Went into Steak and Hoagie Factory with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the cheesesteak hoagie and Italian hoagie both on seeded rolls. Each sandwich was generously loaded with meat but the real star was the roll. It had the perfect texturt, not too soft or too hard, and was toasted giving it a nice crunch. I recently visited on two separate occasions. The place was buzzing on a Friday evening, a very good sign. The employees were welcoming and accommodating, from counter to kitchen. Since it's an open kitchen you can clearly see that they keep it clean and organized. Everyone wears gloves. Ordered cheesesteaks with fried onions and cherry peppers on seeded rolls. AMAZING! The meat, ribeye, melts in your mouth. Cooper sharp provides melty deliciousness. The seeded roll, IMHO, adds special flavor and texture. The cherry peppers provide the "special sauce"... Well one year was all it took for quality to tank. My family and I have ordered from them 3 times recently the first time was decent, last time they messed it up and forgot mushrooms that we ordered on one of our sandwiches which we got charged for and then most recently they missed the mark again. They got my sandwich order wrong. Ordered Buffalo chicken cheesesteak and got a plain chicken cheesesteak. Not even a good chicken cheesesteak a not good one. My husband found this place and we love coming here. It's not far from the house and they make delicious cheesesteaks and hoagies. I've had an Italian while is great and I've also had a cheesesteak. I really like the rolls here. They really make the sandwich! I had half of my Italian and ate the other half the next day by heating it up in the oven. It was just as good the second day! Their french fries are crispy but don't look like they would be. I think they have curly fries and I want to try them next time I stop by. After reading another review, I found out they have wings. I want to try those for sure. The guys are always nice when were come in. Although the indoor seating is scarce at best, the outdoor seating is lovely on a nice night, and this is one of the rare spots that is open 24 hours. Their cheesesteak was very good, delicious fresh rolls. However, an order for pickup should not take 45 minutes. I was told over the phone it would take 40 minutes, and I thought that was long so I arrived after about 30-35 minutes. When I walked in, the guy on the grill had only one ticket on his line and only one sandwich on the grill. I was told that he hadn't started my order yet. I work as a grill cook too and so I know that he could have been working on more than one sandwich. I used the bathroom while waiting and it was absolutely disgusting. There were blood droplets on the floor near the toilet, the grout was black, even up some onto the walls assumably from using a dirty mop head, and there were dead bugs in the corners. While I do think the food was good, I can't support a business who does not take sanitary means to keep its customers. Let alone take 45 minutes for a pickup. read more

Underwhelming. The only thing that is overwhelming is the wait time. We got cheesesteaks (whole and half) and the bread could be better. Reminds me more of bread that you would use for a hoagie (lacks that color and crisp on the outside.) And the cheese just doesn't blend into the steak like it should. The last two times we opted for delivery and the bags were falling apart & completely saturated in grease, as well as all of the items inside. We have found that when we opt for a specialty fry or tot, there has been less and less toppings each time. We always order a buffalo chicken cheesesteak with ranch instead of blue cheese, and each time is a gamble on how we will actually receive it. The final straw was tonight and the wings we received via delivery. We ordered a Cajun dry rub with extra hot sauce. We also ordered extra blue cheese. There was an additional charge for both the extra sauce option, and another for the extra blue cheese. We received no blue cheese at all (even the blue cheese included with the order was missing) and the wings were COMPLETELY naked with no sauce on the side either. I'm not sure how someone completely forgets to dress wings, but as you can see the shiny aluminum pan underneath in the photo, there is absolutely no dry rub or sauce on these. Clearly the people working here just don't care about the product they're putting out- regardless of all of the up charges someone has paid. Visited Steak and Hoagie Factory for breakfast yesterday. I have been to the Abington location previously but this was my first visit to the Warminster location. The store is pretty small and only offered two dining tables along with six chairs. There were about six picnic benches outside as well. While writing this review I learned that this location is open 24 hours Wednesday thru Saturday. I enjoy the breakfast sandwiches that Steak and Hoagie Factory make. The fresh bread is made in house and it's so soft. You can pick bacon, sausage, pork roll, ham or steak. Two eggs cooked to order and American cheese come standard. Variations will cost you a little extra. The price is only $2.50 if you pay with cash an extra quarter to use your plastic. Today I ordered the sausage with egg and cheese. The scrambled egg was nice and fluffy. The cheese was melted and the sausage patty was cooked well. The sandwich was very tasty. Do yourself a favor and try them for breakfast on the go instead of the regular fast food options you will enjoy. read more

Was a loyal customer to steak and hoagie for 15 years. I literally spent thousands of dollars here over the years. After my past three AWFUL experiences I will never spend another dime here. This comes down to a management and personnel issue. The "workers" simply do not care about the product that they are serving. Three times in a row I've received an incorrect order or the food was so poorly made that it went straight to the trash. After my first complaint I was promised a sandwich on the house however when I came to claim it the employee said he doesn't know anything about it and I have to speak with a daytime manager. This is honestly the worst place I have ever ordered a hoagie from. I placed an order for an Italian Hoagie and curly fries - where they told me the wait time was 30 minutes. Ok fine, the wait is long at an off time but I'll wait. Then when I arrive, they said that I did not order an order of curly fries- when I can clearly see on the order that is taped to my hoagie that I did order curly fries. They told me to wait for curly fries which I did. While I was waiting, 4 different customers came in. They managed to screw up 2 of those orders, and didn't help 2 others that were waiting for 10 minutes. When I finally for my food, the Italian hoagie was horribly made - it was dry, the bread was hard, and there was barely any meat in it. We used to go there all the time but on our last 2 visits we have been so turned off we will NEVER go back. The employee making the hoagies took forever and used unsanitary practices including going from the cash register and other activities to making my sandwiches without washing his hands. (This was with two other employees in the store who could do some of the other things.) He was rude and said that there was no more turkey that was cut and just stopped making my sandwiches after he made our first hoagie then insisted that other employees who offered to cut more meat could not do it. Then he went over to the cutting machine and complained more. Clearly, I, the customer had the audacity to put him out with my order. This is the BEST place to get steak sandwiches in Warminster! I've been going there for years and the quality has never wavered. The bread they use is just perfect for any sandwich from their Italian Hoagie to my favorite cheesesteak with mushrooms. They had a special on Italian hoagies, which honestly my gut was telling me that was probably the best thing to go with but I went with the cheesesteak anyway. The steak in the roll was flavorful! But I don't know what it is, I craved for more grease on it so the bread wouldn't be as dry together even though I added so much ketchup lol. First couple of times (past 4mos) were fine. I noticed on Sundays they have $4 Ital hoagies, which is awesome. One time I go to make a pickup and I notice no one is wearing gloves. They're handing rolls, raw meats, lettuce/tomatoes etc and no one is washing their hands, GROSS and DANGEROUS! One guy on the grill had a full on beard with no beard cover, that's a health code violation also. Another time I go in to pick up 6 hoagies, I was told 20 mins. I go in after 20mins and I see them sitting there. There were two old ladies in front of me holding up the line deciding what to order. 10 mins later I'm still standing there without anyone asking what I needed. Now there are three people behind me, also waiting to pick up/place an order. The guy at the counter kept taking orders on the phone and sorting the food that's ready on the shelf behind him. Again, not asking who needed help, ignoring everyone standing in front of him. Still taking orders on the phone though. Again I noticed no one is wearing gloves!! SO the people behind me were getting upset as well, some even walked out. It took, and I kid you not, 30 mins to get my hoagies, which were the same ones I saw when I walked in. To top it off, there was no working AC that day. I noticed a hose with water running on top of the AC unit outside. We won't be back until I hear things are corrected here.
