    The burger and fries.

We went through the drive thru and I got a cheeseburger combo with fries and Coke. It had been several years since I've been here. The burger wast delicious and the fries were good too. I forgot how skinny they were, so that took some getting used to. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Indoor now open March 2020. Order from a touchscreen when you walk in. Less tables. Go get the food when they call out your number. We sat for 40 minutes and watched five groups get up and leave and no one wiped the tables for the next guests. No employees out in dining area. Totally lost the 50's vibe. Too bad. Used to be one of our favorite places.

My first time ever eating at a Steak'n Shake. I heard good things about their burgers and shakes, so being in town for a band competition, I thought I would try it. It was horrible. My burger looked worse than something from McDonald's. the taste wasn't much better. I got the guacamole burger and the guy on the line just put a blob of guac in the middle of the burger and slapped the bun on. Zero presentation. Big disappointment! I was scared to try a shake at this point, but tried a kid size white chocolate. It was pretty good. I will never eat at a steak and shake again!

The fly I didn't swallow. Their were also Nats in there as well. We just found those as we poured it out.

Checked in on Super Bowl Sunday, only one other family in the place. Service was personal, extremely fast. Genius on my part.

Decent food at a low cost. Steak N Shake is good because it is open late so if you are up late and don't want crappy fast food, stop on by.

The place was filthy. Every table needed to bussed and we waited aver 10 minutes in our booth and NEVER saw our server.

Worst customer service, very slow, terrible attitudes from employees. Complaining about having to make my order.

I recently ordered delivery from this Culver's restaurant…read more I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Value Basket which comes with a drink and side. I ordered the onion rings as a side which is about a dollar up charge. I also ordered a single patty ButterBurger with cheese. Delivery was really quick. The Mushroom and Swiss burger came in its own box. Both burgers were very good. They were seasoned really well, fried good and quite appetizing. The hamburger bun is a little thicker than most burger joints. The onion rings were very good, fried perfectly and not overtly greasy. The onion rings come with your choice of sauce. I chose Culver's signature sauce which is a white sauce, mildly spicy, and has a pickle taste in my opinion. I highly recommend. Food is a little more than most fast food places, but everything was packaged carefully and it appears they take pride in the food that they serve.

The food was great,as normal. I tried the cod sandwich, which was delicious & piping hot. Only…read morecomplaint about it is at looking at the ingredients online, it does have canola and/or soybean oil in the breading AND that it's fried in. The cashier was kinda pushy with the sauces. I asked if any sauces came with meals for free and she said no. All sauces are at least 35 cents. That does irritate me. Two things: 1st, that the menu doesn't list prices of sauces (at least list a price range instead of "sauces may have a fee") and 2nd, that the cashiers push them for every meal, every person. I wrote a great review last time we were here, but noticed another reviewer complained about being charged for the dips/sauces. I don't remember feeling pushed to order sauce the previous time, and I don't use much dip or sauce with my meals. But other fast-food restaurants automatically include dip/sauce with certain items like onion rings, so that is why I asked about a different sauce than the cashier was pushing- for my onion rings. But because of the extra cost, I chose not to order any sauce. It probably wouldn't have bothered me as much if I hadn't noticed how the cashier girl kept pushing the boom boom sauce to every single person in our party, but without mentioning the extra fee. With budgets getting tighter & tighter, we're having to be more careful with our money. Thirty-five cents (or more) may not seem like much, but If everyone in the family orders 1-2 sauces, it can (and has in the past) add several dollars to your bill that you weren't expecting. We've been eating out a LOT because of a renovation we're working on. We've eaten at this Culver's quite a few times and until yesterday, all the cashiers have been pleasant, helpful & cheerful. I can't say yesterday's cashier wasn't pleasant, but it felt forced. Like she wasn't truly a pleasant cheerful person or really didn't want to be there. Most other cashiers in the past have been extremely friendly & helpful & seem genuine. Anyway, between the extra, hidden costs of sauces for your meal, the overall cost of eating out (anywhere; not just here) and looking at the ingredients lists online and (not surprisingly) finding MANY MANY food products containing and/or being fried in soybean and canola oils, we will be making eating out a rare thing ASAP- for out budget and our health! But the food does taste good. And I was pleasantly surprised to see ACTUAL BUTTER. Butter in the buns and if you get a butter packet, it's actually butter- not margarine or a blend with crappy oils. So that's a positive.

Everything was packed carefully in a sealed paper bag. The Chili Cheese Big Dog is a thick hot dog placed between what a believe is sour dough bread lightly toasted. It is a bit messy but it's very good and well worth the effort. The Smash Tots were fried really good and not greasy at all. I ate the Double All-American Smash burger later but it was good as well. Smashburger does allow you to customize your burgers and I liked that. I removed red onions and added extra pickles! Overall, really great experience. Great food, with a variety of options, including a Black Bean Smash burger for the vegan crowd. Highly recommend!

Our burgers you could tell were prepared by people that cared about the quality of work they put out to their customers. They were just tossed together & squished like most places. The flavors were excellent. Meat you could tell wasn't frozen cheap patties and the toppings were crisp & flavorful. Tots & fries were on point as well! I would gladly go back! A+ Check it out!

The Greek-Style Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, onion rings, and mozzarella cheese sticks were packed in styrofoam containers. The Tzatziki sauce for the sandwich and marinara sauce for the mozzarella cheese sticks were placed in plastic containers which were then placed in a small paper bag. Items were then placed in a big paper bag that was stapled together. Food was packed very well. The Greek-Style Philly Cheesesteak is basically gyro-style lamb meat but instead of placing it in pita bread it is put in a submarine-sandwich style roll with cheese on top. I picked provolone cheese. The sandwich was overflowing with a good amount of gyro meat, but the lettuce and tomatoes didn't seem very fresh. I did eat one half of it, and the meat was good, but if I ever order from here again, I would get the sandwich without the lettuce and tomatoes. The bread on the sandwich was pretty good though. The onion rings were a disappointment. They were soggy to me. Not much of a crunch and it didn't seem they were freshly cooked. The mozzarella cheese sticks were really good. Out of everything in my order, these seemed to be the best. Overall, I would not recommend. I liked the idea of gyro meat on a submarine sandwich bun, but the lettuce and tomatoes didn't seem fresh. Onion rings, likewise, were not very good. They were soggy and underwhelming.

I love this place. They know their Greek food. Sparse seating but I come for the expertise chefread more
