Called to place an order like I've done before. The guy who answered the phone was so rude. He said I should order on the app because it's cheaper. No it's not. The meal I like is not cheaper in the app. He didn't even give me a chance to say I prefer to order over the phone, he dropped the phone down and was talking to someone else. Their food is mediocre at best, but it works when you need something quick. After the attitude of this guy, I won't be going back anytime soon. They've had turnover of staff, a few have been nice but not this guy. Mediocre food combined with an employee with a bad attitude makes this place not worth it. read more

Getting tired of driving there only to find that they are closed. If they are going to advertise open hours they should be there. Food is great, when they are open. Driving down there and finding them open is a 50/50 chance. When you call to see if they are open, there is not even an answering machine if they are not open. Tried this place for lunch, friendly staff, pretty clean store. Got the Philly with fries, and a sweet tea. The tea was ok lacking some flavor. The cheesesteak was good overall. The bread was great, but the steak was missing some flavor, and was chopped a little on the larger size. The French fries was nice and crispy with some good flavor. Found this place as I was looking for a quick bite to eat. Originally, I was going to order the Italian sub, but I ended up spotting their bowls and decided to try out their chicken Greco bowl. I will say, I was not impressed. Their bowl looked way better in the picture than what I actually got. The bowl contained white rice with mixed in vegetables, black and pinto beans with shredded chicken. The chicken was shredded into big pieces, and the container had lots of water at the bottom from what I believe were the beans, which made the rice mushy and felt soupy to me. It did not have flavor at all, even with adding in the feta cheese and taziki sauce they give you on the side. I feel like I should have definitely just stuck with the sub as that looked way more appetizing than the bowl. The place itself was clean, and the employees were super polite and quick with your orders. They have seating both inside and outside and an open parking lot. I would probably come back just to try their subs if I'm ever in the area again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

My cheesesteak was absolutely disgusting got charged for peppers, or the lack of. The meat tasted like it was some steakums from the frozen food section at a grocery store. Asked for a regular, guy rang me up for a large, not a big deal, but I had to force myself to eat half of it. I couldn't take the taste of the steamed meat and tossed the rest of my meal away. If I wanted something steamed or subpar I would have gone to subway. This place has started to lack over the past year, I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

I ordered the South Street Philly and it was not good. I was hoping to find a great local sub shop bc I love a good Philly. The peppers and onions portions on the sub was weak & overall taste was just average. I'll give it another shot and order something different and maybe I'll have better luck next time. They have gyros too so maybe I'll try that. Service was fine and didn't take long to get food. They have a couple TVs with college football games on, so like that if you want to eat in. Counting the different locations, we've eaten here 30+ years but had the craziest experience today. My wife ordered a sandwich combo and I ordered one of their prepackaged containers of chicken salad. The cashier says that it's $8 would I still like to have it, and I said yes. When she rings it up she sees two prices on the register, $8 and $10 so she asks the manager and he tells her the $8 price is only for online orders. And that unless I have her remove it from the order and then have me reenter online it will be the higher price. I asked the manager why and he said I need to pay the extra amount to cover the cost of the cashier? Huh? She is already actively working on our order, and will spend more time reversing it than filling the order. If I had then placed the order online she would have to still get the item out of the cooler and put it in a bag. I get restaurant margins are thin but this is nuts, just charge $10 for all your chicken salad orders. Or he could have just said since the order was already placed in the system and my credit card was in the terminal that the quoted price would be honored. Amazingly short sighted. read more

I've ordered the roasted/chargrilled breast and wing dinner each time, with slightly different side choices. I always get the greek salad as one of my two sides, which is always fresh and tasty. Other sides ordered included: grecian beans (good), pasta salad (good), and fruit cup (good). I always consider ordering something besides the roasted chicken plates, but have yet to, because why mess with a good thing? I really hate to write this. I've a customer for over 20 years, way back when they were on Sharon Amity in Charlotte. When my girls were younger, we used to stop there every Wednesday on our way home from school to pick up subs. Did that for years. But what happened yesterday has just stuck in my craw. It was such a beautiful day, I was out riding Saturday afternoon and decided to pick something up for lunch. I was in the general area, so I decided to give them a call and place an order for a Cheesesteak Supreme. I pulled up on the bike and got off. As I walked to the door, I did see the sign saying you could only come in if you had a pre-paid order. But there was no one else in the store, or even the parking lot, and since I was going to give them $12 for $10 sandwich and let them keep the change, I figured they'd be a little flexible. Boy was I wrong. I walked in and waited. I waved to the guys in the back that I recognized. I waited a little more, patiently. Finally one of the girls came and asked for my name. I told her and she said I had to go through the drive thru. Now, I just don't go through drive thrus on my motorcycle. It's a total PITA. I told her that I was going to her cash and she could keep the change (it would've a 20% tip BTW). But she was insistent. Then the mgr walked up and kept on. He went on about the registers and what if there was a line. I went about cash, keep the change, and I was only one in the store. I relented and rode around, got of my bike, grabbed the sandwich. I told him that, with just a little bit of flexibility, his girls could've had a 50% tip (turns out I only had fives, so I would've paid $15 for $10 sub - happily) and he would've a really happy customer sitting on his patio enjoying a Cheesesteak. Instead, his girls got macas (So. Philly for Zero, Zip, Nada) and he's lost a 25 year customer. Was he "right"? Sure, he had a sign. Just sayin' that if the roles were reversed, I would've kept my customer happy. read more

The staff is friendly. After you order and pay at the counter, they bring you food out to you. They also have a carry out window for drive up service. The shop is small but clean. The bathrooms aren't the greatest, so I would try to avoid if possible. Recommend the black & blue hoagie or the pork chop dinner! The pork chop is my favorite. It's delicious each time. It comes with 2 sides. Onion rings are good. Cole slaw, could be better. I've never had a bad experience. read more
