It's a really cozy moody interior, with *no big lights* aka great low lighting and comfy seating options. When we went, there were just a few other parties there so pretty quiet. I liked that we had a whole corner to ourselves with a sectional couch of sorts and some chairs. They close at 10pm on a Friday night, which felt absurdly early for a cocktail bar. But, we were able to order and drink one drink during the ~45 minutes we had. They closed up shop promptly at 10pm. They had a classics and a "rumors" section of the menu. I didn't think the signature drinks were overly unique, with classics like Paper Plane making that menu side. I had a pomegranate mojito which was good! Consensus was that the cocktails were good not exceptional, especially for the $16-17 price point. We ordered churros for the table which were a table favorite! I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but we enjoyed our time and could see this being a good option if you lived in the neighborhood and don't mind the early close hours.

We made a reservation in advance but didn't need to make it too far in advance which was nice. To start, we ordered some wine. It felt like a nicely curated selection and each of us enjoyed our wines. When we visited there weren't any cocktail options on the menu so that was the only thing that felt slightly missing, but they still had a nice selection of wine, beer, ciders, and sakes. The food was so so solid. To be a place that does veg options equal to/even better than the meat options is incredibly impressive to me. Everything we tried was well balanced flavor wise. We split the lettuce wraps which were a great shareable starter. I wish we had gotten the wontons because those looked great! We shared a tofu noodle salad, the tofu jicama sticky ribs, and the chicken sandwich. Each of these in my opinion are must orders. My favorite of these were the sticky ribs. Truly probably the best tofu dish I've ever had. Look forward to coming back-I would recommend this to anyone.

Beautifully elevated decor and really nice that the tables are not too close together in what seems like a small space. We did not have reservation as we came around 12 PM on Sunday. Service was prompt and I absolutely loved our waiter who was quite eccentric and explained items on the menu very well. The cinnamon roll had a very good cinnamon flavor and was very soft was not overpowering. The gravy was very flavorful, not too salty. The biscuits are quite large, but you could definitely see the lamination and are super tasty. The salmon Benedict was really good. The hollandaise was not too rich and had a great acidity level. The hash on the side included some sweet potatoes which was a nice surprise for such a rich dish. Prices reflect the what I would consider to be larger portions, but no shame in taking home leftovers!

We had reservations and were seated immediately. I chose the spare ribs for my dinner and Husband had the pulled pork sandwich. The ribs were served with a zesty dry rub and sauce on the side. They were nice and tender. The meal came with Texas toast which I didn't try because the ribs were sitting right on top of it. It also had a piece of corn on the cob. Wish my meal would have been a titch hotter in temp but the food was tasty. We finished with the smoky crème brûlée which was delicious. The layout was cozy and dark with the bar at the center. The atmosphere was sunny with no chances of rain and I loved every minute of it. Sundays are for brunch and I went with a hungry stomach. Took my seat around 1115a and started ordering. First up was my drink Prosecco with a side of Elderflower liqueur because there was no St. Germain. Close to the flavor tho! It was actually quite yummy as well. Then I placed my ordered... I went with the HOG BREAKFAST PARTY which contains 2 Eggs, Greens, Bacon or Sausage, Roadside Potatoes, Biscuit. I loved the roadside potatoes, and I opted for sausage was equally good. The green I would suggest a little more umph in it and the eggs were standard. Overall a decent 3 out of 5 meal. I would like to go back and try the regular menu. Remember I said I sat around 1115a, it was long until 1210p that I noticed my food hasn't arrived. Spoke with our waiter who was apologetic and on the hunt to see what's going on. It was in this moment that I realized this business takes their customers seriously. The waiter returned to advise the kitchen was running behind, but his manager would be out to speak with us. Upon arrival the manager advised he had some research and noticed we had been waiting a very long time. By this time food arrived at 1227P. He informed us that the bill was taken care of and gave a gift card for the inconvenience. We assured him that taking care of the bill was enough but he insisted we take the gift card as well. That's amazing customer service. Thank you to the manager and waiter for such excellent care.

Our favorite very old deli in West Palm Beach was sold 1.5 years ago and gone gone gone are the DELIGHTFUL happy charming old staff and the perfect old world flavors, cooking. In Sarasota where we just lived the last 5 years, a new deli closed after just 2 years, and there is nothing left. We've been visiting family in Sarasota every year for 40 years. Gone too in the Twin Ciries is the ownership by brothers Scot and Stu of Hopkin's beloved Crossroads Deli just last year. The new owners, a corporation owning 6-8 other restaurants have CHANGED almost all the recipes for breads, cakes , wonderous cookies and 80 % of all pastries! No more butter, no more fine ingredients and no more of their once " Grossinger's taste/quality" STELLAR seeded rye bread! They even eliminated the lemon flavoring. In their incomparable lemon coconut cake! Their stuffed cabbage is one of their only true deli dishes left. Sandwiches are half their original size...... heart breaking after going there 3-4 times a week for 25 years........ Cecil's of course had to cut back on the $$ use of butter in their pastries. But they have WORKED VERY HARD to still retain their wonderous long long ago heart warming flavors. ALL their sandwiches are AUTHENTIC. Old world New York City flavors! Made with care and love. My husband loves their beautiful generous Nova salmon platte. Noshing away happily! I love their pastrami Rachel's with plentiful half sour pickles lots of Russian dressing and creamy Cole slaw. Mmmmmm. I hope and pray Cecil's owner refrains for a long long time from selling his rare business. We must support Cecil's too.... Or lose it with all the others, and lose part of our joy and heart.
