Great service, cozy atmosphere, great food selection. Mash potatoes and the Cesar salad are the highlight. We had the steak/shrimp/scallop platter one night and the Cajun ribeye another night. Both hit the spot. The rainbow trout and clams are tasty as well.

Wow. Food was AMAZING! Staff was friendly, attentive. We were seated right away at 6:00 on a Saturday night, without a reservation. I could not believe how quickly plates were coming out of the kitchen! Every seat was filled, and there was a 42 top seated just before us. FORTY TWO!!!! It was definitely a bit tight in there, but the staff ROCKED! Blown away. The mushroom bisque was excellent, the sourdough soft and warm, and I had the Baked Scallops in garlic butter and parm. Hubby had the Cajon Steaks. Even the mashed potatoes were amazing! Will be back!!! (And will have reservations next time!!)

    Artichoke cheese dip

The artichoke dip was good. Steak was good but seemed to be just your basic S&P seasoning and sear. Vibe was good and staff friendly.

This is the second time we have been to STEAMERS, both times we were lucky enough to have CHRISTINA as our server! The food is amazing and the service impeccable! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Glasses on Conundrum great glass of wine and very reasonable at $9 a glass

I really wanted to like this place more and while the food was pretty good just way too many mishaps. We made a reservation for our anniversary and based on some of the mixed reviews hoping it would be better. Walking in I am not sure what kind of atmosphere they are trying to accomplish, but what we did see is weird "for sale" items in the lobby and inside is super outdated. We got sat in a corner booth and waited for some service. After about 10 mins a friendly you lady said I will bring you wanter. After a few more minutes she came back out with the water and we ordered a couple glasses of wine to start. This is a positive not only are their by the glass prices really good, but so are the bottles compared to most any places. We both had the Conundrum which is a great red blend and for $9 a glass is a super great deal. For appetizer we had the baked Brie with walnuts and huckleberry glaze served with freshly baked bread. This was pretty good and good way to start. For dinner I had the rack of lamb with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. The lamb was cooked perfect, but lacked some seasoning and the sauce was a little overwhelming. My wife had the lemon chicken in a white wine sauce with capers. She absolutely loved her dish. The food for the most part was the high point of the experience. However what took away some stars was just how outdated the place was and didn't appear to be super clean. Plus the service while our waitress was friendly and constantly apologized to our table and the others around for forgetting things etc...you can only apologize so many times when you just want to get it right. I would give this place another try for sure based on the lack of this type of restaurant in the area.

Came early-ish at 5:00 and there was about 50% of the seating available. Looking over the menu we agreed to get items to share vs doing individual items. Lots of options and the usual spousal "what do you want, idk what do you want" and we agreed to start with just one wings and one flatbread. Unfortunately as we are about to order they put on order of empanadas and the artichoke dip on the pickup counter and I blurted out, "and those". Then the food arrives...too much??? See pics. Well I can say not one bite went to waste, though it took two days(leftovers) to finish it all. We stayed only 2 minutes away and actually got another to go order of the dip again for the second night. PS we paid a few bucks for extra crostini(sp?) for dip, and used them all, highly recommend. Everything was great, the dip was to die for as were the empanadas. The place was packed by 6, and while only two employees handled it all they did a great job and earned a generous tip, which ain't easy from me. Place is cute and has a cool hangout vide with decent beer and very good wine selections. Gonna be hard choosing between our two favorite Donnelly, heck Valley County, eateries but at least the same folks will benefit.

Place isn't large but tables were open, though it filled before we left. There was one server and 2 in the back, so our waitress was busy. She did well, on service, though not overly attentive, but she was spread thin and we didn't suffer at all from a lack of attention. Menu was just the right size for size of the place and staff with Burgers, Sandwiches, Steak, and Pastas. Wife and I shared 3 items, French Onion Soup, Wedge Salad, and the Bacon Bison Burger with homemade chips. The burger was outstanding for $14, cooked right and flavorful, and the chips were a pleasant surprise. The Wedge , $13, was ample and tasty, though the very top of wedge had to be discarded and was obviously wilted. I'll state here, I fully understand Valley County should be graded on a slight curve, and lettuce is a tough one, but I'm sure cook noticed when cutting. Rest of lettuce was good. Rest of salad was also. Lastly the French Onion Soup was not great. Basically the onions were not cooked long and slow enough to develop flavor, heck they were firm. We will be eating here again, as the food and service overall was good and the location is nice and awful convenient. Prices was inline with what you get and for Valley County. Service was good, but I'm sure it could be a bit better with an extra server on busy nights, so they can have more time. I was surprised to see no real info on hotel site regarding restaurant or a link on their website so I'm not sure how many people know this is available while visiting Cascade.

Our server Brittany greeted us promptly and was very pleasant and attentive to our every need. My wife had the Chehalem Chardonnay and I had a glass of the Prisoner. Both were served promptly and were perfect. We ordered the Pepper Jelly Glazed Pork Belly as it sounded very unique. A word of caution though, the portion is very large with two big cuts of pork belly. The jelly glaze and seared crust on the pork belly was excellent and tasty. The pork belly itself tasted very good, but wasn't as tender as we expected. We expected a much more tender meat. That isn't to say it was tough (it wasn't) or very good (it was!). However, this is very rich for an appetizer. It could really be a main entree! My wife ordered the special for the day, which was a surf & turf with scallops and a "Denver cut" steak. She ordered the steak medium (defined by Brittany as pink but no red). She said the scallops were perfectly cooked. Tender and tasty. However, the steak was medium rare at best. Brittany agreed that it was not medium and took it back to correct. When the steak was returned, it was better, still not medium, but acceptable. That's when my wife discovered how fatty the cut of meat was. A large part of it was all fat and not edible. I on the other hand ordered the 8-Oz Double-R Ranch Tenderloin, medium rare+. It was perfect, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. Cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of Asperagus which was delicious, but again be aware, the portion was more than enough for two and probably could have been shared by 3 or 4! In conclusion, the service was impeccable (Brittany A++!), the food was good (but should have been great), wine was excellent, and ambiance is perfect!
