    Italian Supreme Hoagie!

Picked up an Italian hoagie today and couldn't be any happier. Got the extra meat and cheese and it was delicious! Fresh bread, tasty meat, and seasoned perfectly. Great value, fast service, and easy parking!

The cheesesteaks were so salty the were inedible. The chicken fingers were so burnt they were as hard as a rock & inedible. I do not recommend ordering from the one in Newtown. 60$ in the trash!! very disappointed

Find the sliver of cheese on a turkey and cheese hoagie

Why did I order turkey with cheese when they only give a tiny, and mean mean damned tiny sliver of cheese? What there'll did I pay for? That wasn't on one sandwich, but two. This place gives the bare minimum of ingredients on a sandwich. I feel so ripped off. Only good thing was the fries. Won't be back.

I see more bread on the inside than chicken.

Well one year was all it took for quality to tank. My family and I have ordered from them 3 times recently the first time was decent, last time they messed it up and forgot mushrooms that we ordered on one of our sandwiches which we got charged for and then most recently they missed the mark again. They got my sandwich order wrong. Ordered Buffalo chicken cheesesteak and got a plain chicken cheesesteak. Not even a good chicken cheesesteak a not good one. Barely any chicken, barely any cheese and why was the roll not good? The chicken also was grisle-y. Forgot sauce for one of our apps as well. The quality overall isn't there. Check out the sad sandwich photo.

My husband found this place and we love coming here. It's not far from the house and they make delicious cheesesteaks and hoagies. I've had an Italian while is great and I've also had a cheesesteak. I really like the rolls here. They really make the sandwich! I had half of my Italian and ate the other half the next day by heating it up in the oven. It was just as good the second day! Their french fries are crispy but don't look like they would be. I think they have curly fries and I want to try them next time I stop by. After reading another review, I found out they have wings. I want to try those for sure. The guys are always nice when were come in. Being in the food service industry, I know about sanitation, with that being said, these guys do not wear any gloves which is gross! The guy that cashes you out also touches all the rolls with no gloves on!!! UGH!!! With that being said I will still eat here and hope I don't get sick because the food is very yummy!!!

Bad all around service. Called in my order and guy had a bad attitude. Told him I had a coupon and he said fine show it to me when you show up. I guess no delivery. Was told 20-25 minutes. When I showed up 30 minutes later was ignored for 5 minutes and then the cheesesteak cook went I never even saw that ticket. Waited an additional ten minutes. Was served a cheesesteak on an under cooked roll. Showed him the coupon and had to remind him 3 times before he took the amount off the final price. Also he forgot the large fries which I had to remind him about. They cooked them for a couple of seconds so I got a nice bag of soggy raw fries. First time going will never be back again.

They completely forgot to dress the wings... how do you forget that? Especially when customer pays for extra sauce...

We used to order here often (weekly) but have found that our last few orders have been missing items and of poor quality. The last two times we opted for delivery and the bags were falling apart & completely saturated in grease, as well as all of the items inside. We have found that when we opt for a specialty fry or tot, there has been less and less toppings each time. We always order a buffalo chicken cheesesteak with ranch instead of blue cheese, and each time is a gamble on how we will actually receive it. The final straw was tonight and the wings we received via delivery. We ordered a Cajun dry rub with extra hot sauce. We also ordered extra blue cheese. There was an additional charge for both the extra sauce option, and another for the extra blue cheese. We received no blue cheese at all (even the blue cheese included with the order was missing) and the wings were COMPLETELY naked with no sauce on the side either. I'm not sure how someone completely forgets to dress wings, but as you can see the shiny aluminum pan underneath in the photo, there is absolutely no dry rub or sauce on these. Clearly the people working here just don't care about the product they're putting out- regardless of all of the up charges someone has paid. The lack of sauce also made it easy to taste the dirty fryer grease taste that was on the wings. Very disappointed in a once favorite spot. Would no longer recommend.

When I went in there was just one girl working up front. She took my order which is a pretty consolidated menu - just a few good options of pizza, steaks and chicken cutlets and a few sides. I like that it isn't so giant. I knew I wanted to try the mozzerella sticks and I was debating between a cheesesteak and a cutlet sandwich. But also was toying with the idea of a meatball- specifically because I heard they had good sauce and I wasn't trying a pizza this trip. I went with the cheesesteak which on the menu boasts ribeye and a seeded roll. I ordered cooper sharp (usually I do American, this was the first time getting cooper sharp) and onions. Let me first say the steak was chopped perfectly the sandwich was heftyyy and it was loaded with cheese - all mixed in. Very good! Super tender meat. I will say that, personally, I'm used to getting a lighter cheese steak and adding sauce so this was definitely different for me but I can recognize how good it was. I did decided to order a side of meatballs to try - this was the only thing that didn't hit for me. They weren't bad but I would have liked more flavor. They were super tender though and I could tell they were homemade just as the menu says (hand rolled with a 200 year old family recipe) and the sauce - amazing! I topped that sauce on my steak and it was an elite combo for me as I, again personal preference, like to break up the cheese a bit. Overall the steak was really good and oh my gosh the mozzerella sticks- they were huge and the breading had such great flavor! Definitely a perfect pairing with their sauce. If I come back knowing how good the mozz breading is I definitely wanna try a chicken cutlet and pizza. The food came out super fast was super fresh. Definitely a good spot and I'm sure I'll be back!

Typical sub shop... you walk in and order at the counter and are greeted with fresh baked bread sitting on shelves behind the register. Staff was friendly and made some solid recommendations while we scanned the menu. Ultimately went with the standard 12" cheese steak. It did take a little longer than I expected to get our food but it was super hot and fresh (so hot I burned by mouth but that's because I couldn't wait to dive in). Good balance of meat and cheese and the bread had a nice pull making it the perfect conduit for the cheese steak. There is no indoor seating so be prepared to take it with you or sit at one of the outside tables in front the ice cream shop. I had already had chicken cheesesteak a few weeks prior with Door Dash and it was really good Last week I tried to place an order directly with the store but a recording said to order with the Slice app. I ordered their chicken alfredo for 21.95. However you had to choose the sauce for an additional $3.95. Also I got mushrooms for $1. I order garlic knots for 50 cents but they gave me a loaf of garlic bread which was burnt for an additional $5.00. My bill was over $31 and there was no chicken on the chicken alfredo. I called then to advise all these mistakes. They offered to remake it and/or adjust my bill when I came into the store again. ???? They told me they had new staff who was not sure how to enter my order. They have lots to improve upon. I don't live in that area but my son does. I won't be going back regardless. Also by the way the cheesesteak was $21.95 which is a lot for a cheesesteak. I hope they figure out their business.

I've mentioned in previous reviews that this location is not my favorite, I still prefer the Warminster location and that was true until I had gone recently and they moved their bakery. We had spoke to others as well who live closer to doylestown but still go to Warminster because it's just better. Maybe I'll go to Warminster when I'm in a pickle but overall I think I am done with the altomontes store. It's sad to say but this once great small business is falling and I know it will still continue to pull all the doylestown locals with $ to burn. So if you're happy serving lesser quality at exuberant costs to keep this inflated mecca Italian wonderland - so be it. But the heart of this business and the quality that Mike started is no longer. You guys really need to start paying attention to your business and stop trying to keep grow grow growing and doing all of the stuff on social media if you're not going to invest in the business and quality of what you already have. Got overcharged for pasta that literally had prices posted over all the aisles by $1 a box which sure isn't a lot but it adds up. Especially when people are budgeting and buying things by a cost. And if you're doing that to me then how many other people? Just go change your signs if you're increasing costs! They also don't have the same desserts here that they do at their alto cafe which was sad to see. I also don't appreciate how the ordering has changed. As others have mentioned too the deli counter isn't nice and they don't want to cut you fresh items. I also was directed to the pre cut deli case when I just wanted fresh cut meat. I'm just tired of spending my good hard $ at a "small business" that isn't so small any more. And forget about the quality too - I know I've posted before but the quality is not what it used to be. It's obvious they care about the bottom line then making a good product. The specials are aborrhent as others have mentioned - which as I've posted in reviews is especially sad because you see a photo of the product online and get something that doesn't even resemble the item you ordered. Its a shame that all these changes are taking away the quality and what many people loved. Sometimes it's not always best to expand and shift the business to be trendy and social media centric. Sometimes it's better to stay small and true to the original quality rather than being out of touch from the people that have quite literally helped you build your business.
