It is funny saying you had a great experience somewhere when the whole reason you are there is because you had some type of BAD experience with your car. But, I DID have a fantastic experience dealing with this crew. I got hit by an Amazon driver. Not the actual blue truck. A contracted vehicle. So, the process was LONG. Very LONG. But, after a referral from a Lexus repair shop up north that we visited for my wife's car, it was the best decision I have made in some time. When searching for a repair shop, it is tough to know what to look for. I can't speak for you, but I didn't have the time nor patience to vet out every repair shop in Denver. And, I wasn't in any mood to do so with a busted up ride. So, I decided to go on the referral, my first impression when I walked in, and a couple referrals online. If reading this, and your car needs some work, stop looking around. I will save you the time. Although I am not any body shop expert, this is the best place I can imagine going to. I will be recommending this shop to anyone of my friends or network who has an incident, and will be taking my car there for any future work. Because I was dealing with Amazon and their third party insurance, I was concerned about the admin side of things, and getting stuck with charges at the end. Jordan was behind the counter and assured me that she would handle all contact with Amazon and insurance, and all rental admin stuff. They gave me a ride to the nearby Enterprise initially, handled ALL admin stuff for the months in between, took the rental car back after giving me my ride, and even fixed a windshield crack on their dime that happened on their watch. Jordan was fantastic in keeping me updated on the insurance company's very slow approval of supplements to the repairs. Steve runs the place, he seems like a great dude, and you can just tell that he runs his business in an ethical and fair way, and that his crew is trained to make each customer happy after their unhappy car incident. I don't recommend getting hit by an Amazon driver. And I don't wish your car to need auto body work at all. But, I DO recommend, if anything unfortunate happens to your prized vehicle, in taking any repair work to this place without hesitation. read more

Steve at Steel Autobody is a man of his word. Two years after a repair he covered an issue with a headlight that he warrantied. It took a lot of effort to deal with this issue, but he and his crew made it right. Also, I have seen a negative review of Jordan, his office person, and I can say that it was totally wrong. Jordan went out of her way to be available, responsive, and completely honest and transparent about everything going on. I have found this to be the case through two major repair issues, and numerous interactions on lesser things. She is an exemplary employee, and a good person. These guys truly are the best, even for small jobs. Like a fool, I had totally mangled one of the hinges on my mini cooper rear hatch. They fitted a new hinge (painted to match), and jimmied the other hinge which was also a little bent as a result of my endeavors. I had been given some meaty estimates from other mini mechanics, but Steve and an employee, 'Skinny Fingers', were able to do the tricky work MUCH cheaper without removing a load of panels and the roof liner. Initially, I wasn't going to leave a review, but after my interactions with Jordan at the front desk, I felt compelled to share my experience. This has been my go to body shop for over a year now. However, my last experience here was an incredibly disappointing one, and I cannot recommend it to anyone anymore, especially Tesla owners. Jordan's unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and lying has made an already stressful situation so much worse. Customer service is clearly not a priority here, and they don't seem to care about their customers' time or trust. It's clear to me now that this shop is far from capable of handling Teslas or providing even basic levels of honesty and service. Wow, I can't tell you how pleasantly surprised I was with the work and interactions I had with the team at Camaro's Plus! Don't be fooled by the name, they don't only work on Camaro's, in fact they are changing their name shortly to 'Steel Autobody' to better reflect that they can accommodate any kind of automobile. I had an issue with the bumper of my 2010 Audi S4 and was referred here by my mechanic. I called and spoke to Caty (who is amazing) and she got me in same day for an estimate, which took about 15 minutes to generate, and came back with an unbelievably fair price. They were able to get my car in 3 days later to start the work, the parts came in quickly to make the repairs and Caty communicated with me throughout the process to ensure that everything was going according to expectations. When I got my car back I was also super impressed with the fact that not only did they detail the inside of my car, making it look and feel brand new, they actually steam cleaned my engine compartment, which I didn't realize until a couple of days later when I opened the hood. The engine also looked brand new! I don't care how far you have to drive to get here, the trip is worth it, Caty, Steve and the rest of the team are awesome and deserve your business, can't recommend this place enough! read more

Still cannot believe the Colorado Court's did not find you liable for putting the driver's side quarter panel on my 65 Ford Mustang crooked although you witness never testified that you didn't put it on crooked. It's hard to take that I have to pay somebody to re-do everything you did. Since the insurance company paid you about $11,000 to mess up my car, I'm guessing that is what I'll have to pay somebody to straighten out your work. read more

This review is long overdue, but I need to give credit where credit is due. Auto body damage is frustrating to deal with. Regardless, I was more than impressed with the attention and more so the quality work I experienced at Camaros Plus body shop. I dropped by unannounced, right after the damage occurred, and the receptionist, Trish, sorted out my misfortune even just days shy of New Years. The owner, Steve, personally came out to take a look at the damages on the spot and gave me a reasonable estimate. Once I notified my insurance, the shop promptly worked with any disputes on labor /repair costs with my insurance and made all the arrangements. I didn't have to do a thing aside from drop it off and pick it up a few days later. On a second note, my vehicle was purchased with some hail damage prior and after mentioning it to Steve, we were able to settle on a reasonable additional cost and a couple days difference in time frame to source replacement panels, in order to spray alongside each other and take care of the hail damage with paint less dent repair all at once. Long story short: I was in need of small dent repair and once everything was said and done I was left with my Jeep looking better than when I drove it off the dealer . If you're looking for a quality local body shop with the customer in mind and a quick turnaround, make sure and stop by for an estimate. I hit a deer with my 4Runner a couple months ago and my off road shop (RSG) recommended Steve at Camaro's Plus. I definitely don't regret going here. I have custom fog lights and an aftermarket bumper on the front end, as well as a Magnuson supercharger that was damaged in the accident. All was repaired to the exact way it was before. Steve also replaced a driver side brake light for no charge, as well as added a few customized things I wanted to do to the rear hatch. He stands by his warranty as well. Honest and trustworthy shop that does good work. I'd definitely take you your vehicle here. It's never easy dealing with any kind of car repair as a female. Even being a "car girl," I find that many shops treat you like a "stupid girl" and try to screw you over. This is NOT the case at Camaro's Plus. Steve and the rest of the staff are incredible, honest and super friendly. My Dodge Challenger recently ended up with some body damage from a UPS driver. After getting quoted at several places they were the most reasonably priced (one repair I was quoted almost $3,000 at another shop and Steve fixed it for $800) and I felt I trusted them the most.
