Decent enough pizza but I only came here because Lenny's was closed. Dude who sounds like he smokes 10 packs of cigarettes a day answers the phone and when I ordered a "half pepperoni/half cheese", he decides to be a smartass and say "All pizzas come with sauce and cheese"... DO THEY ?? Damn I did not know that ! I just wanted half the pizza to be cheese and sauce, and the other half to be just pepperoni with no sauce or cheese ! That stupid sarcasm has no place in customer service, and should be left in New York. We had a great experience at Stavro's pizza. The pizzas were flavorful. I especially liked the traditional cheese pizza. The garlic knots are a bit small but the dipping garlic oil was yummy. My friends ordered a huge plate of pasta- Manicotti/shells/spaghetti style combo and it looked really good (sharable portions). read more

Ordered the lasagna, Greek salad and a small Greek pizza. Got there as they were bagging up the order. Sorry to say I saw a disgusting scene. None of the employees were wearing gloves, masks or hats (hairnet). During the covid19 this is unacceptable. Employees handling food with bare hands. No social distancing either. Ordered the White Pizza, a Pepperoni and an All Meat. All were really good, particularly the White. The crust is a nice, crunchy and yet doughy crust. The Greek Salad may have stolen the show, and we probably could have done fine without the pizzas because of it. Perhaps they could spare a few more olives, but no real complaints there. The meatballs came highly recommend by the shop and were good, but not very good or great. The sauce is the star in that side dish. Food was hot and cold is it should have been and was ready for pickup on time. The staff were obviously in a bit of a disagreement when we arrived, but our service wasn't impacted... just sorry for "you two" who were told by the cashier "I don't have anything to say to you two" as they approached her while we were checking out. I have been visiting this location for over 25 years. First when I was a teenager and now when I am an adult. The quality of the pizzas is the same as I remember, GREAT! Customer service story. After driving all day to get to our condo, searching for a place with pizza. They closed @9pm we called at 9:04. They agreed to do a pickup order which was perfect. As we are pulling into our condo we get rear ended, driver speed off, we chased the car. Turns out driver was drunk, we called the cops, driver fled before cops arrived. So we called Starvo's to explain and they deliver to the house where we were waiting. We had a pizza party in the car, while cops did their thing. Thank you!! read more

I've ordered delivery far many more times than I've eaten in but I recommend eating on location and order a 1\2 carafe of house red. Its very cosy and the service is great. Food is great too. I enjoy the pizza and gyros but I do not like the Stromboli. I've had it twice and I just don't care for the was the ingredients are prepared. I do love the gyro's though! read more

This restaurant was right across the street from where we are staying and it was not only delicious, the staff was very delightful and welcoming. Sadly, I can't give them 5 stars or even 4 stars. The pizza was decent for a little hole in the wall, but I observed the manager/owner being extremely rude. He didn't even let this lady get her receipt to sign before he wanted her to move and get to his next customer. They were not busy either. Both of the customers were outwardly put off by how rude he was. He then had no problem demeaning his employees, and the vibe in there was full of tension and far from a pleasant, family environment we were looking for. It was so cluttered with a gigantic pile of pizza boxes floor to the ceiling. We enjoyed dinner here recently after my mother-in-law raved about the Greek salad. My in-laws specifically recommended this location of Stavros. I've not been to the other locations and can't verify those, but this location was indeed fantastic. My husband and I each ordered a Greek salad, and I split a club sub with my mother-in-law. The Greek salad is amazing! You get a lot of salad for a great price - the meat is sliced right, you get an ample amount of toppings, and the dressing that comes with it is tasty. The club sub was good. My toddler had spaghetti, and she devoured it. As a mom, the spaghetti wasn't as messy as it could be thanks to the thick sauce. I can't remember our server's name, but she was very friendly and attentive. Absolutely great experience here - will definitely return. read more

Been a customer for 30 years ordered a pizza last night for pick up bill came to $12.78 I went in to pick up my pizza gave her my credit card she ran my card asked me to put the amount in asking for a tip I refuse to tip put no tip on it. Checked my bank account this morning I was charged $17.78 I went back to the store this morning to let them know that I was charged $5 tip. The gentleman told me that whoever batched out the credit cards last night must have added a $5 tip on the my bill. They refunded me $5 to my credit card question is how do they think they can just charge my card five extra dollars at the end of the night not thinking i would check it. Question is how many other people has it happened to. Pretty shady. No I'm not cheap I realize it's only $5 that's not the point the point is they tried to get away with charging someone $5 more hoping they wouldn't see it. Why no tip you ask? Ok I drove there and picked it up other than them making it it and handing me the box there was no service involved. Do you tip at the drive thru? I think not. I am always amused when restaurants declare they have the best whatever of the county. It ain't saying much, depending on what you're comparing them with. The famed Greek salad was just what it said on the menu (I got a 'personal' size, as opposed to 'small' and 'large') - some chopped iceberg salad, 2 kalamata olives, 1 slice of tomato, 3 rings of onion and lots of feta and of their special dressing. It was good, but nothing to rock my world. The pizza was very good, fresh and tasty. We customized ours and it was really delicious and huge, and not too expensive. The place itself is weird, with formica tables that smelled of chlorine, all-plastic dishes and cups, and a shabby air about it. The service was prompt and courteous, all moved quite fast.
