We love this restaurant. We went here on our honeymoon a few years ago and went back for our anniversary this year. The food was just as good as we remembered. The service is amazing all of the staff is so nice and attentive. The view is gorgeous you sit right on the lake and have a great view of the mountains.

You come here for the view right on the lake. I would say this is one of the best patios to dine on. We came here for brunch and it was delightful. Make a reservation to ensure you get a table on the water. We had Eggs Benedict's: smoked salmon was on point and the hollandaise sauce complemented it nicely. Hash browns were a bit soft would have liked them a bit more crispy. French toast with huckleberries was delicious and sweet. Get it with a side a bacon to balance the sweet. The bacon is crispy and savory. The burrito is the shining star to this place. Hearty and delicious. I don't usually like burritos but this one has all the right flavors. Service was great and friendly. Definitely would come back.

The assistant manager was incredibly rude. We walked in with our baby and small dog, asked a staff member where the restaurant was and they walked us to the host stand. The hostess then walked us to a table. Shortly after sitting down the assistant manager then told us dogs were not allowed and others tried to tell us this. This yelp page also says dog friendly. The way she approached it was horrible and don't recommend this spot.

Food is always delicious! Staff is friendly and prompt. Clean, quiet dining setting with stunning views. Be sure to make a reservation - the bar seating is limited and without a reservation the wait can be an hour+ for a table for 2 on a Fri/Sat night.

We sat patiently for about 12 mins, then a server dropped off the check for one of the tables next to us and ignored us. A busboy came to clear their table and didn't pay attention to us. About 5 mins later another server dropped off the check to the other table next to us. I thought she would at least greet us - but she also ignored us and turned around to leave that table and was sure to turn so she faced away while turning around. After waiting for a very unreasonable amount of time we left. The restaurant was only about half full when we came in. All of the tables near us already had their food or had finished eating, so it's not like the sever was busy taking other orders or delivering meals to patrons. A horrible experience to say the least! Go find somewhere else. And - their online menu does not match their actual menu. We went a short distance down the street to the Cutwater Restaurant inside the Shore Lodge. We were greeted within 2 minutes of being seated. Very friendly service. A great view of the lake - a MUCH BETTER place for dinner.

Our server Brittany greeted us promptly and was very pleasant and attentive to our every need. My wife had the Chehalem Chardonnay and I had a glass of the Prisoner. Both were served promptly and were perfect. We ordered the Pepper Jelly Glazed Pork Belly as it sounded very unique. A word of caution though, the portion is very large with two big cuts of pork belly. The jelly glaze and seared crust on the pork belly was excellent and tasty. The pork belly itself tasted very good, but wasn't as tender as we expected. We expected a much more tender meat. That isn't to say it was tough (it wasn't) or very good (it was!). However, this is very rich for an appetizer. It could really be a main entree! My wife ordered the special for the day, which was a surf & turf with scallops and a "Denver cut" steak. She ordered the steak medium (defined by Brittany as pink but no red). She said the scallops were perfectly cooked. Tender and tasty. However, the steak was medium rare at best. Brittany agreed that it was not medium and took it back to correct. When the steak was returned, it was better, still not medium, but acceptable. That's when my wife discovered how fatty the cut of meat was. A large part of it was all fat and not edible. I on the other hand ordered the 8-Oz Double-R Ranch Tenderloin, medium rare+. It was perfect, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. Cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of Asperagus which was delicious, but again be aware, the portion was more than enough for two and probably could have been shared by 3 or 4! In conclusion, the service was impeccable (Brittany A++!), the food was good (but should have been great), wine was excellent, and ambiance is perfect!

We made a reservation for 8pm on a Saturday, and honestly, they weren't packed (they still had plenty of tables open). When we arrived there was no one at the host stand, and when they came they didn't check us in right away. Once we confirmed the reservation it took about 10 minutes for us to be seated, and there was a couple that came after us that had a reservation at the same time and were seated before us (okay, no big deal). We did get a window seat, which was nice. But this is supposed to be an upper scale restaurant in the area, and the silverware we were given was dirty, so not a great start. The server came to take our order, we ordered mocktails and a huckleberry lemon drop as well as the bread basket and the cured meat and cheese plate- compared to the Cutwater, honestly, no comparison. The teens didn't even drink the mocktail (which the server did take off the bill, and that was nice) and the lemon drop was okay. The bread basket and meat plate were fine, but we wouldn't order them again. My son ordered the 12oz ribeye (which was nearly 60.00) and I would say at least 50% of it was fat, and his was overcooked. I ordered the flat iron, and mine was undercooked, so he ended up eating mine. The herb roasted potatoes needed seasoning and felt like something they simply tossed on the plate. My daughter's Caesar salad was as expected to a side salad. Our server never came to check on us after the food was brought out, and we waited for her to return after we were done with the food for nearly 20 minutes. Overall we were disappointed and not truly certain why this place is recommended above other similar places in town. Very expensive, seems like it is trying to be upscale or more "fine-dining" but it missed the mark for us.

The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The dip for the finger steaks had a good amount of horseradish in it, wasn't overpowering but put heat into the bite. They did bring an extra plate, which was nice, and not to be charged for it is even better. They may have added some extra fries and fingers, don't know, but we were more than satisfied with the quality and quantity. Sad to see what was once a great brewery is now trying to pick up its pieces.
