll absolutely get sick. Also don't go for lunch in the bar, the bar tenders will completely ignore you. Go when there are several managers there so you can send food back if its bad. Only one other table came in while we were there, yet it still took nearly 10 minutes to find someone to seat us. We ordered two Steak Frites--one medium and one well done. Unfortunately, the medium steak came out rare, and the well-done steak was closer to medium. The garlic sauce was only lukewarm, not hot, and both steaks were tougher and fattier than expected. While our waitress was friendly, the overall service felt disorganized and inattentive, with staff seemingly stretched thin and focused on tasks other than guest care. Another group also struggled to get seated, and basic service details--like checking on tables or refilling drinks--were overlooked, leaving us feeling largely ignored throughout the meal. After seeing how undercooked my steak was, I decided I didn't want another one. Instead, I reordered the BBQ burger. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive until my spouse had completely finished eating. The burger itself was just okay, but the frizzled onions were extremely stale, and the bacon was overcooked, with parts of it burnt. To their credit, management removed the Steak Frites from our bill and gave us 50% off the burger, which we appreciated. However, for the prices they charge, the overall quality of the food and service simply didn't justify the cost. They also charge a surcharge on top of that if you use a credit card. Tipping should reflect the quality of service provided, and in this case, the experience did not meet expectations. If you're going to remain open until 9:00 p.m. and later, there should be enough staff and experienced kitchen personnel to provide the same level of service guests would expect earlier in the evening. Overall, this visit fell far short of our previous experiences. We left disappointed and hoping this was just an off night, but based on this experience, it's difficult to recommend.

My husband had a burger which he said was delicious, and made exactly as ordered. I had a chicken quesadilla which was also delicious. I ordered the quesadilla because I was not that hungry; I was not prepared for the very large plate I was served. We had the rest of it for lunch today. The bartender, Vicki, was very nice and was also very attentive. They were having Trivia night, which we did not realize before going inside. But it was not obtrusive or blaring at all. Overall we really liked the place and definitely plan to go back.
