Food is good not spectacular. Very very small dining area w only three or four tables but no coziness to be found. Owner or manager is a jerk. Uncomfortable vibe throughout and definitely doesn't feel like a place to dine. Not welcomed is what I came away with as far as what's rememberable. Maybe that cannoli...I remember enjoying it for sure. I've gone in as a customer and as a delivery driver and was treated differently each time. Pretty negatively as a driver which makes no sense being as though I'm delivering the food to an actual customer. As a customer I purchased a cheese pizza and a cannoli. The pizza crust was slightly undercooked but had a good taste. Not the best pizza I've ever had...Not by a long shot but it definitely wasn't bad. Would have been much better had they not rushed it causing it to be underdone but that goes back to that being not welcomed feeling I got. So here am I telling yall about it now. A lot of great reviews and I do think the food is good. We ordered a couple off the menu specials and while the flavors were fantastic, the sauce over took everything and I had to use a spoon. This was a polenta base that needed to be whisked to get the lumps out. There were several. I think the shrimp was a tad overcooked but the scallops were perfect . I really loved the dish overall and I could tell whoever made it had a chef's pallet. So many great things on the menu to try that I will definitely go back. If you like goat cheese I can imagine you would like the fried balls. I did not. But that's just a personal preference. The bacon jam that came with them was terrible. Too smokey imo. The server was fantastic and sweet as can be. I really hope people go and experience this place. Next time I'll stick to some of the favorites... read more

If you love a sweet sauce then you will love Stefano's. I had the spinach and cheese toasted bread with the spaghetti and meatballs. Both items were straight FIYA. The portions were huge and very affordable, considering the food was top tier. One downside is the restaurant is really small, 5 tables in all. May be better to order and take to the house if you're dining with a group. Great food, great service, and great value. Stefanos is one more triple threat in my list of establishments setting the bar high in Louisiana. read more

This place hits all of the marks. The food... absolutely incredible. Real gulf shrimp, perfectly cooked pasta, the right amount of sauce and portions large enough to take some home for later. The service.... LOVE Sophie!! She is the best. She was perfectly attentive, very sweet and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a small place with just a little bit of seating. It is not overcrowded and it is very clean and comfortable. Our chef was very charming and down to earth. It was a great combination you just don't find in a lot of chefs. You can't go wrong here. The fried ravioli along with the goat cheese balls were wonderful. The shrimp Jenny is creamy and spicy. The lobster ravioli was outstanding. I saw the cheese bread on another table and it looked awesome.... Very cheesy. I highly recommend lunch or dinner here. I'll be back soon!! read more

I really want to enjoy this restaurant. On my most recent visit, I ordered the lasagna and fried goat cheese balls. The goat cheese appetizer was excellent. However, the lasagna did not meet expectations -- the sauce was quite sweet, and the pasta itself had very little flavor. On a previous visit, I ordered the chicken parmigiana and had a similar experience. While the dishes were prepared well, the sweetness of the sauce and lack of seasoning in the pasta made both meals fall short for my taste. I'm hopeful future visits will better reflect the authentic Italian flavors the restaurant aims to provide. read more

Stephan, the chef and owner, does a superb experience with his flavor with the dishes we tried. The Spinach-Artichoke bread with a Marinara sauce is The Best I have ever tasted--a must!! And then we ate Chicken Marsala and Eggplant Parmesan -Huge and so tasty-enough to bring home for another meal and finally his freshly made Cannoli. This place is AMAZING. Their tomato sauce dishes are a sweet tomato which may or may not be your thing, but the shrimp Jenny (am off menu special) is a spicy cream pasta that will live rent free in my head for a long time. They don't have a lot of tables so make a reservation. Seriously, I saw multiple parties turned away while I was dining because there was no room. After seeing the other reviews, my family and I have been very excited to try this place. It's in a convenient location for us, and we really don't have too many options out here. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for us. This is not to say that it's straight up bad-just not what we were hoping for. We got lasagna, manicotti, and chicken parm. The one big issue was the sauce. It was SO overwhelmingly sweet. And obviously I understand adding sugar to any tomato-based sauce, that's typically a must in order to offset the acidity of the tomatoes. But this simply had no balance whatsoever. I could barely detect any flavors behind the sugar. The lasagna had some layers that were mozzarella, which is a little strange to me personally, i expected just ricotta between the meat layers. Mozz usually goes on top and gets nice and browned. But I also understand that everyone does it differently and I respect that. I definitely wouldn't write this place off if you haven't been, though. The pasta in every dish was cooked perfectly and the portion of the chicken parm was MASSIVE. Literally two and a half chicken breasts. The breading on it was also just the right amount, and I loved that there was angel hair pasta included with it. If you aren't put off by extra sweetness then you might enjoy this place. read more

Spaghetti and meatballs cannot be topped. Others have loved the pizza, and after having the margarita pizza, I am sold! The red sauce is homemade, tomato-y and just the right tangy/sweet. The crust is "just right" crispy and flavorful! The sausage that we ordered extra go with spaghetti and meatballs, that meat comes from Italy! The service was sweet and prompt and very helpful. This place was fantastic. Located in a shopping center it offers plenty of parking and ease to find. Very small dine in area with a handful of tables. Most orders seem to be take out or DoorDash. We dinned in and received excellent service. We started with a spinach artichoke bread that was great. We ordered shrimp risotto & manicotti. The shrimp risotto was okay. It was cooked perfect but a tremendous amount of flavor. The manicotti was outstanding!! Absolutely delicious. Everything taste homemade and freshly prepared. Would love to try the pizza. We got Chicken Parm and Spaghetti. The sauce tasted like sugar and had no seasoning. The cheesy garlic bites were full of cheese but they had no seasoning to complement, and they were served with marinara that also tasted overly of sugar. Overpriced as well. Not authentic if that's what you are looking for. read more

We had reservations for a large group (20+). Stefano and his staff had everything ready for us when we came in and made us feel like we were family coming to dinner. Our server was so sweet and handled everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious! Each person's meal came out hot, and the portion sizes were big enough that each dish could have been shared by two people. And did I mention the food was delicious? (I did, but it was so good that I will mention it again!) We will absolutely be coming back for more! read more

Amazingly delicious! Did not expect the food to be so good. I had the risotto and a meatball sub. Best risotto ever! Creamy and packed with mushrooms and fresh spinach and big shrimp on top. The sub had the best home made meatballs and the marinara was out of this world. Stefano, the owner, served us. Very nice guy. Clean little, deli style, restaurant. We will be back often!
