I had a broken zipper on my couch cushion, called them and they were available. I dropped my cushion off on a Saturday and requested a turnaround time of Tue/Wednesday. They called on Tuesday for me to pick up my cushion and it looked just like the day it was delivered. I was pleased with their work and will use them again. Also, with this being my first time using them ... they seemed consistently busy. A good thing in my opinion... looks like I'm not the only one who believes they have quality work. Only gave them 4 stars because it was my first time using them, but I could increase it after I have used them several times. read more

Roberto Perez of Edga'rs Upholstery and fabrics agreed to upholster the seats of 6 dining chairs for a set amount which included coming to my house and removing seats from chairs and then returning upholstered seats to my house and installing seats back in chairs. He refused to keep his word and return these seats to my house and reinstall them in chairs as he agreed to do even after receiving full payment for his work. I had to go by his business and pick up these seats and now will have to find someone to reinstall them in my chairs at an additional expense. He will leave you hanging and will not fulfill his agreement or complete his work for you. Average work quality. I do not recommend this business at all. Less Larry H. read more

Just before Christmas, my husband took our leather sofa cushions to be restored to feel like the cushions on our matching leather love seat (smaller size) which is not broken down and is still as originally purchased. I made sure the love seat cushion was taken in for analyzing the insides, to be sure the new sofa cushions would be the same and similar to the loveseat cushions' feel. My husband was asked to "choose" the cushion density foam from different samples, different densities. He knew we needed more firmness, but HE isn't an expert, and apparently chose the wrong thing. Our finished cushions are VERY hard. Feels like sitting on a hard leather bench, like airport seating. The loveseat "gives" and has a curved front edge and a pillow-like feel added ABOVE the foam, whereas the resulting sofa has a hard 90-degree EDGE and certainly no pillowtop above for softness. Our sofa is now very uncomfortable. NOT AT ALL LIKE THE MATCHING LOVESEAT. Very disappointed at the money wasted. We thought we took it to experts in cushion repair, rather than try ourselves, but the "experts" simply asked him (non-expert) to choose a cushion, then slipped the cushion into the zippered leather case, and never tried to make it like the loveseat. I could have ordered foam myself and done as well, for less. I trusted Edgar's to use their knowledge to make it like the loveseat, not waste my money to end up with very hard, not sofa-like seating. read more

I brought in my cushion covers to my antique couch that I had recovered years ago. We use this couch daily and the material on the cushions were coming apart at the seams from washing. I had two 1960s wing back chairs I needed reupholstering. They were my great aunts so they had special meaning for me and my mom. He quoted 4 weeks because he had to order the fabric. I chose the fabric there. The price was what I was expecting. I went back after 4 weeks and he had not started. It was a snafu but I had tI me and was more interested in getting it right. I went back about 3 weeks later and they were gorgeous. My mother is thrilled. Definitely go for the quality job they do but maybe just check in regularly as they Use a paper system which can cause issues. read more

Worst customer service EVER. We dropped off a couch cushion to be repaired and were told it would take a couple of weeks. SIX weeks later it is still not done. I called on a Wednesday and said I really need the cushion back because we are having a party this weekend. She said they had to order the foam insert which took a while. Fine I tell her. She says it will most definitely be done by Friday and I will call you when it is done. I never hear from her. Saturday afternoon, I call and ask if it is done so I can pick it up. She says, yes the cushion is done but we close in 5 minutes. It was 2 o'clock and the website says they are open til 6pm. She says "yeah, we changed the hours a while ago but never updated the website." I told her that was awfully unfair to her customers. I asked if she could please stay an extra 15 minutes, that I would get in the car and head up there immediately but she said no. She asked if I would like to pick it up Monday, and I said "I guess I don't have a choice right? You told me that you would call me when it was done and you never did and now you are closing earlier than your website says. This is very frustrating". All she says is "I know." So we put our couch away for the party since we have no cushion for it and on Monday morning I show up and she says "I heard you were told the cushion was done but that was a mistake." She was the one i talked to so she knew then what was going on and just flat out lied to me when i called over the weekend. I said fine, just give me the cushion. She says she can't because they already started working on it and she can have it done in 30 minutes if I can wait, which I can't. I said let me see the cushion. She brings it out and they haven't even started on it yet. All they have done is cut the foam to fit in but they haven't repaired the torn fabric. She assures me that it will be done shortly so I agree to come back in 2 hours. I show up exactly when I say I will and shocker, it's still not done. She claims that they are finishing right now and will only be a couple more minutes. THIRTY minutes later I said I have to pick up my child from school. This is ridiculous. How much longer? Her response: only a couple minutes. I told her to stop lying to me for once and just be honest and quit wasting my time. She then says it will probably be another 20-30 minutes. She then says "it's a really easy job and won't take much longer." Well if that's the case, why has it taken six weeks and countless lies and trips up here to get this darn cushion fixed? Not once has she apologized for the inconvenience or offered me a discount. The only thing she offered me was a pillow, which I don't need and turned down. All I want is some money back for the hassle and my couch cushion. Now I have to drive back again and hope that it will actually be done this time. I can't attest to the company's quality of work bc I have yet to see it, but their efficiency and customer service is a complete joke. BEWARE!!! read more
