We stayed 3 nights this trip... Somewhat good location. We stayed in room 406. Which had a king bed and separate room with a kitchen plus a pull out couch. A small desk area that my wife was able to do some work on her computer. Our room was just very stuffy. We couldn't really cool off our room. Even though the thermostat was set at 65 it really didn't cool down. Breakfast served downstairs from 6-9:30. Staff was helpful on finding places of interest in the area. In hindsight I should've stayed a few blocks closer to the Inner Harbor. No we won't stay here again. :(

We had five rooms booked at the Staybridge in Inner Harbor. Sunday morning we stripped the bedding to make sure we wasn't leaving anything and this is what was discovered. It has been a week and the manager has not contacted me yet. I've called cooperate three times and still no help. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card. What can improve is better customer service communication and better cleaning with the linen. Don't stay at this hotel!

My coworker and I walk past Staybridge a few times a week while we're out and about in the city. We needed a hotel room for the Baltimore Running Festival weekend and decided on Staybridge just due to the outside of the building. Such interesting architecture. The inside is absolutely beautiful. So many cool features. Mail slots on doors, an old but refurbished mailbox in the lobby. Hotel floors are wide, well lit and gorgeous. The room was spacious and comfortable. Much larger than other brands rooms we've stayed in around the city! I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Baltimore! Convenient to downtown and other parts of Baltimore! Parking overnight is $29! Which is cheap!

I stayed at the Staybridge Suites for one-night last week during a business trip to Baltimore. My room was spacious with a kitchenette, oven, large fridge, microwave oven, and coffee machine. It was a standard room with two beds on the third floor facing a parking garage. The hotel itself is converted from a culinary institution, and as such does not have a swimming pool. Initially, I was quite impressed with the room. The room had a magnetic key lock, and the hallway was brightly colored and well lit. However, at night, the room became very chilly, and I was unable to adjust the air conditioner and thermostat. Fortunately, the blankets were warm, and the bed comfortable. The walls of my room were thin. I heard doors slamming late at night and very early in the morning, and of course a few loud visitors outside my suite. As for the hotel, there is no evening dining restaurant, but a free buffet breakfast is served in the morning, which includes cereal, eggs, hot beverages, and fruit in an ample dining space. That was fine as I had a very short stay there, less than 24 hours. I found the front desk staff helpful, but they could have done with an extra person at the front desk as it took time to check out and check in. It also meant that purchasing necessities from the hotel store involved a bit of a wait until a line of guests had checked in and checked out. The hotel offers a social hour so visitors can mingle. So, what do you need to Know? -PROS & CONS: PROS -Spacious with basic suite amenities described above -Two blocks away from the inner harbor -near shops and restaurants and the two main maritime attractions US Constellation and a WWII submarine near an Aquarium, art museum and down department stores -Friendly staff -offers free Wi-Fi and free breakfast -There is a free shuttle bus that goes to various destinations and picks up from other hotels. -Offers a fitness room CONS -Parts of the hotel are not ADA Compliant or suitable for handicapped visitors -not enough staff to check in and check out visitors -room walls are thin, and you can hear people talking in the hallway late at night -No dinner or lunch menus offered -the room was chilly, and air conditioning appeared to be an issue. Would I go back? Well, as I am still sampling the hotels in Baltimore, the jury is still out. It's okay for a night if you don't plan to stay long. I hope management can take a look at these structural issues. They certainly need more employees.

Location. Location ... LOCATION??? WALKING DISTANCE to the National Aquarium was my biggest factor for choosing this hotel (5 minute walk -SouthEast) in addition to free breakfast, evening social & available suites. But be advised that this hotel is also walking distance to an entire block of Strip Clubs (30 second walk -Due North). You may never know such an entertainment area exists if you keep South of the hotel -especially in the daytime. But at night, expect to find in the streets everything that goes along with it. Depends on you if this factor is a GOOD or BAD Thing? Additionally, it is so sad that there is so many in the streets living without homes. Some will ask for money. Others will simply hold signs. The Holocaust Memorial (to the East) seems to have become an outdoor home for many. That said, I really liked the hotel, itself. It is a beautiful building with old time character. Our suite was clean and spacious -full fridge, small stove, sofa, tall ceilings, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful (at least most of them). We paid for Valet in advance (in general, I hate using Valet service). After arriving, we realized that parking garages are right next door -at a much cheaper rate. Oh well! Valet would be a much safer option if leaving/arriving in dark hours. The drivers were very courteous and quick. It's worth the splurge. Breakfast was good -still the typical IHG buffet in a very nice dining setting. Evening Social was also good (Burger, Bratwurst & Salad night). The Brats were tasty. Very surprisingly, there was NO LIMIT ON DRINKS!!! 2 beer choices on draft (Bud Light & Blue Moon) & cheap bottled wine. Yet so disappointed that evening socials are only on Mon, Tues & Weds nights. Bummer! Walking distance to the Aquarium, a variety of local & souvenir shops, chain stores, restaurants, etc. And, yes, there is Chick-Fil-A & Starbucks nearby! All things considered, I enjoyed my stay. As with ANYWHERE you may visit, be mindful of your surroundings. Hope this helps.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. They have a Grab & Go stocked with a variety of snacks, drinks, some ice cream, and useful things.

It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). The hotel is actually on the harbour, so the view is gorgeous and its easy access to all the things on the harbour. Check in was easy. Staff greeted us and even upgraded us to a balcony room. The room was beautiful. There was a large tub, rainfall shower, tv in bathroom mirror, separate toilet room, plush bed, min bar, robs, slippers, closet space, wall mirror, desk, chair w/ chaise, and nice size balcony with table & chair. The hotel sent up chocolate covered strawberries and a note for hubbys birthday, which was a nice touch. We visited the pool, which was breathtaking. Its a long infinity pool that overlooked the harbour. They have a bar/poolside restaurant and semi private cabanas. I rented a cabana for us and it came with prosecco, guac + chips, water, and a fruit platter. The guac was some of the best Ive had. We also ordered lobster rolls which were THE BEST ive ever had also. The pool staff was so kind and attentive as well. This hotel is literally perfect, especially for a staycation. The only things I did not like were the robes come in one size and run small. Also, I dont feel the cabana's are properly priced. I paid almost $500 and it wasn't really luxurious. When you think of the Four Seasons, you think top tier. The cabana was simply basic for the price. Could have been better. But aside from those two things, the hotel for sure lives up to its name. Forgot to mention, we ordered breakfast via room Service and it was amazing. The croussant waffle is life changing lol

In my 3 days experience walking around Baltimore and surrounding areas of the hotel, it is pretty bad. There are people on the streets clearly on drugs and the Marijuana smell alone lingers on me after i walk pass them. Alot of homeless people, people boldly asking for money, people of certain variety gathering on the streets making it intimidating to walk by. So, to say the least, the location of the hotel is terrible unless the city cleans up the streets and straighten out the community. Inside the hotel, people were helpful and nice. Everywhere inside is too dark. It might be on purpose but it give creepy vibes or didn't pay electric bills vibe. The intended vibe is supposed to be very baltimore and i can see why. The room is clean and nice. Still dark. The bed is soft and comfortable. Outlets are a complaint for me. I had to move take and chair to the corner of the room to plug in. Bathroom is clean as far as I can tell. My only complaint in the bathroom is when showering, occasionally the water unexpectedly becomes scorching hot. Maybe someone flushed on the other room but I got temporary burn right in the face so be careful. The ash bar was the only food spot inside the hotel. Dinner was alright but I'd pass on breakfast here. Overall, it is a decent hotel in a bad neighborhood. I wouldn't come back mainly because of the neighborhood.
