Decided to stop in for an early lunch recently based on reviews. Very clean and well laid out dining room with a counter showcasing desserts. Service was good - we had lots of questions about the menu and she took the time to answer them all. Everything is "house-made" including smoked meats which is great. I had a chicken salad sandwich on grilled rye bread - very good! My only negative is it had a little too much mayo for me (but that's personal preference). Fairly new place. Art work on the walls give it a beachy look. Service was spot on and really didn't have want for thing. Started with my usual coffee and my normal breakfast. 2 eggs over medium potatoes (really good ones) sausage and english muffin. Eggs were perfect and everything was great. Service was slow. I ordered seltzer water and took over 10 minutes to get it. For some reason Florida doesn't know what seltzer is, you have to call it soda water. I ordered tuna melt. Super cute spot. We were seated right away. Our waitress was really sweet. Food took longer than I anticipated but I realize that it is scratch kitchen. My kids didn't like the eggs, and they did have a different taste than I'm accustomed too. Overall nice diner type spot. read more

Had to run errands in Ormond and bribed the wife with lunch. Great little find! Owner made an appearance, waitress was great and food was excellent. I had the patty melt and house-made chips, both are really delicious. My veggie wife had the egg and cheese biscuit and hash browns and loved 'em. Cool diner vibe with reggae on in the background. We were in Ormond Beach today at Lunchtime and wanted something different. Got on Google and asked where was best Gluten Free near me? Good Vibes Scratch Kitchen came up. I looked at menu and reviews. There was a review by somebody that had a Cuban with Gluten free bread and it was 10 out of 10! Thankyou for that review. We went there and split one with a salad and coleslaw. If was Great!!! Loved it! Cody our server was awesome. She did everything right and more. Very pleasurable Lunch with great food. 5 stars for the beignets - start your meal off with a full order (4 beignets). 5 stars for the fries - crispy on outside, good seasoning. 3 stars for other food items that were deemed "just okay" by our table - my side of avocado arrived to the table brown and was starting to taste funky & the kids' chicken tenders were "too spicy" for a three year old. Ate here with a group of ladies for a luncheon and everyone was impressed! Service, food and clean bathrooms. I had the kale Caesar salad with blackened salmon, which was cooked perfectly and the kale was massaged to perfect tenderness. But the best part was their homemade croutons!!! Crazy but true! This is nothing on the establishment, service or food!! We will definitely be back (& get the deviled eggs!!) Service was great, food was good but who I assumed was manager on duty was being extremely loud & rude to his staff. It was making us very uncomfortable with the comments he was making. Always looking to support the local places. My wife and I have been here about 10 times for breakfast. Always greeted pleasantly. Servers are very good and quick. Pancakes are great, they have a little sweetness to them to the point you really dont need syrup. I would like to see a couple changes. The ketchup is a cheap quality. My opinion, there is only one ketchup. I had an English muffin with my good vibes breakfast. I also think this is low quality. The last time we were in there, the bathroom needed major attention. That is something a lot of restaurants dont keep tabs on for some reason and is a major turn off. Could be a onetime thing. This place is the bomb!!! Our waitress was super nice and efficient. But let's be real idc about that bc the food was absolutely incredible. Everything was so fresh and usually eggs give me the ick but this was the best omelet I've ever had. I got the west coast vibes with hashbrowns. Also. You CANNOT miss out on the sausage gravy or biscuits and gravy. That gravy is packed with lots of sausage and flavor. It's smoky and homemade and tastes like my grandmothers from Texas. I went there yesterday to check it out. The ambiance was nice, good music playing, but not too loud. My server was friendly, and quickly greeted me, and took my drink order. I chose the Good Vibes Omlette, with the country potatoes. Both were delicious...the omelet was cooked just right, stuffed with toppings and even folded into kind of a burrito shape (if you know what I mean?) The country potatoes, which I highly recommend, were browned and cooked with onions and peppers, and seasoned perfectly. I say.. try this place... Service was great the minute we walked in. The owner walked around and checked on everyone. Very clean inside the restrooms and as well as the dining area. Beach Themed throughout, food was served fast and hot! Prices were not bad and portion sizes were more than enough. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Try it out and see for yourself. read more

When a local gem! I'm so happy Good vibes came to Ormond! We desperately needed a delicious (non franchise) breakfast/lunch place! They did not disappoint everything we have tried on their menu so far has been fantastic, especially the huevos rancheros, and their homemade corn beef hash (to die for) The service is always prompt. The staff super friendly and we love the surfer decor with surf videos playing in the background to boot! This has become our new Ormond favorite and will continue to be! The atmosphere was friendly. The service was quick even though there was only one other customer in at the time. As for the food, I had to send the sausage links (by the way I was served 3 halves instead of 2 links) because they tasted rancid. The waitress returned and said the cook tried one and said it was the flavor of smoked sausage. Rancid or smoked I know the difference. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and tasted rubbery because of it. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
