At first I was a little nervous - I couldn't find much of an online presence for Accomplix. However, I was able to find them registered with the state. Vikki was very polite and helpful when I expressed my concerns, and so I decided to hire them to do an on-site repair of a broken hutch door. Kerry and his assistant were so friendly and professional and did such an excellent job with my hutch that I knew I could trust them with my teak patio set, which they picked up and refinished at their warehouse. Unfortunately, I was unable to attach photos here - but they do not do justice to how beautiful this set now looks, thanks to the Accomplix team. So, I said OK. I bought more fabric at another place to ensure the next purchase of fabric wouldn't be lost. When I took that in, they told me they had no record of my buying fabric or having a credit. Then, I showed them their paperwork and the receipt from American Express which I had taken a photo of on my phone. They told me that they did not believe it because it was not the yellow piece of paper they had given me originally but just a picture of it. I was OK with their losing my fabric. I am not OK with them not honoring the financial agreement. I asked to be reimbursed. They refused to do even this. So, I'm taking this up with American Express. One other thing is I asked them about their recordkeeping. I was told they didn't really keep records. I explained they needed to in order to file taxes and then to keep the records in case of an audit. I was told they didn't bother with any of that. It all seemed very unorganized and suspicious to me as well as my adult son who was with me.
