Quiet, Clean, Comfortable, and did I mention quiet. This place is super cute, clean and comfortable. It was easy to find and about 5 miles past the Justin Winery. I highly recommend for a peaceful night and morning. If you enjoy viewing wildlife there are deer and turkeys everywhere. Beautiful sunsets and just a great place to relax.

We had the absolutely best time staying at the Dart Ranch. From the ease of checking in, to the comfortable bed. This is the perfect place to unwind and unplug. The scenery is straight out of a movie. We had the pleasure of meeting Jack, Trooper, and Barb during our stay and we are so glad we did! You will not be disappointed with your stay here. We are looking forward to going back already!

Stay here. Do it. It's such a treasure amongst the Paso Robles area. Justin winery is too close to not stop in and come home with a few cases of wine The drive up was incredible, turn up the music and cruise through the hills. The ranch is 40+ acres of incredible 360 views. The property makes you feel transported to a different country, or time, where the stars, and satellites are totally visible. BUT if you're like my hubby the telescope (which they have on property) makes it THAT much more insane to see. It's breathtaking escape from the fast pace reality of life, where one literally is willing to stay UNHITCHED! The Dart's are incredibly welcoming, assuring you are a part of the family. All of the dogs are more than willing to be your best bud or share a snack. The stay at Unhitched, was nothing short of beautiful and soul recharging. Hospitality, fresh air, trails for days, wild turkeys if you're lucky to find them, a gorgeous room (that Chip and Joanna would be envious of!) stars that feel within reach, and hosts that love to share the beauty of their land with all whom are in need of a reset or a fabulous place to wine taste and enjoy some R&R, it's all here. Whatcha waiting' for?!

This quaint place is just what the soul needed!!! Everything was perfect. The hosts were attentive and made sure we were comfortable. We saw all kinds of wildlife in their own habitat which made for a whole other experience. The accommodations were perfect and the room had all of the nice touches and more. We will be back!

I love this place! It is beautiful, quiet, and so peaceful. The hosts are so accommodating and have everything set up for a fun time away. There is a little creek you can walk down to while exploring the property and at night, a fire pit to sit by to unwind and relax. Don't forget to look up at the millions of stars. It really is incredible! If you want to leave the property, there are many wineries close by, downtown Paso is cute and quaint, or the marina at Lake Nacimiento is just an easy 30 min drive. We took our dogs and went paddle boarding, which was really fun. We felt so comfortable at Stay Unhitched and will definitely be back!

What a gem this place is!!! Set on a ridge in an oak grove above the franklin river and Right in the middle of my favorite part of Paso Robles wine country, I couldn't have asked for more. Beautiful, peaceful, a comfy bed , and nice accommodations in brand new trailers. I loved sitting by the fire at night watching the stars after wandering the wineries during the day. With only a few trailers, we had the whole place to ourselves

I have only done 2 Yelp reviews I think in my life. (not a big fan of Yelp for lots of reasons), however, I felt compelled to brag on behalf of Stay Unhitched for the awesome experience my fiancé and I shared this past weekend. It was great from start to finish. Trailers were super clean and fresh. You are definitely out in the backcountry of Paso so be prepared to enjoy that. it's awesome. Pre-plan your food better than we did. Its a drive for food. Bring plenty of your own. Thanks for the hospitality! We will be back. read more

We've had amazing times at the Dart Ranch twice so far. Doug and Shelby are caring, gracious, and generous hosts. We stayed in a camper in September 2022 and the gorgeous house in October 2022. The house was so charming and heartwarming, even my kids reminded me to take notes on the beautiful decor for our home. Doug and Shelby impressed us the most with how they took care of us, when our camper had an AC issue during a record hot weekend. Doug repeatedly came to our rescue, and did everything in his power to make sure we were comfortable on short notices. How a business owner responds to unforeseen circumstances is the most important indication of their integrity and customer care to me. I am beyond grateful for how they handled the situation and took care of us. I highly recommend the Dart Ranch for luxury camping and countryside experience in the gorgeous Paso Robles wine country. This place is a true gem. read more

Amazing place to get away and still be close to the Calif coastline. My bestie and I are bi-coastal besties and we came here to just relax and catch up. It did not fail us! From the luxury bedding to the wildlife, you wont be disappointed. The host and hostess couldn't have been any more helpful including saving us because we forgot extra ice. Just did a girls weekend get-away at Dart Ranch - a true Glamping Mecca! Our camper had everything we needed, and the outdoor fire pit area and BBQ was icing on the cake. We did the surrounding areas - wine tasting one day, one day at the beach - and back to lovely evenings around our fire pit. I recommend this fun glamping experience. (One note: the top bunk is not easy to use - the person who sleeps up there needs to be agile...LOL) read more

A glorious and serene retreat in Paso Robles! We spent two nights in the family trailer, it was impeccably clean, and stocked with every essential we could possibly need, dry shampoo, hair ties, first-aid kit, dish soap, dishware, pots, pans, keurig, etc. etc.! You can relax on the patio and enjoy the natural surroundings, then go back inside and cook a meal (or use the outside kitchen), or bring DVDs to watch the on the large screen TV. The bunk beds were a hit with our kids, and we did not feel cramped at all! My husband is 6'2 and had plenty of headroom. The bathroom/shower were surprisingly spacious too. There are plenty of nearby trails to explore, we saw a few deer and a turkey and the firepit outside was a nice way to end the evenings. When you arrive, you are greeted at The Dart Ranch, a modern farmhouse beauty, and the owners could not be more accommodating. Whether you plan to visit the wineries, Lake Nacimiento or just "unplug" with the family, stay here, you will not regret it! read more

Glamping is the great but with Stay Unhitched it was even better. The hosts were great and they even had a sweet kitty that greeted us. The accommodations were comfy and we loved sitting outside by the fire pit listening to the frogs and looking up at the stars. We loved it! read more

Are you looking for the unique experience? This is it. We just celebrated my husbands birthday in Paso Robles and stayed in the stable room at Stay Unhitched, located in the countryside just minutes from Justin Winery. The stable is darling, clean, fresh and comes with a daily visit from Trooper & Jack the labradors and Black Kitty and Katniss. After a day of wine tasting, shopping Downtown and exploring the dining experiences come back, uncork a bottle and sit outside in the common area and enjoy the silence. The only sound you will hear is from the variety of birds singing. COVIVD free zone - no valet parking attendants, no front desk or on-site bars and restaurant staff. We definitely will be back - SOON. read more

The Dart Ranch is fantastic! A quiet, spacious, and calming place to stay. The room was very clean, stylish with lots of lovely touches, and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The location was great with beautiful scenic views, we spotted deers in the distance, what a visual treat. The Hosts kept communication with us, and were very informative of Winery's near by, as well as local shops, grocery stores, restaurants that can be visited. We would highly recommend this wonderful place to stay. And are looking forward to staying here again. read more

My stay at the Unhitched property was fantastic. From start to finish, the hosts, Doug and Shelby, were incredible. They made sure our getaway was relaxing and enjoyable, providing everything we needed to stay entertained. The property itself was well-equipped with various amenities such as towels, shampoo, hand soap, utensils, etc. We had a blast with the Frisbee goal posts, enjoying some friendly competition. The hammock was perfect for lounging and soaking in the tranquil surroundings. The corn hole provided hours of fun entertainment for everyone. And to top it off, the wagon provided a convenient way to unload our belongings from the car to the RV. The overall experience at Unhitched was superb. The hosts' attention to detail and the array of activities available made our stay truly memorable. I couldn't have asked for a better 3 night stay glamping. I highly recommend Unhitched to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Thank you, Doug and Shelby, for providing such a wonderful experience! read more

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Not only are you getting an amazing camping experience with breathtaking views, but you are also minutes away from some of the best wineries Paso Robles has to offer. The drive was beautiful, and the views surrounding this property are even more beautiful. The attention to detail was taken to the next level of perfection! Doug and Shelby did an amazing job with this place and their pride and love was carried throughout the campground. The glampers were beautiful and extremely clean with some of the most comfortable mattresses. There are plenty of activities for all to enjoy, from a bomb fire area, painting rocks, walking trails (expect to see a lot of wildlife out there like deer and wild turkeys) and BBQ areas. Definitely coming back! Doug and Shelby, thank you for such an amazing birthday weekend you guys are amazing hostess. read more

We had a lovely 4 night stay here....Shelby thought of every detail and the RV is set up for a wonderful time. It's nice to be out in the "wilderness" and yet only 30 mins from Paso, and even closer to all the great wineries en route. We did a day trip to Morro Bay and experienced some excellent kayaking too. Only note is that the two additional RVs added are very close together making 3 not as private as the 4th one. Best to be on the ends, and ideally in the one sitting solo. Thank you, Shelby, for a great time. read more

Yelp asked me to review this. So I will. Its stunning. Bougee camping in the heart of wine country. Each glamper is designed with Anthropologie minded designs for that chic boho inspired feeling! The grounds are stunning with 100 year old oak trees & the sunsets will leave you breathless! Grab your girlfriends and spend a weekend here! You won't regret it. read more
