I have seen Dr. Steele several times and she is friendly and really listens to your needs. I have had a few extra things done in addition to cleanings. (1) I did invisalign which was great! I'm glad I was able to just see my regular dentist for this instead of having to find an orthodontist. (2) I also had some excess gum flaps that partially covered my wisdom teeth. I had asked my old dentist about it and he said not to worry about them, but I found that I always played with these flaps with my tongue and sometimes they would get irritated. For years, I figured there was nothing I could do about this. Well, one visit, I decided to ask Dr. Steele about them and she said the flaps don't do any harm, but can be removed. I said I would think about it. Well, after about another year of being annoyed by the flaps, I finally decided to just have them removed. When I called to make the appt. I was able to get in fairly quickly. Dr. Steele offered my nitrous oxide which was great, totally worth the extra cost! I was a little nervous about the procedure, but the nitrous oxide took the edge off. Every time I have been in the office, the staff is extremely friendly. I have seen a few negative reviews about insurance, but that is the insurance company that needs the negative yelp reviews- not the dental office! geesh people! read more

I have no idea why the other reviewers would give such a bad review. I have been in twice and both times I had an outstanding experience. I went in once for a cleaning and the second time was to get a cavity filled. Both times, Dr. Steele and her staff were nothing but friendly, kind and courteous. I had a ton of concerns with getting my cavity filled because of some bad experiences at other places, and they 100% eased those worries and were very gentle with how they treated me during the procedure. I have extremely sensitive teeth, and anyone who has sensitive teeth can agree with me that it makes you flinch just thinking about something irritating them. They were very cautious both visits not to hurt my teeth and I am so thankful for that:) I have some other issues going on with my teeth and Dr. Steele was very up front about what I needed to get done. She informed me about the more urgent ones, one being the cavity, and things that I should get done, but that could wait. I never felt like she was pushing me to get work done that didn't need to get done. She was also very sensitive to the fact that I do not have dental insurance, so taking one thing at a time so as not to break the bank, was how she approached it with me. I've been a patient of Steele Dentistry, Dr. Kate Steele for almost 2 years now and I'm very pleased with Dr. Steele and the work that she does. After my first visit I knew this was the dental office for me. Dr. Steele has a soft tenderness in her touch that puts the most apprehensive patient, at ease and she explains each procedure and she performs them. She's thorough with her diagnosis and treatment plan suggestions and she only recommends what is best for you. After a few visits she began a non evasive personal dialog with me which was only to get to know me better and this made me feel even more at ease and that she genuinely cared for me as a person first and patient second. The staff at Steele Dentistry are the epitome of Dr. Steele whether they're full time or temporary. I've always been treated with kindness and respect. They greet you by name with a mega-watt smile and they act as though they're really happy to see you and I'm truly convinced that they are! I sent this letter to Dr. Steele and never even received a reply. Dear Dr. Steele, Last week you did a tooth extraction for me. You and your staff were warm, caring and professional. Nevertheless, you made decisions which risked my life, and I wanted to tell you about them so that perhaps you will think again if faced with a similar situation with another patient. This is not an "I'm gonna sue you" letter---it is a "Please be more careful" letter. My heart rate was quite elevated...you told me to relax. My oxygen level was 84...and you checked it on different fingers, and told me to take lots of deep breaths. I told you I had current asthma and a cough...I took an albuteral inhaler to try to improve my oxygen levels. And you went ahead and did the extraction,. It turns out I have multiple pulmonary emboli. I know you are a dentist, not a doctor...but I should have been sent to a primary care doctor or ER on an urgent basis before proceeding with surgery. Dr. Steele and the ladies in her office are the best! They are always kind and happy to see me. Every time I go in I know that I am going to receive the highest quality of care. Dr. Steele is very knowledgeable and always has the answers to my questions. Every time I have to have work done, I walk in with confidence knowing that I will be in the best of hands. Literally the best dental office I have ever been to. Beautiful and very clean office. The front desk ladies are all very sweet. They verified my dental benefits before I came in and let me know I was covered for something. SO much better than getting a surprise bill in the mail! Their paperwork clearly explains my responsibility when it comes to my insurance so I know what to expect. I need some work and they presented the price to me before any work was done. I paid before my appointment so I didn't have to deal with money and was free to just walk out after my appointment when my mouth was numb. Dr. Reddy was compassionate about my fears and didn't make me feel bad because I have some bad teeth. My fillings went smoothly and my teeth feel great now! I will be the first to admit that I hate going to the dentist. I have had problems with my teeth since I was a small child. First when I walk to the reception desk the two receptionist were eating lunch I didn't think that was professional at all. They were nice but you don't eat lunch at the reception desk when you're serving customers. Also before the service was done they came to the cubicle to ask me to pay instead of waiting till after the service was done not professional at all you're supposed to pay at the end of service. First I heard I wasn't being charged then the clerk came to the cubicle and said that will be $50 out-of-pocket pay then when I requested a receipt it was an itemized for what the $50 was for. I was visiting my sister when I broke a tooth. Dr. Kate Steele and her team came highly recommended by sister and her husband. My sister had her wisdom teeth out there last year and had a great experience. Dr. Steele took her time and explained the options I had to fix my cracked and painful tooth. The girls up front worked with my insurance company so I didn't have to deal with that aspect. The procedure was virtually painless. My new crown is beautiful and my tooth feels great! I keep showing everyone because you can't tell it's a crown. My other crowns are pretty obvious. I have been going to Steele Dentistry since they opened. I have had the best experience each time. Everyone has been so nice and professional. They take good care of my teeth and I do not have a single complaint. I have a lot of issues with old fillings and such. Dr. Steele fixed the worst ones that were causing me pain. Since then she has been repairing and replacing the 40 - 50 year old fillings but just as needed and as covered by my insurance. They have billed my insurance accordingly and I have not had an issue in that regard at all. Very modern, professional looking atmosphere. Customer service is outstanding. Each employee greeted me standing up with a smile and handshake. All office staff dressed in suits to impress, gave me a tour of the location, and even gave me a gift (water bottle) for being a new customer. On top of that, they really cared about my teeth and gave me a deep cleaning, asked a lot of questions, and really dug into what was important for my health. I came to see Dr. Steele after a horrible experience with a "doc in a box" and she and her amazing staff were so kind and upon hearing about the trouble I was having with my teeth got me in right away (I ended up with two root canals and crowns, ick, I know) but it was all in all a really good experience and they are literally there for you day or night, weekend or holiday and willing to do what needs to be done to ensure confort and healthy teeth. Great dentist for Seniors. As seniors, my husband and I have had some dental issues in the last couple of years--old cracked fillings, crowns, periodontal disease, etc. Dr. Steele and her staff have been wonderful for us. All treatments from cleanings to crowns have been done with courtesy and competence. We especially like the insurance plan offered, which reduces the cost of crowns and other procedures by around 50%. We wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Well I have had 6 other teeth pulled, but today was the best experience I ever had. It wasn't a big rush in and out just to make money they took there time told me get comfortable. Then slowly took step by step and then Dr. Steele was putting gauze in and I was like it's out already an she said yes an begin to give me stitches to heal faster.
