I had company and ordered buffalo chicken cheesesteaks and regular cheesesteaks in July which were delicious and packed with meat, plenty to cut up for our company to enjoy. I ordered again a few weeks ago and there was barely any meat on the sandwich's. We were basically eating rolls. read more

Really tried to give this place a try again so I went online to look at the menu. Saw the prices for a cheesesteak special and I was like wow such a great deal. Turns out it was more than stated from their website. When I went in I asked how could my order be 21 dollars when the lunch special was $7.95 and the calamari was $8.95. They then showed me the receipt and I said the prices are different on the menu online. They just said oh that's weird. When I asked if they would honor their menu that was online they said "No we can't do that the prices are here on the menu." I even showed the lady the online menu how come they didn't update the online menu and have false information towards it. Cancelled my order and will not try this place again. The worst. Girl with a real attitude working the register. As I waited for my pizza I heard them tell a customer over the phone they burned their pizza so it would take longer. When I got home, I found the bottom of the veggie pizza was BLACK, and I had to trash the whole pie! Seemed simple enough - a chicken hoagie with oil and vinegar, a salad, blue cheese dressing on the side, and that was it. Could they possibly have made the sandwich any blander? used any less oil and vinegar? sent decent blue cheese dressing instead of two small containers, one yellowed with age and one just tasting awful? The bread was okay. The slices of chicken were edible. The salad lettuce was bitter, the two meager black olives straight from the can and not fresh enough to even have any taste. It was a Saturday night, and I was so tired that I didn't feel like leaving the hotel room. We decided to order in, and Frank's was the closest pizza place to the Holiday Inn (across the street from Hooters, and next to the Dunkin Donuts). Alright. We'll do it. As it is, we're vegetarians. Frank's didn't have a veggie pizza so we had to make it topping by topping. If it wasn't meat, it was on the pizza. And boy, was it great. They came and dropped off a pie that weighed about 20 lbs. After I paid the poor guy who had to wait while I hit the ATM in the lobby (I'm sorry! I thought I had enough cash!) we took the box into the room for the unveiling, not certain of whether or not this was about to be a tasty dinner or a gastric disappointment. Everything was fresh, and amazing, and the crust! THE CRUST! Frank's makes an AMAZING pie. And they try to make you happy, even if it's not on the menu. I have been at this place multiple times because it is quiet and the food is awesome. Today a dad had his four young children were in the restaurant, their bikes on the ground in front of the door. While he was drinking at the bar next door his kids were running around the restaurant playing and yelling. I finally told the staff I wanted a to go box so I could go elsewhere to enjoy my sandwich. I absolutely LOVE the food here. The wings are AMAZING and I've recently had the pleasure of trying the roast beef sandwich, it was the best I've had in awhile. Tried Frank's for the first time. One table and 3 people for take out. Each takeout took 25 minutes for cheese steaks. The poor girl behind the counter had to apologize every time an order finally came out. Frank's Pizza is a great neighborhood place in Bensalem. With so many pizza places along Street Road it's hard to tell who's who. The place is small with a few table to sit at. We have overlooked the poor service at franks for four and a half years now because they have decent food and a very convenient location. I will not be going back anymore. Last night they got my order wrong and delivered a different sandwich, No big deal I let them know and was expecting to get what I ordered shortly. However I got a call five minutes later very rudely saying that I need to save the old sandwich to give back to them. The sandwich I ordered did not arrive until an hour after I placed the order and they took the mistake sandwich back. After an hour of waiting I expect to receive both sandwiches for free or at least get kind customer service. What are they even going to do with the old sandwich? I hope not serving to anyone else. If you eat at Frank's you might be eating a reheated mistaken sandwich from earlier in the day. and you can definitely expect rude service that favors only the preferred bar regulars. read more

I ADORE Frank's Pizza. It happens to be right next door to my pharmacy so that's how I first tried it. I was STARVING one night so I just walked next door after picking up a prescription.This was about 6 years ago and I haven't ordered a pizza from ANYWHERE else since I first tried Frank's! piss poor service. Had to give our order twice and still didn't get it correct. Couldn't operate the credit card machine properly. Then we order a chicken cheese steak with ketchup and mayo on it. No ketchup nor mayo on it. With a chicken finger platter. One receipt said we ordered the platter another didn't. Lady on the phone says the bill was 18 and the driver gets to the room and its 21 ???!???!?!?!? WTF!!!! cant get nothing right. Then come to find out they didn't deliver the platter they delivered just the chicken fingers. So we call and low and behold the lady on the phone gets smart with us and argues the point about we only ordered the chicken fingers not the platter. BUT the receipt of the hand written order even says platter. Thank you for being worthless lady glad you have that job and not a job as a bank teller.
