The Wedge , $13, was ample and tasty, though the very top of wedge had to be discarded and was obviously wilted. I'll state here, I fully understand Valley County should be graded on a slight curve, and lettuce is a tough one, but I'm sure cook noticed when cutting. Rest of lettuce was good. Rest of salad was also. Lastly the French Onion Soup was not great. Basically the onions were not cooked long and slow enough to develop flavor, heck they were firm. We will be eating here again, as the food and service overall was good and the location is nice and awful convenient. Prices was inline with what you get and for Valley County. Service was good, but I'm sure it could be a bit better with an extra server on busy nights, so they can have more time. I was surprised to see no real info on hotel site regarding restaurant or a link on their website so I'm not sure how many people know this is available while visiting Cascade.

That's when my wife discovered how fatty the cut of meat was. A large part of it was all fat and not edible. I on the other hand ordered the 8-Oz Double-R Ranch Tenderloin, medium rare+. It was perfect, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. Cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of Asperagus which was delicious, but again be aware, the portion was more than enough for two and probably could have been shared by 3 or 4!
