Friendly little spot with a good beer selection, and wine. Great food too- pizzas, burgers and European fares.

The food is only a three. The waiter/bartender gets full marks for service though. He was the only one and was super busy around lunch time but he was doing his best. He was very friendly and his knowledge over the menu was good. Probably helps he was from Paris. I tried to be daring and get the escargot and the quiche. Everything was super hot. Escargot was okay. The quiche was a little well done.

Pag's Pub has some unsavory reviews on here, so I must catch them on their good days. My boyfriend and I frequent this spot when in Doylestown and have never had a bad experience. I'll say - we've never been there during prime dinner or lunch rush hours though, nor when there's a major crowd. We've only had to wait once and were seated within five minutes. It's a small eatery though - it's a pub, after all - so I can see how that could affect the experience on a busy day. ANYWAY - food. We always get the grilled Greek cheese. You need to eat it as soon as it's served, while it's warm, and it's delicious. The antipasto is also tasty to start. We usually split a pizza for our entree and always land on the Di Parma. It's thin crust, brick oven pizza and perfect to split with someone after having an app or two. They also have a nice beer selection. The last time we went, the bartender was very helpful with navigating what they have on tap and made good recommendations. We'll continue to return to Pag's Pub because it's always treated us well! We usually end up going early afternoon, around 2pm-ish and that seems to be the sweet spot. We always leave comfortably satisfied!

    Nice beer selection.

We went here for the first time on Friday night. We stopped for happy hour. They had a nice beer selection. It was very small and doesn't have many tables. Mostly bar seats. We shared the margarita pizza and escargot. The pizza was pretty good, but took forever to get. The escargot was ok. I wish I had a big roll to dip in the the oil. The staff is very quiet not unfriendly, just quiet. By the time we left around 7:00, the place was very crowded and loud. Just a bit to crowded for us.

The food and drinks are unique and delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant. The prices are reasonable.

This is a local version of an overpriced European cafe. Service was friendly, although we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated since all six tables were taken. I had a prosciutto sandwich and a Guinness, and my wife had a personal pizza and a Coke for which we paid just under $35 (dollars, not euros). The quality was nothing to write home about, just average. Parking was impossible in the area, which is why we decided to try this place as we intended to go to another restaurant that had gone out of business.

Food was poor and the cocktails were terrible. Friendly staff but not enough to save the experience.

The building is very historic with a small and lively bar and a narrow winding staircase to get to the quaint second floor area where we dined. Most of the tables had a sofa seating option and some eclectic groupings of chairs. Our server was friendly and efficient. We planned to begin our meal with the grilled octopus (that had an interesting preparation including broccoli rabe and raisins) but they were out of the octopus. We pivoted to the fennel salad which included shaved cheese, celery, pine nuts and a zesty lemon dressing. We'll try the octopus next time but we were very pleased with the salad. For our entrees we enjoyed the grilled scallops and the sea bass. Both were delicious. Highly recommend The Salt House.

A Taste of Abruzzo in Bryn Mawr ?…read more Exit 13 isn't just a restaurant -- it's a warm, home-style escape straight into the heart of Abruzzo. The moment you walk in, the vibe hits you first: vibrant colors, rustic touches, and an ambiance that feels like stepping into someone's family dining room back in Italy. It's authentic, comforting, and alive with culture. The food? Unreal. Their **homemade bread** sets the tone -- rustic, fresh, and full of that old-world character. The **pizza** is on another level with dough that's so good it almost steals the show. Every pasta dish carries that handcrafted feel, the kind that tells you the recipe didn't come from a cookbook -- it came from memory. Appetizers are just as impressive, but the **grilled octopus** stands out as a true star. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and proof that Exit 13 puts heart into every dish. This is the kind of spot where the atmosphere and the food work together -- where the vibe feels like home and the flavors taste like heritage. Exit 13 doesn't just serve Italian cuisine. It brings Abruzzo to life. **A must-visit for anyone who loves real, soulful, authentic food.**

The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time so maybe it's just not for us.
