We enjoyed the restaurant. We ordered a bacon burger, and two serloin steaks. The waitress was super friendly. There was plenty of parking, and the restaurant was clean.

Visited with a party of 8. Customer service from start to finish was great! Our waitress was fantastic! Several of us ordered steaks. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The sizes and portions are large. We were asked what sides do we want, as if they are included, but discovered at checkout that we were charged for each side Ala carte. That's my only knock on our visit. After tax and tip we paid $300. The food and service were good enough to return. We will be back but more mindful on our sides.

Dined here over the weekend with my mother in law & husband. We were able to find a sit easy on a Saturday afternoon. I really enjoyed my Strawberry Shortcake. I enjoyed it so much we ordered 2 more. One for my husband and one for my mother in law. Service was fast and the space started to fill up once we were headed out. Quick & consistent food.

Dad, his girlfriend, and I went Longhorn Steakhouse for Christmas Eve dinner after Mass and it was a nice experience. When we arrived, it was busy. The hostess told us it would be a 20 minute wait and we were Ok with the time. Dad went to the bathroom and noticed a bunch of empty tables in the dining room that had not been bust yet, so the restaurant was short staffed for the holidays. We figured they allowed people to take off for the holidays. The bar area was also empty and had empty tables, so we told the hostess we would sit in the bar area as well if it was available. Luckily, within 20 minutes, a booth was available at the bar and the hostess sat us in the booth. The ambiance was Texas themed with portraits of cowboys and Indians, and western decor all around the restaurant. It had been a long time since I had been to a Longhorn Steakhouse, so I recalled the Western theme and the nice decor and pictures all around the restaurant. It definitely brought character to the restaurant which is why Longhorn Steakhouse is such a great place for lunch or dinner. Our waitress arrived and she was very enthusiastic and had a huge smile on our face when she took our order. She brought our drinks right away which were two glasses of Trinity Oaks Pinot Noir. Dad ordered a half rack of ribs with sweet potato and a Caesar salad. I ordered the Longhorn Salmon with sweet potato and a mixed greens salad with white Balsamic Vinaigrette. My dad's girlfriend just ordered the loaded baked potato soup. We all enjoyed our meals very much. My salmon was a good size portion and cooked to perfection. The sweet potato was wonderful and cooked just right with the cinnamon sugar topping and butter. It had a very nice texture as well. Dad loved his ribs and his girlfriend enjoyed the loaded baked potato soup. The salads were very fresh as well and tasted delicious. Our waitress demonstrated excellent customer service throughout the meal and checked on us on a few occasions. For a Christmas Eve dinner, Longhorn Steakhouse met the expectations for me and my Dad. We were very pleased with the food and service. The restaurant was busy and packed, and it was nice to see the manager buss tables and help clean up the restaurant to allow people to be seated in a timely manner. This shows teamwork among the staff and leadership to make the restaurant successful. Longhorn Steakhouse is a great place for a steak and a meal with family or friends. It will be around for a long time.

I love Longhorn. Meat is tender and very delicious, as well as the other sides. Can't talk enough about the bread, delicious! Service was quick and very good!

I ordered my favorite-- Fish & Chips-- almost no french fries, and french fries cost nothing to serve. The fish was in tiny little pieces, and I was used to large chunks of delicious batter-fried white fish. And what most people would not care about - - the coleslaw - - I look forward to it at chefs pallet. The serving was not even 2 tablespoons. yes - - I should have brought it to the attention of the server. But who does that? It was just a side/condiment-- coleslaw. AND-- it was literally just shaved cabbage - - it really didn't even have any dressing or other ingredients. One friend ordered the special which was $55. It was a fillet, mashed potatoes, and roasted brussels sprouts. OK that's fine - - but in my opinion, any meal that cost $55 should have a salad as part of it as well. She did not complain - - but I just could not believe at how it really seems like CP is skimping from the level of generous portions that are signature at that restaurant. The friend who ordered this - - she lives in Morrisville and particularly looks forward to chef's pallet because it has always been superior to restaurants she is used to in Cary/Morrisville. Very sad to see CP dropping the standards that I have been used to for years.

This evening was a very different experience. After finishing our meal I looked up and noticed the ceiling fan was filthy. Dust and dirt was caked on the blades and I can imagine it flying onto plates when on. Fortunately the fan wasn't turned on. I asked to speak with the manager, Jason Anderson, and he would not even look at the fan. He said he would take care of it, but his attitude was he just didn't care. I'm sure the other fans in the restaurant were in the same condition. Next to our table was a birthday party with some kids, so naturally they left a mess on the floor. Food scraps and trash had been dropped. That's to be expected with young kids, but what's not expected is when the next group was seated the floor had not even been swept. It was not an environment where you would want to have a meal. While the food tasted good the filthy condition of the restaurant made me question if the food had been prepared in a clean kitchen. Hopefully so, but I wouldn't bet on it. I hate to see a good restaurant go bad, but if today is any indication I don't have much hope for this location. I hope they clean the place up and do better in the future. We'll see next time we go, but if it's filthy like today we wont stay for the meal.

We stopped by on a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing--I'm guessing many diners were coming from church. Thankfully we made a reservation because every table seemed to fill up quickly. To kick things off, we each ordered a refreshing Lone Rider wheat beer along with two appetizers. The Shoestring Okra Fries were a fun twist on a Southern classic--crispy, lightly seasoned with chili citrus seasoning, and even better dipped in the tangy lime mayo. We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

It would be like renaming the Angus Barn to something like the Beef Shed. I'll start with the two desserts...we couldn't decide between the three desserts they had so we settled on two. Both were freaking amazing. Almost ordered the third to go. The Chocolate tort with Nutella gluten free was creamy and deeply rich in flavor. The Espresso Panna cotta with strawberries was lighter and subtly sweet and perfect. I also couldn't decide between one entry so I got the Vietnamese pork chop and the smoked wings in plum bbq sauce...the pork chop was just okay but everything else that came with it was really good...those vegetables rocked! Now the plum wings...that's unusual and was definitely something that was downright flavorful...I would get them again for sure. My girlfriend is gluten-free and picked this place just for the GF chicken and she was blown away. I tried it and I was blown away. Usually GF food is not good, grainy, and lacking real depth...not this place. This was in all likelihood the best gluten free friend chicken I've ever had and it was half of a freaking chicken! Soooo many fries. We ended up taking half of it home and it made a complete second dinner the next day reheated in the air fryer. Definitely somewhere we will return very soon. The atmosphere is cozy and small and the perfect place for a date night. Also, their GF chicken is better than Beasley's GF chicken...just sayin!!
