Rating based on: consistency, cleanliness, quality, taste, and presentation…read more What's popping, degenerates?JK Listen, I've been to this Firebirds Wood Fire Grill 6 or 7 times - yeah, 6 7. That's either dedication or a cry for help, you decide. I even went down a YouTube rabbit hole at 3am looking for videos about this place like some kind of food stalker, but nobody's doing it justice, so here I am, your friendly neighborhood food critic with questionable life choices. This ain't your sad Applebee's where dreams go to die - this is actually on point, no cap. It's the kind of spot where you can bring your shorty and not look like you're giving up on life. Yeah, it's a family restaurant, but they got dope ass drinks that'll make you forget you're sitting next to a screaming toddler. It's 2026 and I'm done with that deep-fried processed garbage that tastes like regret - but hey, if that's your vibe, do you, king. No judgment from a guy who's been here 6 or 7 times like it's my second job. The service? Impeccable. These people are friendlier than your Weed dealer and less pushy than your ex on her only fans page asking for donations ! They go beyond expectations, which is rare - most places treat you like you're interrupting their smoke break. This spot's more consistent than Anthony Edwards hitting game-winning threes. If you know, you know, bro. Let's talk about the HONEY CHICKEN - grilled to perfection with honey drizzle and sautéed vegetables that are actually fresh. Carrots, onions, cucumbers - scrumptious, mouth-watering, the whole nine yards. My side? SOUTHWEST AU GRATIN POTATOES that were so fire I'm writing this review at 2am thinking about them like my Ex Shorty with dat Phat Ass , I can't get over. You're probably reading this thinking, "Damn, this guy's either in beast mode or needs a therapist." Both can be true. Now the BARBECUE RIBS - listen, I'm picky about pork like I'm picky about who I drunk-text at midnight. These spareribs had a magnificent, immaculate sauce that was bussin'. Best ribs I ever had? Nah, far from it. But the quality's there, and I trust this place more than I trust my own decisions after 11pm, which is saying something. They give you a nice loaf of bread like Outback, but for some reason this place just hits different - it's like two levels above Outback, which is basically the Olive Garden of steakhouses anyway. There's so much more on this menu I wanna destroy - I'll keep you posted like it's my civic duty. Bottom line: If you got a few extra bucks and you're tired of eating like you've given up, pull up to Firebirds. The food's legit, the drinks are strong, and the vibe's solid.. And don't make the mistake of texting your Shorty at 3 in the morning that's not normal behavior, that's a lifestyle choice I'm still processing. Food is based * Cost entrée $20 to 60 on Average.. but burgers and sandwiches $15 to $22 Five stars, and that's from a guy who's seen some shit at 2am. Stay hungry, stay degenerate.

We were seated promptly, but when we went to place our order the waiter told us that not all entrees were included in the deal. There were no exclusions mentioned in the email, but he said management had told them. He said he's try to put it in anyway and see if it worked, and asked how that steak should be prepared. When our meals came mine was complete, but our veteran's meal only had a baked potato without the steak. The waiter then said that he thought she only wanted a baked potato, and he ran to get the missing steak prepared. By time it arrived of course, my dinner was complete (an entrée my wife was not interested in sharing), and she had eaten her baked potato. They packed her steak to go, included a new baked potato, and brought a plate of complimentary and still-frozen cheesecake as an apology. As expected... when they come, the steaks are excellent. The loaded baked potato was very good, and the parmesan mashed rather dry.

GM Bryan was so helpful in setting up a pre fixe menu for my large party & ensuring I could stay within a certain amount per person. Strict compliance meal limits of ~$170/pp and we came well under that! It was such a treat. The shareable apps were the duck meatballs & yeast rolls, and they were tasty! Maybe could have been more airy rolls but none were remaining on the table so all good. Some of us got salads in lieu of desserts, and the Caesar was great but different, a little too citrusy but nice/light/crunchy so I still really liked it. The stars of the show were the entrees & sides!! I chose the 6oz filet mignon & it was the highlight, cooked perfectly rare & needed zero sauce. Others chose either the scallops &/or seared halibut, and they loved them too. The shareable sides were honey glazed carrots, potato puree & mushroom bread pudding. They were all great, but the mushroom bread pudding was so unique; kinda like a stuffing with mushroom gravy but not overbearing & even the non-mushroom lovers liked it. The desserts were either tiramisu or Videri chocolate cake- and they could have been half portions & we woulda been happy! The chocolate cake was decadent. All in all, highly recommended for a business meal, they really did a great job catering to our specific needs & showcased their best dishes, imho. Service was great too, thanks Alan!!

When we arrived, the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything special, and so did our waitress. We told both of them that it was my birthday and that my wife's birthday is next week. Neither ever acknowledged it again. If you're going to ask about a special occasion, there should be some follow-through -- otherwise, what's the point in asking? Although our waitress started off friendly, her attitude shifted noticeably once she saw we ordered the burger. From that point on, she never came back to offer additional drinks, our water glasses remained empty, and we even noticed her spending a lot of time at other tables while completely ignoring ours. The most uncomfortable part was when my wife asked for a box so she could pack her leftovers herself due to a previous bad experience. The waitress said that wasn't allowed, took the food to the back, and never returned. We sat for quite a while until another staff member passed by and asked if everything was okay. Only then did we explain that we were still waiting for our boxed food. For a high-end restaurant, this was one of the poorest dining experiences we've had in a long time. The customer service simply isn't there, and we have no intention of returning.

The mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, egg rolls, and bread were good. My mixed vegetables were ok. The vegetables needed some seasoning. We were seated immediately in a little room off the side, which was quiet and romantic. Our server was very personable and offered wonderful recommendations without having to ask. She also let us know that Rey's just won best steakhouse last week! We each started with the caesar salad, which our waitress let us know that the croutons (& dressing) were homemade - the croutons were definitely a standout, impeccably seasoned and buttery. Otherwise it was a classic caesar salad feel, dressing was nothing to write home about. For entrees, I went for the surf & turf, which came with a filet mignon and lobster tail. The filet mignon was cooked to medium rare perfection and had a buttery-like consistency where it felt like it could melt in your mouth. The lobster tail was cooked, chopped up, and placed back in the tail, which I loved. It came with a side of garlic butter, which was lovely but also not necessarily needed since it was already cooked with a good amount of garlic butter - delicious. My husband got the 16oz NY strip. All meat we got cooked "Pittsburg style" which provided a lovely crisp on the outside of our steaks. For sides, we opted for garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The potatoes were creamy and nicely salted. The grilled asparagus was tender and not hard/stringy which often happens at the ends - however, it came to the table a tad cold. We ended our meal with some coffee - we didn't love the taste of it. Overall, this was a lovely meal. I can understand why their steak is highly regarded around here!

We started with the cinnamon bun, which was housemade brioche with a vanilla sugar glaze, and honestly it could have been the whole meal. It was that good. We ordered around the table, egg scramble bowl, huevos rancheros, chicken burrito. All of it was solid. The huevos rancheros especially. Salsa roja, chorizo, queso fresco, avocado. Fresh-squeezed OJ and cava in the mimosas didn't hurt either. The food was great. Tori made it memorable. Our server, Victoria (prefers Tori) was just one of those people. She knew when to come by and when to leave us alone, which sounds simple but most people can't do it. Not performative warmth, just actual warmth. She was on top of everything without making us feel managed. We talked about her afterwards. Tori made the occasion. Thank you Tazza Kitchen Stone Creek Village at 600 Ledgestone Way, Cary NC!

And while we were waiting for 5 minutes for our table we were given a slice of pizza to taste, which was an amazing gesture and the pizza was so good, think crust, cheesy but light. We ordered beer and a mocktail for drinks and I loved my mocktail, it was refreshing. For appetisers we ordered their cast iron goat cheese that came with their buttery sour dough bread chunks, the dip was a little too sour for my taste but it was compensated by the flavour full goat cheese. We also ordered their kale and chillies salad for the table and loved it. Highly recommended. For our main course we ordered their Harrisa bowl with crab cake and the Brick oven salmon. The crab cake was on of the best I have ever had. Next time I am definitely ordering their full crab cake order with fries. Every item in the bowl was complementing each other perfectly. The lightly sauted vegetable with a dash of honey tasted great with the tangy white taziki and cucumber sauce and the pearl couscous. I am definitely trying the other bowls next time I am there. The salmon was perfectly cooked and tender. The fried rice, sauted vegetables and the whipped goat cheese tasted so good together. For dessert we ordered their flourless chocolate cake and it was a little dry but very guey and chewy, loved the taste though! Our server was extremely sweet and so considerate of our choices and gave us substitutes and also packed some extra bread togo. So happy and content with food service and the overall ambiance of this restaurant. It gives a fancy vibe but is also very reasonable. Definitely going there again soon!!
