Nearly everything on the menu can be made vegan! I had the earth bowl (which is more of a salad…read morethan a warm bowl) and my husband had the breakfast burrito with tofu instead of eggs. Both were delicious! We bought a few things from their market as well. So nice to see some plant-based options out here!

This place is a little understated from the outside. You think it is going to just be a smoothie…read moreplace but they have a full menu with breakfast sandwiches, burrito, smoothies, coffee, etc. I thought it was excellent and a little more approachable then Persephone next door (I don't know why, go in both and see for yourself). We got a breakfast burrito and some sort of super smoothie bowl (I forget what it was called). The burrito was excellent. We did not get meat in it because we were not super hungry, but it did not need it. Great flavor. The burrito came with some fruit and such. I'd say it was medium size. It would not fill up a big appetite (go to D.O.G. for that) but I was not disappointed. The smoothie bowl was also excellent. It'd go back here again for sure. We asked them to split the smoothie bowl in two for us so we could each share the burrito and the smoothie. They happily did this. We got things to go, but they have an array of counter and table seating to choose from. We liked it. Prices were Jackson high. So, more than you want to pay but if you can get free coffee at your hotel than it wasn't too bad.

We had a nice experience here. We tried the David's chopped salad but switched the dressing with…read morethe beat salad (honey citrus vinaigrette) as it sounded really good. This was indeed a pro move. We also had the Faroe island salmon which, at $43 was too expensive, but was really good (in a previous menue picture I looked at it was $34). Finally, both my wife and I enjoyed the huckleberry cosmo. Our waiter did a good job of selling us on the desert. The brownie skillet with ice cream was a good reminder of how all deserts should come as a hot/cold pairing.

We sat down and were asked if we wanted the shades pulled down but we said we liked the light and enjoyed having them open. Shortly after that a group sat at the table next to us and the waitress closed the blinds completely without saying anything to us. If the light was in someone's eyes I totally support lowering them a bit but it was 4pm and if you're going to ask every table if they want them open or closed and you end up with two next to each other having opposing opinions then just ask if the other table minds ifs lowered partially or let them know what you're doing. Frustrating because we chose to eat here specifically for a view of the mountain. Secondly we asked our waitress for ranch and when she brought out our waters out she brought ketchup and said she'd be right back with the ranch. Our food then came and we asked the guy who brought it to bring some ranch but that never came. I wouldn't care much about it if the burger wasn't completely flavorless (which I'll touch on in a moment). Then we finally were able to get some ranch when the host walked by and he was great and brought it to us right away but having to ask 3 times for some ranch was frustrating. If this was all and the food was great, I'd let all this go BUT the burger (which we added bacon to) was completely flavorless. For a burger to have meat cheese and bacon and still taste like nothing is impressive. When the ranch finally came...it was awful. I've genuinely never met a ranch I didn't like until this one. It tasted like chemicals. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed. I didn't try the wings that others at table had so I can't comment on them myself but there weren't any good reviews from that side of the table either. I think this may just be a spot to grab a drink because it's tough to mess up a burger wings and ranch but this place managed to.

This was a great local farmers market! They are at the fairgrounds every Friday evening at 4 PM…read moreuntil October. We arrived right at 4 PM. They were still setting up but the organizer greeted and welcomed us right in. She gave us the rundown of the market. We strolled around and saw first that they have food trucks on site every week which is great! I always wind up at farmers markets absolutely starving. Right away we knew we were getting lemonade and corn dogs from the food trucks...and that's exactly what we did. (Mom got a healthy and refreshing açai bowl.) The Corn Dog Co. did something diabolical to their corn dogs and I can't stop craving them. They slather them in honey!!! Yes, you read that correctly. It was ingenious and frigging delicious. I won't be able to eat a corn dog any other way going forward. HAHAHA! The lemonade was homemade craft lemonade to order. I can't remember the names of two we tried but they were both perfect! They were served in these large cups with lids and at such a great price per. After our bellies were full and thirsts quenched we strolled through the booths. Everyone was so friendly and chatty. We got to hear about custom knives and pastured chickens. We stopped at Nicks 3-D printing booth where he had the cutest 3D printed knick-knacks and displays. I of course had to buy something right up my collecting alley. The booth next to Nicks was a woman who made homemade chemical free soaps and lotions which were great. She was also from San Diego county so we struck up a conversation with her too. There were custom aprons and multi-use fabric paper towels which I can't wait to try. There were craft candy apples and fudge. It's not a large farmers market but it is mighty! If you are in town make sure to check it out. Thank you, Rexburg Farmers Market, for a great shopping experience!

This market is loaded with actual artisans presenting their own goods. We got a lot, but I could have taken something from every vendor! This is the farmers market I want to visit. We left early on account of rain and we forgot our coats, but they were just getting started. Looked it was going to be a fun evening!
