About a month ago, I sent a Yelp request to steamer pros after a friend recommended them. They had cleaned her carpets and she said it looked spanking new. After a year of regular carpet cleaning, I wasn't seeing the results I wanted with stain removal. It didn't help that our house was a revolving door of canine traffic from all the foster dogs we had traipsing through. There's nothing worse than the pee of an adult male dog that seeps into your carpet fibers. No amount of cleaning, steaming or anything would make a difference. And the stain and smell kept coming back despite hiring a professional carpet cleaning company. After seeing no results and still spending money, I called these guys. A husband and wife team, they were incredibly helpful. They asked detailed questions and I sent pictures to help them ascertain what they would be dealing with. Apparently my cleaning endeavors had caused excess moisture to be retained. After giving them approximate measurements, I got an estimate, which was round about what I was expecting. The day of the job, Ray and his team member came in, set up and got the job done in about 2 hours. It's been a month and none of those pee stains are back. I have used Steamer Pros at two houses. The first time was when I sold a house. I hired a different carpet cleaner two months before but I wanted the carpet cleaned again before the house was listed. The difference was very apparent and the carpets came out extremely well using the power cleaning service. I recently used Steamer Pros on my townhouse with very old carpets. The carpets came out as very well as expected but Raymond was willing to return and redo the corner areas that had turned brown due to high traffic. The heavy traffic areas had worn the carpet so the brown could not be completely removed but the result was satisfactory. Steamer Pros is very customer service driven but they are not the cheapest but you can have high expectations that your carpets will be well cleaned. This is an extra cost but so far well worth it. The actual cleaning went smoothly--the stains we expected to come up did and the ones I didn't expect to come up have lessened in color which is a win. Steamer Pros took care to protect the wall corners, put out slip mats to keep water off the floor and kept the inconvenience to a minimum. They asked me to look around before they were done to make sure I was satisfied and told me to call them back if later on I notice anything that needs more attention.
