I'm giving Steadfast Plumbing five stars based on the facts that they are extremely qualified, professional and always available. My first encounter was when i came back from Home Depot with a brand new water heater. The Steadfast truck was in front of my neighbors home, i yelled out if they could help me install the water heater. They agreed and charged me less than the handyman had quoted me. Fast forward 2 1/2 years and the water heater conks out. Steadfast came out disconnected and drained it. I took it back to Home Depot and was given a new one. Steadfast came back and installed it. Max was the technician and he did good work. Max also told me the main cause of my water heaters demise was the water pressure in my house which he measured at 80 psi. He later quoted me the price to put a water pressure regulator and released valve. Overall they did great work and i will have to shop around before i commit to the water pressure issue. I highly recommend Steadfast plumbing. I had a situation where my sink was backing up into my shower. I called around 9:00 am and made an appointment for that afternoon. They arrived on time, and fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. I asked them if there was a warranty, but they said that there was not, (which was a little disappointing), however , I was just happy to be over with it. Unfortunately, the same thing happened one week later. I called them back and spoke with the supervisor, Omar. Even though there was no warranty, he said he would stop by himself, and offered me a 50 % discount , which I was ok with. He and his partner arrived within the hour, which was great! He successfully unclogged the drain within a short time, and explained to me that it could continue to happen unless I had a clean out installed. It made sense to me. This is a fraudulent and phony company who are out to con people. My mom called this company because our Kitchen sink garbage disposal was making a noise, there was a flyer in the Valpak for $30 special for cleaning. When the guy came (his name was Manny), he tried to do something, and opened the U-tube, then told my mom to go open the backyard faucet. She did that and when she came back, he put the U-tube back and said that the entire plumbing needs to be changed from the outside to inside, and he has to break the concrete, which would be $450. My mom told him that, that's too expensive and we are not going to go with them, then he said you have to pay $89 for him cleaning the drain, which clearly he didn't do anything. My mom said no I will not pay anything and the guy left. The next day we called another plumbing company, the guy opened the same U-tube and found a plastic bag in there!!! This plastic bag was brand new, no food residue, and no tears. This new plumber said, it very strange how a bag can get in there and it seems someone put it there. We are confident the Steadfast Plumbing guy put the plastic there to con us into getting more money. When my mom called Steadfast Plumbing to complain about the plumber, the receptionist (Sandra) hung up on her and my dad two times. Then when my mom was trying to explain to her what happened, the receptionist said "I don't believe you". She then hung up again a third time, and we tried calling them again and it went straight to voicemail. She was very rude, and no customer service skill. If you are a legit company, then you should hear the concerns and then talk to your employees to understand the question but this Sandra didn't even want to hear anything. Steadfast Plumbing came out on an emergency basis and replaced my entire main sewer line. They showed me the situation (using a camera snaked thru the pipes) and gave me recommendations. Omar and his crew were professional, fast and efficient. They were even careful of my yard. Some of my plants were in the way. They carefully dug them up, placed them in temporary buckets with soil and then replanted them afterward. I have a 25 year warranty on the work. Sewer line blockage. Coupon from SteadFast said "$45 any sewer drain any time (A Cleanout)" . Coupon also said "free camera". A male and a very young one came. They snaked it but didn't work. They used some machine to see what the blockage was, but the machine was not a camera. He said he could not use a camera because there was water in the pipes. Then they used pressure machine. He added numbers in dollars , but unclear to both myself and my husband. He totaled $490, but we never heard nor agreed on that. Maybe we did not hear it because of covid mask mouth cover. We both heard the total would have been like $249 or something around there. It was too much verbiage " if this, then that". Long story short, $45 ended up to $300. (we absolutely refused $490) . It took less than an hour work. And some time arguing or discussing. They did come in the evening so I give them points for that. They also unclogged it when we were desperate. I knew $45 would be too good to be true, so willing to pay more. But I strongly suggest if you do business with them, ask them to write numbers down on piece of paper before you agree to anything, so you can see what they are talking about and avoid confusion. read more

After trying to fix a serious sewer blockage problem by ourselves for a few weeks, we received a small flyer in the mail that was part of a coupon envelope mailer advertising Steadfast Plumbing & Rooter. It was an answer to prayer, as I never would have known about them since they do not advertise in our area. The tech, Max showed up within two hours of my call and went right to work trying to clear the blockage. He used his camera and showed us how serious the damage was, especially right under our house. He was patient and kind to us and explained that they could fix it without ripping our slab apart under our house to replace the old pipe that had fallen apart. He pointed out that the whole sewer path was filled with roots. Max worked until dark and was back the next day with more techs and the owner, Omar also came to explain in more detail what would need to be done, how long it would take, and how they would put in new 6" pipe. It was interesting to watch how they did it and they all worked really hard digging 3 holes from 4' to 6' deep (so thankful they did not have to dig up the whole yard!). It took 2 1/2 days to complete the whole job. They cleaned up nicely and put in new cement where they had to cut out a square in our driveway. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend Steadfast Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing and rooter help. read more

Manny arrived to clear my clogged toilet. He used the wall clean out, located just a couple of feet away, on the outside of the bathroom wall. He ran the snake 40 feet and the blade came back clear of any kind of debris whatsoever . He had me flush the troublesome toilet and the bowl did not empty, so Manny immediately started talking about the need for sending a camera down the line so he could " investigate the blockage in the line". I reminded him that the toilet in the second bathroom flushes fine and it is connected downstream to the same waste line. So I told him I would not spend an additional $99 for a camera that would not unblock my toilet. I suggested the blockage might be between the water closet and the waste line. I asked if he could actually run something down through the water closet and see if that was where the blockage might be? Manny then suggested an 'auger' which would cost an additional $119. Guess what ! I had him go this route and the toilet cleared and I flushed it several times successfully. Even after reluctantly paying him the $40 plus $119, Manny was still trying to recommend sending a camera along the main waste line to the street sewer. I did ask Manny if he might have first used a plunger and he looked at me as if I was out of my mind in actually suggesting such an unprofessional means of unblocking a toilet. So be careful in choosing this company, I believe they suggest these expensive options and some poor fool will be desperate enough to believe their stories. read more

You may have seen my review of Mr. Rooter. I ended up calling Steadfast and am VERY glad I did. Steadfast made me a next day appointment. All of the crew were clean, in uniform, and were very professional. Omar and crew went above and beyond to show me the inside condition of my pipes, while explaining to me what I was seeing on the video screen. His honesty and transparency was very refreshing. Nobody enjoys spending money, especially if it's involving plumbing issues, because IMO, you don't get that tangible feeling for the money spent. However, not only did I get an honest and extremely fair quote, there was no efforts made to upgrade me, or sudden surprises, or a supervisor named Joe Flores coming out to put the screws on me. Let me start by saying I was up to my ankles in s#*t , I mean literally. What did I do? started going through the Internet one by one calling different rooter companys, I had an appointment and had to leave my house by 5 PM I needed someone to come within two hours. It was 2pm , the House smelled so bad I wanted to throw up. On the 5th company I called which was STEADFAST who answered the phone, a very nice woman said she would get back to me in five minutes which she did. With in an hour Omar the owner of the company came to my house with a helper. He started to try and clear the line he spent over 2 1/2 hours trying but the clog was so bad and my pipes were in such bad shape he could not clear them. I had to leave for my appointment so Omar told me he would return the next morning which he promptly did it at 8:00 AM , at that time he had to dig up and put in a new cleanout and re-line all the pipes. now all is good and flowing perfect , not only is Omar a gentleman he spent so much time on my house to make sure that everything was cleared. the price was fair and he came with 3 trucks and 6 guys and when they left my house you would never know they were there clean as a whistle.
